Just a short time ago, officials issued a warning that the weather could impact flights tomorrow. Officials suggest you check your flight status before going to the airport to make sure the flight isnt canceled or delayed. Meantime, penndot says it is ready for this storm. They held a briefing just minutes ago. Were told crews began spreading salt brine on highways and heavy traveled roads earlier today and will continue to do so. Penndot says it has more than 200 winter trucks ready to start salting once the snow begins falling tomorrow morning. They will stay out until the snow stops. Local governments arent taking any chances this winter. Bucks county bought highpowered generators that could be moved to keep Retirement Homes or homeless shelters operating during a power outage. In Montgomery County officials distributed nearly 60 new generators to towns with key intersections. Traffic signals went out, we had serious road problems as you can imagine. These 57 generators have been distributed to key municipalities based on key intersections throughout the entire county, so if the power goes out, those Traffic Signals can stay on. Crews installed new gps systems and radios in all Montgomery County plows. The preparations are under way throughout the area. Thats right. Philadelphia Police Arrested a Delaware County man for robbing and shooting a limo driver and killing him. 20yearold alonzo dilligard is charged in the death of Miguel Rodriguez ramirez. Dilligard threatened to kill the drivers fiance if the driver didnt hand over his money. The driver gave up 30 and his cell phone but police say that didnt stop dilligard from killing him. The victims family tells nbc 10 hed only been working as a parttime limo driver for about a week. New at 6 00 Philadelphia Police need your help to try to catch two men wanted for beating a man so badly he had bleeding 0 on his brain. Officers say the attack happened two days after christmas on Chestnut Street in washington square. Police say the attackers got into an argument with two men before it escaladed to violence. One victim was knocked unconscious for several minutes. Graphic evidence in pike county as the man accused of ambushing two Pennsylvania State troopers appeared in court. Prosecutors played Security Camera video of the attack on the two troopers. Doug shimell was inside the courtroom. It was five very long hours of testimony, mapping out the ambush attack that eric frein will now go to trial for. He was one of the u. S. Marshals that captured eric frein as frein walked outside an airplane hangar at an abandoned resort. Eric frein sat in court as he pointed to frein and told a sideline the courtroom he told frein to drop to the ground. When he asked, who are you . The man dressed in black replied, eric frein. Freins public defender wanted to know how his client got so banged up. He had injuries on his face. What were your concerns about that . Former philadelphia sports caster Don Tollefson decided he does want to proceed with a jury trial. He rejected a lastminute plea deal this morning. Hes accused of stealing more than 300,000 by selling fake sportsthemed tricks. A federal judge approved the sale of revel to the runnerup bidder. Glenn straub bid just over 59 million at the auction but now he didnt want the revel for that price. Straub immediately announced he was going to court to halt the sale to himself. The judge ruled that straubs most recent bid is still binding. From our Delaware Bureau dna evidence helps crack a ken the county cold case. Police arrested tyrone turcott, accused of raping a 14yearold girl in june of 2014. Last month police learned that dna evidence from this crime matched the suspect, leading to his arrest on friday.
