They also blocked this part of the street from frankford avenue to coral street. Now, a concerned viewer called our station, we called the city and before the city crew got out here, this hole caused some problems for drivers, but also brought the neighborhood together. Reporter pena told us her concern was for drivers and the children in the neighborhood. After we spoke to her, we called the philadelphia Water Department which came to check it out. Moments later a crew closed part of east clearfield street. Neighbors say east clearfield street is usually a busy street. Well see how this impacts traffic tomorrow morning. They also told us the Water Department will be out here tomorrow to independent this hole and find out how this part of the street collapsed.
