Police say it happened several times over the course of the past school year, at the school, and her home. Nbc 10s Brandon Hudson has the story from lower gwinnett township. Reporter Police Paperwork says some of the inappropriate touching between the 40yearold staffer and 13yearold girl happened at this school in his Office Behind closed doors. At least six different times. We went to where he lives and met neighbors who were shocked by the allegations. At the address listed for marcus forte no one answered the door. But we heard a dog. The same one janice brown says she would see forte Walking Around the neighborhood. I used to quite often see him every morning when i went to work. Reporter janice told us she hasnt seen forte around the last couple of months. Now shes learned hes in jail for inappropriate behavior with a 13yearold girl who is a student at gwinnett mercy academy. He was nice. Im really stunned. Reporter a criminal complaint says the 40yearold who worked in the schools i. T. Department began sending suggestive facebook and Text Messages to the girl last halloween. In one text conversation the young girl told forte, you took hugs to the extreme today. Forte asked if that upset her and she said yes. Police also say the student would sit on fortes lap in his office during lunch where he would kiss her face and neck. The girl said forte inappropriately touched her and tried to make out with her at her home. When investigators spoke to forte earlier this month, he denied that he touched the 13yearold but then said it was accidental. Im flabbergasted, to be honest with you. Its sickening. Reporter a statement from the school says forte left before these allegations were made known. We still have the rain around right now and we could even see some rain around for the morning commute and even before it is that right. Heres a look at the radar. We still have some pretty heavy rain right around the philadelphia area. This extends up through parts of burlington gloucester camden counties. This is pretty heavy rain over the major interstates. Even through parts of Delaware County. And it does extend down into newcastle county. You see the yellows, oranges and reds here right around middletown up to wilmington. That shows us the heavier rain. Its all going to continue moving into parts of new jersey. I think were going to see it for a little while longer. Heres your morning forecast. By 8 00 a. M. The suspect is 40yearold paul kuzan. Last night police found the woman bleeding heavily in her neighbors doorway on willlets road in northeast philadelphia. She later died at the hospital and nieblsds kuchlt zan has a history of domestic violence. A heros homecoming. Christopher dormand left the hospital just three days after being shot seven times. Squad cars from across Delaware County followed dorman from the hospital to the follow kroft fire company. The 25yearold volunteered there since he was a teenager. Hes hant talked about the shooting but says hes grateful for all the support he received. I want to say thank you to everybody for being there for me and my family and my fellow brothers in blue. Everybodys support means a lot. I appreciate it. He says he cannot wait to get back to work though he still has more surgeries ahead. Tonight members of the hogs and Heroes Foundation stopped by so see him and wish him well. The Supreme Court hand down a decision thats being called the biggest Abortion Case in nearly a quarter century. The Nations High Court threw out a texas law that may have been the most restrictive in the nation. It required clinics where abortions are performed to meet the same standards as Outpatient Surgical Centers and doctors were required to have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital. The courts decision is prompting action in pennsylvania as well tonight. State senator daylin leach of Montgomery County wants to repeal a 2011 law which breerksz clinics to comply with safety regulations of Outpatient Surgical Centers. Leach says the law is forcing women and their families into desperate lifethreatening situations. 5 of the states 24 abortion clinics closed after that law was passed. Abortion and the constitution were the focus of a town hall at the National Constitution center tonight. Experts and advocates weighed in on current and future constitutional debates about abortion and they discussed the impact of todays ruling moving forward. It casts doubt on the student of a variety of similar laws in the states, but i think even more than that it us more than anything since 1992 about the direction of abortion doctrine going forward. The courts decision will affect similar laws in 12 other states, some now on hold because of court challenges. Stocks closed down again today as investors continued to grapple with the fallout of britains vote to leave the european union. The Dow Jones Industrial average and s p 500 ended their lowest since mid march. Its a continuation of the global selloff we saw on fri y friday. It was a most costly option for them but theyre going to be looking to the u. S. Navy to foot the bill. Concerns over Drinking Water flooded the Horsham Township Community center. More than 100 people turned out, some voicing frustration and fear out of whats coming out of their faucets. Township ozpishlz Council Members