The snow a little bit heavier in new jersey than elsewhere but its still mostly melting on the roads and will likely continue to do that. We do have a big midweek warmup, so its actually going to be feeling like spring this week. The visibility not all that bad as we look across philadelphia even though its snowing. 36 degrees. The visibility 8 miles. It can still snow for a long time and not accumulate with an 8 mile visibility. The wind gusting to 21 miles an hour. It is now snowing in pottstown, the temperature has dropped a little bit. Atlantic city snowing, so the snow closer to the coast is heavier. Its 32 degrees in wrightstown. The temperature has not dropped below freezing in a while. And there we go. By 7 00, 8 00 a. M. , everything is out of here. The sun comes out and starts drying things out. Now its going to be chilly and windy during the day tomorrow, not exactly feeling like spring, but we are going to be seeing improving conditions. So as we go through the rest of the night, more snow in new jersey, but ending west to east, and 7 00 to 9 00 a. M. , the last of it right at the coast. So the snow mainly in new jersey ending, 32 degrees for the low in philadelphia. 28 after its all over north and west. Clearing, windy and chilly during the day tomorrow. Wind gusting to 35 miles per hour. The 7day forecast, a cold start tuesday and then we start the warmup and look what happens by wednesday. 67 degrees. Then 70 by thursday. 70 by friday as well. But in the meantime weve got snow on the radar and you can see quite clearly where the heaviest snow is. Its from central delaware and to Cape May County where those darker blues are. That is where its heavy enough to accumulate. The rest of the area is very light and the temperature is at or above the freezing mark. So this is going to be the focus of our attention for the rest of the night.
