This is all part of pecos effort to get the power back and restored about an hour ago it they were reporting that 34,000 customers had been affected by that storm when it came through. And they came down in those thunderstorms and came out and did all that damage. But look what were left with, nothing but a couple little sprinkles around the area. Were also left with cooler days around here. It was 83 yesterday, its been in the 80s for a while. 73 was the high today. Tomorrow even without rain, its only get to ting to 76 and then friday 80. Atlantic city still 26 Miles Per Hour. They gusted up to near 60 Miles Per Hour with the storms. Well explain what the new law means for you. Right now the skies open up. Hail came pouring town in burlington county, but the strong storms hit neighborhoods all over the region. And take a look in moorestown oig. A downed power line, flames and smoke clearly visible. And tonight those storms have left behind a lot of power outages. A lot of dark clouds too and rain fills the skies over center city. This is time lapse video from our camera on top of the lowes hotel. We have Live Team Coverage from the ground and also the air. First Andrea Klein Thomas got a look at some of the damage in east locate lane neighborhood. Reporter take a look. Its now been about four hours since that storm passed through here. And this tree is still in the middle of the road. Residents are now just coming home and when they tdo, theyre stopping to take pictures. And no word on when the tree will be hauled away. I dont know who will clean this up. The man responsible across the street was his tree, im not sure who is responsible, the city, electric department, i dont know. Reporter the downed tree made a big mess for residents on north 7th street. And this woman immediately called the neighbor whose front yard is now littered. I said are you okay because shes disabled and she said that shes pine. Reporter thankfully that disabled neighbor was not home. In fact most residents were away when the storm passed through. The wind was much stronger, but you felt it when the wind blew and knocked the tree down
