New from overnight, in Montgomery County emergency crews took nine people to the hospital after Carbon Monoxide filled a house along west airy street in norristown. Authorities say the gas came from a generator running in the basement. Police have not released information about the victims condition. Also new from overnight, the driver of this overturned car in West Philadelphia is now behind bars. Police tell us the driver was drunk when he hit a parked car at 54th and walnut and flipped his vehicle. Nobody was hurt. From the south jersey bureau, one person is dead after a crash in Camden County. It happened along route 42 in gloucester township last night. Police tell us the driver ran off the road slammed into a tree, was thrown from the vehicle and died. Police are investigating exactly what led up to the crash. A Camden County woman is marking memorial day weekend by keeping her fiances memory alive after he made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Yesterday, nbc10 sat down with Amanda Charney of collingswood. Her fiance Army Staff Sergeant marc small was killed in afghanistan in 2009. The 29yearold Green Beret Medic died in combat during Operation Enduring freedom. Charney later started a foundation in smalls memory. It is called small steps in speech which raises money for children with communications disabilities. Memorial day weekend marks the reopening of an historic bed and breakfast in cape may. The bedford inn is back open following a fire last year. The inn held a grand reopening yesterday. The owner rebuilt and restored the property after the fire heavily damaged it in january of 2014. The flames ruined antiques and the original wood framing that had been constructed in 1881. The owner tells nbc10 that the inn mean a lot to him. And through rebuilding hes learned it means a lot to the community which works to preserve its history. According to investigators, the beating happened after a boy reported a dispute with barnes at a gas station where both were trying to pump gas for spare change. A langhorn man is behind bars after Authorities Say he hit a Pennsylvania State trooper with his car. According to police, the trooper pulled over brent leone on i95 in bristol township, bucks county, last night. When the trooper tried to take the suspect into custody for an outstanding warrant, leone took off. He hit the trooper in the leg as he fled the scene. Police later tracked him down and took him into custody. This morning, police in gloucester township need help. Theyre trying to identify this bank robber.
