It impacted a few Small Businesses and some residents. The next thing i know we were headed out the door. The big explosion, i was knocked off my feet. I could feel the heat. I heard the fire alarms go off and then i just ran to the back. Like i hit the ground really hard from just the explosion, the force hit me. Police say parler left her 21yearold quadriplegic son in Cobbs Creek Park so she could visit her boyfriend in maryland. Her son has Cerebral Palsy and cannot communicate. A passerby found him five days later in the woods. Hes now recovering. They plan to charge parler with attempted murder. And a judge will sentence a Delaware County teacher on child sex abuse charges today. Paul hoscrwender pleaded no contest to abusing nine students. Families of two 8yearold victims say they did not check his background. That would have shown similar abuse complaints in his past. New from overnight, police are investigating a shooting in south philadelphia. Investigators tell us the victim was shot in the shoulder on jackson street. He was taken to Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition. No word yet on a suspect or motive. First, the council now needs three people to sign borough checks in order to pay bills and former Council President paul muser says the District Attorney told him he cant be one of them. Brown says she plans to take the bags of shredded papers to the District Attorneys office sometime today. The attack in norwood comes two weeks after a coyote attack in saddle river. Saddle river is about ten miles away from norwood.
