The email controversy around Hillary Clinton keeps making headlines and so does the run for the white house. Both will be the focus on meet the press this morning. Joining us for a preview is moderator of meet the press chuck todd. Good morning, chuck. Good morning, rosemary. Okay, chuck. This week Hillary Clinton responded over the flap about her private emails. What does the secretary of state say how she may make a possible run for candidate . Ill tell you this. A lot of democrats want to eliminate the word possible. They want her to hurry up and have an apparatus. They feel like she got caught flatfooted in this feeding frenzy. They feel she was a bit defensive, a bit lawyerly a bit too familiar to the negative ways that the clintons used to deal with feeding frenzies back in the 90s. Does that eventually turn voters off . Does that make hillary look too much like a candidate of the past and not a candidate of the future . We saw in our own polling this week a majority of the country already view Hillary Clinton as somebody more likely to implement and conduct politics of the past rather than look like somebody whos new and different and looking toward the future. And so when you respond to feeding frenzies in the same way you used to respond in the 90s it could become selfreinforcing. At a minimum i them democrats are looking for her to get writ of the possible, and get it announced and get a campaign up and running. Chuck todd of meet the press. Chuck, thanks so much. Thank you. Also for discussion on meet the press, the iran nuclear issue, whats obamas next move. Be with chuck todd over the showdown over iran.
