New at 11 00, a man hunt in south jersey forces neighbors indoors. This all comes after a deadly shooting that unfolded just before 7 00 in Burlington City. Reporter hours into the investigation Burlington City police are on their hands and knees processing the crime scene in the 100 block of east federal street. Officers say between four and ten shots were fired, killing a 24yearold man. A fiveyearold girl was also injured, but it is unclear how. An extensive search of the neighborhood was completed to no avail. The suspect is still on the loose. Reporter police say the shooter ran away. It was a tense couple of hours as a man hunt ensued. Residents were told to lock their doors as detectives combed back doors and wooded areas. At this time the area has been deemed safe. Reporter still many questions linger as the shooter remains on the loose. It makes me angry. It makes me very angry because my kids shouldnt have to live in fear. A man confronted his ex girlfriend at 49th and haverford. The woman didnt know her ex followed her home to south 55th street. Once in the neighborhood, the ex and three men with him started an argument with the womans neighbor and opened fire. The neighbors family then shot back. Have guns, bullets are flying and people are getting hit that have nothing to do with this, but yet young men who clearly have to resolve these situations in a better way. The exboyfriend and one of his friends are facing charges. The neighbors were not charged. Blue martini is open for patrons again after a man was stabbed inside the old city bar stabbed inside the old city bar early saturday morning. Police say an argument started just before 2 00 in the morning and the 33yearold man was stabbed in the neck. The man came out of the bar and then collapsed. Hes now in critical condition.
