This investigation is much more expansive than what has been previously reported but again, i cant talk about the specifics, the evidence, the facts, the names to date because the grand jury has been sworn, evidence has been before them. Reporter militants from the al qaeda offshoot isis are continuing their campaign to topple the iraqi government, now focusing on economic targets. A few days ago, the militants were charging toward baghdad. Now it seems they want to cripple the country, targeting an oil refinery which is the biggest in all of iraq. Also, fighting near the oil fields of kirkuk. We are told by Security Officials that the next target could likely be the baghdad airport, that the militants wouldnt actually have to take over the airport but just try and fire from afar rockets and mortars toward the runway and that might be enough to close the airport down. The government is not taking this lying down, however. The government is signing up thousands of new recruits to the army every single day. Problem is, many of those people who are signing up are sectarian. They are shiite militias who are putting uniforms on so that they can fight against this sunni enemy and also fight for their faith. Dont cry for me argentina the truth is i never left you its the passionate, unforgettable true story of one of the most powerful women in history, whose life took a tragic turn. Evita is a Tony Award Winning musical from tim rice and andrew lloydweber. A stunning new twist on this classic has made its way here to philadelphia. Here with me to talk about this new production, Caroline Bowman and josh young. Good to have you both here. Good to be here. Caroline, whats it like to play eva peron . Oh, my gosh. Exciting and hard and challenging and wonderful and all the adjectives in the whole world. Watching you describe it, i can see you playing the part. I just said theres a new twist to this classic. What is the new twist . Is there a new twist . The new twist is that there is a twist. Its not really your twist. Josh, you tell us. What is your twist . You guys are good. Josh, youre local. I feel like i really know you. Tell me whats it like being home but also then tell me about the twist, if you can. Its great being home. I have only been home for a day. I cant wait to spend more time around my home city. But the twist i think is that people who have seen this show before probably know the narrator of the story to be earnesto che guivara. We have reverted to the genesis of the way it was originally thought up to be by andrew lloydweber and tim rice, that hes just an everyman, the narrator. He is also part of the story and is one of the shirtless ones. Hes one of the people that needs her to succeed and needs juan peron to succeed in order for him to feed his family and stuff. Weve got that point of view. They have more of a relationship. It is kind of special. So you have this guy who needs her to succeed and weve got that need and i think that creates more drama. It really is a different perspective. People have been seeing this all these years but not only are you able then to attract millenials who havent seen it before but you have this twist. Maybe not twist, maybe its just a different take on the show. I think we definitely have a lot of new things that people are not going to expect, seeing our production. We have a lot of dance and tango, that kind of tells the story and is intertwined throughout. And its sexy and just new. You sold it. Thats a good note to end on for people who want to see evita. You can catch performances at the academy of music in Center City Philadelphia now through sunday. Tickets still available. Caroline and josh, thanks so much for coming by. I wish you all the best. We have the first alert day to tell you about because we are dealing with heat, we have a heat advisory in effect and today is going to be the hottest day so far this year, with temperatures pushing into the mid 90s. The heat advisory goes into effect in a few minutes from noon, lasts all the way until 7 00 p. M. That basically means you need to be careful with outdoor activities, drink plenty of water. There is the possibility of late night thunderstorms and late evening thunderstorms. A look at the coolest spot in our entire area. We are seeing a few cloud right now. Temperatures should stay in the 80s but it will feel hot throughout the entire area. A closer look at 8th and market, you can see folks Walking Around down there. Im sure its very hot outside. Temperatures at 89 degrees for philadelphia. Our humidity is at 40 . That humidity and our dewpoint is going to go up. The wind speeds right now, westnorthwest at 13 Miles Per Hour, gusting to 21 Miles Per Hour. So we are going to see gusty conditions as we head into the rest of the day. Your current temperatures across our area, mid 70s here for mount pocono, 83 in allentown, mid 80s already in trenton. Temperatures in mount holly at 86 degrees. Were at 90 degrees in Atlantic City, 90 in wildwood. So thats changed since the last time i saw you. We have bumped into the 90s there. 89 in millville, 88 degrees in wilmington. Temperatures in pottstown at 83. Heres your heat advisory in effect, mainly the i95 corridor stretching into parts of south jersey, camden, Gloucester County and northern parts of burlington county, included in that. Also stretching out to New Castle County. So what this basically means is that we are going to see hot temperatures and high humidity. That combination is potentially dangerous so please be careful. Limit your outdoor time if you can, drink plenty of water and fluids. This will stay in effect from noon until 7 00 p. M. Today and a closer look at our future heat index and our temperatures, we will warm into the mid 90s. It will feel a little warmer than that for us here in philadelphia. It will feel like 93 degrees in dover, 90 degrees in reading, and then it will feel like its close to 90 degrees for parts of allentown. Near record heat is what were tracking for today. Our average is 83 degrees. The record today is 96 and our forecast high is 95. So we are going to get pretty close to that record. Again, the hottest day we have seen so far this entire year. Live radar shot shows that we are looking at a little weather disturbance here thats off to the northwest of us. You can see its moving a little bit closer but we dont expect to see a chance of thunderstorms until we head into the rest of your late evening hours so a closer look here, watch the time stamp, 1 00 a. M. In the morning for thursday is when we will start to see a better chance of isolated showers, even potentially thunderstorms associated with some of this moisture that is going to move in. So overnight, as youre sleeping, if you hear really strong wind speeds, this is what we are going to be looking at. Thats going to continue even by 4 00 a. M. , we are still dealing with the possibility of thunderstorm activity moving in from the poconos throughout allentown, stretching into trenton and also parts of the city here, then pushing offshore there. So as we head into tomorrow, closer to 10 00 a. M. , we could see another round of thunderstorms and its mainly going to move in from the north and west starting at the poconos, stretching down into allentown. We will still see another round of hot temperatures tomorrow, close to 90 degrees, but it wont be quite as hot as what were dealing with today. Todays the peak in the temperature. So near record heat expected for us, not for the poconos. We will see temperatures in the mid 80s. 90 degrees in quakertown, 90 for doylestown, low 90s in philadelphia. Down the shore you wont see much relief. 91 in Atlantic City. Temperatures in cape may close to 90 degrees. 92 in vineland, around the philadelphia area staying in the mid 90s. 95 degrees for philly, close to that record of 96. 94 will be the high in chester and in wilmington. For today, hot and humid conditions, also thunderstorms expected overnight. Temperatures will range between 92 and 95 degrees. Your sevenday forecast again shows this is a peak with our heat. By the time we head into tomorrow, we will be at 90 degrees, a chance of storms again for your thursday. Drying out as we push into friday, 84 degrees.
