Someone snuck into his house. I went in the jewelry box to get it. It was a credit card. He didnt care about that but the two rings he had given to his wife. Anniversary ring i had given her with our first wedding anniversary. Gone. We were taken advantage of. Police dont know who is behind the theft. The workers insurance carriers all cleared. Then this video surfaced. A man graves doesnt know who had used that stolen credit card in north philadelphia. And this is where his faith in people can be redeemed. Id like him to say yeah, this is a person that used this card, i know this person. Is that likely, no. Police are hoping somebody knows this guy and kill tell them his name. They hope it will lead them to the missing ring that cannot be replaced. Somebody took them and said going to get a up couple bucks for them, you know. You aint going to get for them what they are worth to us. Reporter graves is hoping that somebody out there will look at the video, give a name and then police hopefully think that will lead them to maybe a pawn shop or somebody who may have the rings and they remind you if you know who the guy is, you can make an anonymous tip to the Abington Township Police department. Police say 40yearold susan highland never stopped after hitting 16yearold Quason Turner as he crossed 130 last nicht he was coming from a friends house after work and Police Believe he jumped the median. His mother says quason knew better and has this message for the female driver who never looked back. Im going to tell you to your face youre a coward for doing, that all you had to do is wait. My baby died by his self. Because you didnt want to sit there and be the person and be responsible enough to stay there and wait for somebody to come and help my son. Highland is charged with driving on a suspended license and leaving a deadly accident. Her niece was a passenger in the car at the time of the crash and police were able to track down highland at a home in camden after the niece called 911 from there to report the wreck. It shows the alleged hijacker walking through security at the airport before he boarded the plane. The plane was forced to land in cypress where the hijacker was taken into custody. Reporter you now it will be quieter at least in the overnight hours, the new law went on the books that makes this one of americas quietest cities which is going to be interesting how and when its enforced with a college town that intermingles so closely with all of the residents. Nobody seems to mind the guys who jam on main street. But the city noise ordinance made it quieter in the overnight hours. Some of the parties went on till 1, 2, 3 00 in the morning which is not acceptable. Richard says the strict noise ordinance used in moderation can be okay but one Council Member argues the new law goes too far. Youre going to hurt the residents with this law. While they cant control highway noise and trains the noise will be capped at 42 descy bells overnight. Normal breathing is about 10, a whisper is about 50, normal conversations are around 60, thunder is at about 120. Todd doesnt think police should waste time or money let alone the technology or training. Supporters of the law are trying to prevent the university of Delaware Building up its technology campus, a plan for a data center was scrapped amid concerns the power facility would make too much noise. Concerns about lead levels in water forced three Lehigh Valley schools to turn off drinking fountains. Water testing done by a tv station apparently showed lead levels higher than federal standards at bethlehems Northeast Middle School and allentowns high school and union ter race elementary school. The bethlehem district says the city of bethlehem routinely tests Water Quality in the city. And has informed that all tests reveal lead levels well below federal guidelines. It went on to say its unclear whether or not wfmz followed proper Sample Collection and testing protocols. We called the profess here did the testing, he did not know how the samples were taken. We talked to wsmz who says all protocols were followed. They did not use a professional service. The nbc 10 investigators researched lead problems in our area. All this week well show you what they uncovered in our special series called living with lead. They showed us how philadelphia is not enforcing a law that is supposed to get rid of lead in peoples homes. And tomorrow we are following the money trail. New at 5, cherry hill Police Officers floor with the generosity of a family. Four offduty officers went to maryland on friday for the funeral of a fellow Police Officer killed last week. The family started a conversation with the officers at a restaurant in baltimore. And then the family paid the officers bill without them knowing.
