And we are so blessed to have it back. And i can see by the parking lot that its quite full already and its only lunchtime. The owners spent 500,000 to clean, repair and repaint the restaurant. Today, the Internal Revenue service announced the new push to slow the surge in tax refund fraud. Theyre not wasting any time here. All starts with this years returns. The irs says 20 new safeguards on 2016 tax returns will flag suspicious forms more quickly. There will also be enhanced information sharing between the feds and tax preparation companies when returns are filed and stricter login requirements. The irs plans to monitor how long it takes to complete a return. And checks the electronic address are where the return originated. The irs commissioner has been telling you the new safeguards will not change the time it takes you to file returns electronically. Live in the operations center, keith jones, nbc 10 news. Ups reached a settlement with 14 states including delaware and three city governments after allegations the company overcharged them. The suit alleges ups employees incorrectly recorded delivery times to collect payments from government customers. Even though their packages arrived late. The idea of egg mcmuffins all day long isnt what its cracked up to be for many mcdonalds owners. Some Restaurant Owners are calling all day breakfast, in fact, a nightmare. In a recent survey, franchisees blame a lack of grill space needed to make burgers and eggs at the same time. I dont think it should be banned without a doubt. I think they should have some type of rules and regulations, have a commercial license put in place. Under the plan, violators would face a fine of up to 500 for a first offense. Subsequent offenders could be slapped with a maximum fine of 1,000, plus possible jail time. Who is going to enforce this . Well, i mean the police will. The vote comes nearly two months after a lowflying drone prompted refs at a high school scrimmage to temporarily stop the game. But the mayor says the proposed ban was in the works before that incident. The biggest thing was the airport. Its the bad outweighs the good right now.
