I do think those areas will see strong storms first. When . After afternoon. However, the severe storms expected to start after 4 00 p. M. , potentially dangerous storms after 5 00 p. M. Until 8p p. M. You can expect heavy rain, hail, flooding, some strong storms, wind damage, downed trees and possibly some power outages. More details coming up. Denise, back to you. We have breaking news overseas. One person is under under arrest after a van plowed into a crowd of people in london hurting several people. Andrea what do we know right now. Reporter well, police not saying how many people are dead. Right now, they are saying there are casualties. The Muslim Council says a van plowed into worshippers leaving a nearby mosque. One person has been arrested. Remember this comes after two weeks after eight people were killed and dozens were injured after a van plowed into a crowd on london bridge. The attacks were carried out by three terrorists who were killed by law enforcement. Now, details in this case continue to emerge. No word yet if this incident is deemed terrorism. Tonight were getting the first look at the aftermath of a raging forest fire in porjgle. 61 people died, most died in their cars as they tried to get away from the flames as they jumped to the road. This is what it looks like. A lightening strike is believed to have caused it. Porjgle has declared three days of national mourning. Ferential this wildfire continue tuesday threaten homes in a small resort town in utah. Everyone in the town of brian hp head has been evacuated. The fire is dangerously close to some homes. A gunman opened fire into a group of people in myrtle beach, south carolina. A man in a fear by hotel captured it on his cellphone. It all started with a fight. I tend to believe children probably did die there. But you look at the evidence on the other side, i can see how other people believe nobody died there. We have an issued an alert for everybody across the entire viewing area. I do want to specify i78, i76 youll see the storms moving first into your direction. And then everything headed southeastward across the entire delaware valley. When after 12 00 p. M. I do think well see one or two statered showers earlier. But those thunderstorms sfart to fire up after lunchtime, severe storms after 4 00 p. M. Potentially dangerous storms between the hours of 5 00 p. M. And 8 00 p. M. Especially when that wind starts to travel over the piedmont and down through the coastal plain. Everything is to the west of us. We are seeing some damage reports. But right now what crime monerterring for you is this cold front. Keep in mind, temperatures today topped out in the 80s to 90s across our viewing area. So now we have a lot of warm air thats really muggy. As this cold air moves in this direction, eastward, it has to shove all that air. And thats when you see the strongest thunderstorms. Hour by hour forecast starting at midnight. Notice here temperatures are pretty much in the 80s. But we get this going from aurally tomorrow morn mgch and ill pause it at approximately 7 00 a. M. Notice we are seeing conditions just spotty. Still seeing that southerly wind. And by tomorrow afternoon, this is when we start to see those showers really start to develop. Those pockets of heavy do downpours. As i mentioned in the northwestern corner, 5 00 p. M. We see a really strong line of thunderstorms moving across the area. We are not done yet. I have another pause point here. At 8 00 p. M. Were seeing really strong storms especially if the jersey shore. So kooepd it will be pretty much a wild weather day, denise. Theres no doubt about that. I want to show you the severe Thunderstorm Risk issued by the thunderstorm storm predictor. We are under an enhanced risk. And what that means for us here is we do have the threat of potentially dangerous thunderstorms, especially after 4 00 p. M. But i really do think between the hours of 5 00 p. M. And 8 00 p. M. Is when we will see the strongest storms. And my biggest concern would be wind damage and possibly downed trees. Take it very seriously. So if people are out the door and see sunshine and calm, dont be fooled by that. Really. All the sunshine and calm, thats what destabilizes the atmosphere. Yeah, impacting the evening commute. Temperatures today topped out at 93 degrees in philadelphia. Notice these southerly winds right here feeding us a lot of humidity. And once we see a cold front sweep in, it will absolutely trigger a thunderstorm front. Lets go ahead and take a look at the satellite radar images. Tis is our local perspective. I dont expect this to get here for tonight. Perhaps a couple of showers moving through for parts of burke county, lee high valley. But mostly i expect conditions for tonight to remain mainly dry. But our first alert does show us having conditions at least pretty and here we are seeing some showers moving through from the northwest to the southeast. And were definitely seeing some thicker cloud. But we still have that southerly influence, which is why conditions will be so moist for tomorrow. Especially once that cold front sweeps on through, that really will trigger lots of thunderstorms. Tomorrow at 1 00 p. M. We start to see more showers moving in. But notice spotty at best. It really n about 4 00 p. M. We start to see those thunderstorms really fire up. And i do think well see some strong thunderstorms at 5 00 p. M. But i think well see dangerous thunderstorms between 5 00 p. M. And 8 00 p. M. Tomorrow. By 9 00 p. M. We start to see a little bit of a break but still affecting the jersey shore. So i do think this will be a wash out for tomorrow afternoon and for tomorrow evening. So woo do have a severe Thunderstorm Risk. In fact, we are in the advanced area as issued by the storm prediction center. So what does that mean for us here, it does mean conditions will be a little dangerous. Severe storms possible. We also do have scattered wind damage, damaging hail between 1 to 2 inchmizees. And i hate to mention this but sometimes when were looking at the capacity of these really strong thunderstorms, we b we could see a strong tornado especially for parts of the lee high valley.
