New from overnight, police are looking for two men who robbed a man in his home just after 11 00 on the 6600 block of heg german street in northeast philadelphia. Rbers pulled a gun on a man outside of his home ordered him inside and stole cell phones. A mother of four in philadelphia faces charges after police say she locked her kids in a basement for 12 hours as punishment. Nbc 10s matt delucia is live at the special victims unit in hunting park. Matt, tell us more about it. Tracy this woman is likely to face several charges including endangering the welfare of a child. We could see the children playing in the lobby doing well after police said they had been locked in a basement for 12 hours. This happened on east atlantic street in kensington. Four children two boys and two girls ages 9 to 13. One of them happened to have a cell phone that would only dial 911. That is how they called police. Firefighters had to break through a second floor window to get in and get the children out. At this moment the incident is believed to have been punishment for one of the kids stealing money. Shes a single mom going to school, going to would, trying to support her kids, you no he what i mean . Its very hard for a mother to do that you know . So i think that it just caught up with her. I was like whats wrong . I could tell by her facial expressions. Then her mom came out and was talking about, i dont raise thieves and stuff like that. Reporter now police said they did not find any bruises or any injuries on anyhht of those four children. A man accused of faking his death in a boating accident is scheduled to make a court appearance. Andrew vittle went missing. He turned himself in seven months later. Today Montgomery County jurors will hear about a case against kathleen kane. Was she in contempt of court when she fired an aide . She says the aide that was fired had testified in a grand jury investigation involving kane. That has to do with whether she violated secrecy laws by leaking information to the media. A Philadelphia City council man is warning people to look out for a scam. Callers say theyre from the Sheriffs Office and demand up to 500 for missing jury duty.
