Today, the Supreme Court locked in a tie on the immigration issue meaning the Lower Court Ruling stays in place. That court ruled that the Obama Administration did not have the authority to shield up to 4 Million Immigrants from deportation and make them eligible for work permits without approval from congress. The death of Justice Scalia left the Supreme Court evenly divided on the issue, and under the president s proposal, adults in the United States illegally could remain if they meet certain residency requirements and have children who are american citizens or lawful permanent residents, but expands another program now in effect allowing young people to stay in the country if they were brought here under age 16. It is my firm belief immigration is not something to fear. We dont have to wall ourselves off from those who may not look like us right now or pray like we do or have a different last name because being an american is about something more than that. The group declared victory after suspending their sitin after more than 25 hours on the house floor. They staged the protest to demand votes on two gun control bills in the wake of the orlando shooting rampage. They were not able to get republicans to vote, but the democrats say they got the point across to the american people. Well, listen, the mother says after finding the hall, she we want over the contract, paid everything up front, including a security deposit, one she was to get back within two weeks of the party, but those weeks turned into months.
