Came over to my window and started acting like he was pulling me over. He was intimidating and belligerent. That incident happened back in april. And the Police Officer in question has been taken off the street pending an internal affairs investigation. Denise, walk us through the latest developments. Reporter the most recent incident happened here on the schuylkill expressway, but we did talk to a victim that said that the same thing happened to him in the same offduty Police Officer in the same pickup truck. A man who asked not to be identified came forward this story after seeing our story on nbc 10. He shared this video of a man who drove a pickup truck matching one involved in an alleged road rage incident yesterday. The man said the driver of the pickup tailgated him and struck his car back in april while heading southbound on 95 toward 76. It was hard not to get into with him. But he then kind of sped away so i followinged him. State police said they took a report, the pickup driver was considered at fault but not cited. And another man says that the same thing happened yesterday on schuylkill boulevard. He tried to run me often the road, he pulled his window down telling me he was a cop, can do anything he wants. He rolled down his window saying youre a [ bleep ], go back to your country. And the pickup truck cut khalil off. The lines plate led to a Philadelphia Police officer. The officer joined the elite Highway Patrol unit about six months ago and may have been on his way to work when the understa incident happen. Ed. Clearly officers have a duty to act professionally even while a off duty. But the allegations are very serious and were taking it as such. Reporter the officer has been put on desk duty, his gun taken away pending the internal affairs investigation. On a senivery different note, t same officer was credited with saving lives with a tourniquet issued by the Police Department. There is still much we dont know about what happened in both incidents. But we do know that we have two more names to add to a list of africanamericans killed by Police Officers in these encountsers. Clinton offered condolences to both men killed by police in North Carolina and oklahoma while speaking in orlando this afternoon. Last night in Charlotte Police in riot gear deployed tear gas during a violent night of protest. By the morning, calls for peaceful r0 tests. Theres no need for us rioting. Tuesday officers arrived at an apartment complex to sever a warrant to another man when they encountered the 43yearold who they said ignored very bam commands.