say their strategy is to get contaminated groundwater to safer plechlz theyve already had to shut down five of the townships 15 public wells due to chemical contamination from Firefighting Foam used at the old Willow Grove Naval air station. Ahead of tonights competition our own keith jones took a run at the course. Heres how he fared. Reporter on the banktz Delaware River in the shadows of the old peco electric plant blooifrnlthz, a twisted heart and an ominous release. I am aware that running this course presents certain risks including without limitation personal injury, severe bodily harm and or death. That is the face of a champion i hope. I ascend the stairs eager, anxious. How badly could this go . Reporter and in hindsight uninformed. The krouds loocrowd looks on. We strapped a gopro to my chest and off we go. It starts with the quintuple steps. I take my time because who wants to lose on the first obstacle . 20 feet later my clothes still dry. Next up the log grip. Basically you wrap yourself around it, and hold on for dear life. Miraculously, im still going strong. The third obstacle, paddleboards. Six paddles which i learned rotate on a center axis. Lets see that again. The waters warm. Refreshing. But unlike the american Ninja Warriors competitors you watch on tv we got to try the rest of the course for better or for worse. On the next try i get up to the salmon ladder. Its a loose bar resting on notched walls. The key, controlling my swing. Which i failed. I give it another go. A little more controlled. I make my move. All right. Next obstacle, same concept, free bar, you move along a track. Okay. The course is humbling. The last obstacle, this spinning wheel. You jump up to a bar, then transfer oto a wheel. Easy enough, right . But i learned too late that some are window panes. On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being easy, 10 being hard, id say it was a 10. But it was a blast and obviously a workout. Its easy to appreciate what it takes to be an actual american Ninja Warrior. I came, i saw, i didnt conquer. Reporter soaking wet, keith jones, nbc 10 news. But he did get really good at swimming. And as you saw, despite keiths best efforts he didnt make it through all the obstacles. So we decided to have an expert weigh in and offer some advice. Maybe for next time for keith. Jamie ron, better known as captain nbc, he competed on tonights episode and several other seasons of the show. He also coowns Pinnacle Parkour Academy in cherry hill where he trains Ninja Warrior hopefuls. Heres what he had to say about keiths performance and what it takes to survive the course. He did pretty well. First one he made it through the obstacle which is great, especially your first try out. The third just wasnt moving quick enough and fell out to the side. The main things you have to number one have a plan. Number two, have a backup plan. And then have a backup backup plan. Richardson of philadelphia must have had the right plan. Heres a look at the radar right now. We have rain mostly around the philadelphia area and into parts of northern delaware. Heres philadelphia and then were looking at Delaware County, also parts of lower Montgomery County and moving into new jersey. This area showing some heavier rabefall and that extends into parts of newcastle county. Some of this could still be round as we go into the morning xoout commute tomorrow. Also dont forget with your new neighborhood weather your sevenday forecast is always on the bottom of the screen for you. First headline we have storms in the forecast for tomorrow. The chance of some severe storms through part of the area too. Thats where you see this yellow shaded area. That shows us the highest chance for strong to severe thunderstorms. Its mainly going to be through the Lehigh Valley, parts of chester county, upper montgomery, upper bucks county. For tomorrow the threat of damaging winds, lightning and hail can exist with any thunderstorms that move in. We could see that through parts of the area. The timing, some of it will be early but well have more in the afternoon and the evening. Heres future weather overnight and into early tomorrow. The weather pattern stays kind of active. Well see showers, maybe some early thunderstorms. Thats 9 00 in the morning. South jersey and delaware. Wouldnt be surprised if it were spreading a little more through the philadelphia area. Then we go by lunchtime were still stuck in this rainy pattern. Spotty showers by 4 30 in the afternoon. We could see a line of thunderstorms trying to organize through the Lehigh Valley. And even another line through about 9 00 p. M. Moving through philadelphia into new jersey and delaware. But then the good news is we do clear up in time for wednesday. So tomorrow have the umbrella with you and if youre in the Lehigh Valley you could see those strong to severe storms. Then we go into 4th of july weekend. It will be hot but we could see also another chance for some thunderstorms across your 4th of july weekend. The whole weekend is not going to be a washout by any means but we could see one day where we have had some thunderstorms around. Ill show you that in a second. New jersey kind of spotty thunderstorms through the day Galloway Township 80 degrees if youre in dover 82 with those spotty showers. Staying in the forecast.
