Its cooling down and seeing thick fog in new jersey and parts of delaware, too. But not so much in pennsylvania as this live view from the loews hotel in center city. Toms river seeing dense fog this morning and zero visibility, in fact, in toms river. Its been very thick for Atlantic City, as well. Just improved in the last few minutes. Now, sixmile visibility there. But slowly getting thicker in dover, down to threequarter mile visibility this morning. Look at the temperatures. Back into the 30s for pottstown and 44 in northeast philadelphia at the airport and into the middle 40s right now in center city. Some spots of fog to start with but look at the temperatures climbing during the day and 61 degrees at lunchtime and climbing on this veterans day. So, were going to take a live look at some of our fog in some of our new jersey cameras. Route 42 freeway at creek road. This is in bell mar and a little bit of a blurry shot, there is some fog out there for new jersey drivers. Be aware of that. The live look at 476, the blue route right near ridge pike. Traffic in both directions but not accounting if any volume. Well see that later this morning and if youre headed up through the northeast extension through the pocono area, all the roads look great. Fire activity were watching in abington specifically on old york road. A building fire. We have a crew that is headed out there but being told by Montgomery County dispatch to have drivers avoid the area. Huntington road to get you around that and also on 76 eastbound for drivers this morning, right past the conshohocken curve construction blocking the left lane. Katy, mentioning the news were breaking. Firefighters on the scene of a fire at the ymca in abington. This just started within the past 30 minutes and we dont have many details at this point. I can tell you as katy told you officials want you to stay away from that area. The Abington Library is nearby and definitely some facilities where youll see traffic this morning. Youll have to take a different route if youre headed to those places. Were working to get information about the situation and matt delucia is on his way to the scene and well get a live report from him as soon as we can establish his signal. A series of fire breaks out at the six flags theme park. And the first fire in the utility shed and others popped up in the surrounding woods. Jesse gary is live outside the park in jackson and you just learned some new information. What can you tell us . Tracy, i have been making calls and the dispatch center confirms that fire investigators are checking into the possibility that one, perhaps all of these fires were intentionally set. Sky force 10 last night over the adventure off road section of this park where the initial flames were reported inside a utily shed. But four other fires burning. Firefighters had to cut through a fence to get close to those flames. No injuries and no animals hurt and all are safe inside the safari area. Plolice responded to a bizarre incident. Now, this is video of the Police Response we saw this from our camera at the wells fargo center. Officers say the man was dressed in eagles gear running through parking lots waving that large metal baton around. Police say when he was approached he attacked an officer and the officer wasnt hurt and the man was arrested and is facing several charges. Four People Killed in camden in the last 48 hours. The latest happened around 8 30 last night. Daniel damon was found dead two hours earlier and this follows the shooting deaths of two other people in camden sunday morning. We have new information this morning about last years deadly carjacking in the parking lot of a north jersey mall. The center which owns the mall tried to block the release of the Surveillance Video that shows the moment that 30yearold Dustin Freeland was shot and killed. His widow has filed a wrongful death lawsuit accusing the mall of reducing security to save money. Four men charged in that deadly carjacking have pleaded not guilty. Seven Football Players accused of hazing their teammates will not be tried as adults. Prosecutors say family court is the appropriate cases for the venue. The High School FootballProgram Canceled the rest of their season. The seven players are charged with crimes ranging from hazing to sexual assault. The teams head coach and four assistant coaches were also suspended. New this morning, a Police Officer pulled from a burning car is now telling nbc 10 exactly what happened during this ordeal. Officer mark kimsy was pulled from his burning squad car moments after it crashed. He was rescued by joe chambers, a ridley park volunteer firefighter who happened to be nearby and jumped in to help. He cant remember much because he blacked out after impact and suffered a concussion, but what he does know is that he is grateful that chambers was there. He is my hero, by far. I mean, if he wouldnt have pulled me out of that car, i would still be sitting in it. Like a steak dinner and id have to take him out. Moments before the accident, the 30yearold officer was responding to a call with his lights and sirens on and chambers isnt the only hero. 24yearold Daunte Johnson also helped drag the officer to safety. The two then rescued the driver of the pickup truck. A bird burglar may be on the loose in Cape May County. The attraction that is now missing from a local zoo and how the zoo has stepped up security. Plus, the debate in one local town over the beverages that parents drink at their childrens games. Theyre not sure why someone would steal him, but also added padlocks to the remaining parrot cages. Happening later today, a Chester County community will debate whether alcohol should be sold at a local sports complex. The United SportsTraining Center in West Bradford township wants permission to serve bill. The center was built 15 years ago under the condition it remain alcohol free and not just kids play here. The center says it has a lot of adult and they would also like to cater to parents who are at their childrens youth tournaments. We will see a completely dry and the low clouds that are starting things off are going to break for some sunshine. And that will boost our temperatures by 10 00 this morning. Well be in the middle 50s. Thats a quicker warm up than what we saw yesterday. In fact, the temperatures will keep on going through the noontime hour when well be in the 60s and then this afternoon, 66 degrees in philadelphia. Thats 3 00. Look at mt. Holly, millville and upper 6 os at that. Clouds will keep moving and during the evening hours, a chance of spotty showers. Rain showers are possible. Low cloudiness has come in keeping temperatures a bit warmer at Philadelphia International and 46 degrees and much of the area is chillier. Boat house row, the water looks like glass this morning and the schuylkill barely a breeze blowing and much of the area is calm. That has led to cool temperatures. Look at pottstown and doylestown and thick fog and the temperatures are dropping in camden county. 38 degrees right now and camden is 42. Voorhees and right at 42 degrees for blackwood. You see the clouds that have moved in overnight. Those will break and well see sunshine today and that will lead to a quick warm up. What we wont see today or in the next couple of days is this. This is cloud cover that is producing snow farther off to the north and west. In fact, the midwest into wisconsin seeing some steady snow right now, but that colder air will be arriving later this week. Just not today. Construction, though, if you want to get to 76 westbound from Spring Garden that ramp is under construction and will be until the end of the month. Two towns in new jersey are getting millions of extra dollars to help maintain bridges. Governor christies administration announced each county in the state will get 1 million. Now, in addition to that money, Cape May County will get another 1 million for repairs to ocean drive bridge and another 135,000 will go towards the berlin bridge in camdin county. Lockheed martin plans on opening two Lab Facilities in camden but without the tax breaks the company planned on eliminating the 250 million jobs. Lockheed isnt the only Company Getting tax breaks to bring jobs to camden. 700 million worth of incentives were improved for a Life Sciences company in addition to the philadelphia 76ers are building a practice facility with 82 million worth of incentives and an Energy Company called Holtec International received a tax break. This news from our Jersey Shore Bureau a scathing report from the Port Authority says Atlantic CityInternational Airport is in worst shape than any other Port Authority airport. The agency that manages the airport and the airport was covered in dirt and grime. The Ceiling Tiles were stained and the restrooms were in poor condition.
