Meteorologist Michelle Grossman is keeping an eye on the radar. And michelle is the rain falling anywhere this morning . We have some spots that are seeing the rain. Parts of southern and central delaware and also extreme southern new jersey. Thats about it right now, but the rain will fill in as we go through the next couple of hours, and we may even see a little freezing stuff to the north and west. Heres a live look outside. Were looking at the pocono mountains. A cold start there. Everywhere else, were starting much milder than where we were yesterday. Up to 23 degrees milder in the mt. Poconos. We have the rain falling. You can see that on radar in parts of central and southern delaware, extreme southern new jersey. And this will begin to lift to the north and east as we head throughout the next couple of hours. Currently, temperatures are above freezing in those spots. 42 in millville. 46 in wildwood. 39 in dover. 48 in Atlantic City and that is good news. Now, to the north and west were still seeing temperatures below freezing right around 26 in pottstown. 22 in reading. 28 in allentown. So the question mark will be will the precip arrive before those temperatures rise . And if it does we could see some slippery surfaces, especially on untreated surfaces north and west. So futurecast as we go throughout time well see a sunday soaker an afternoon soaker, and especially in parts of delaware and new jersey thats where well see the heaviest rain and then the concern north and west will be this morning for that icy freezing drizzle, maybe and some freezing rain. So for today, by 8 00 35 chance for rain moving in. 10 00, well see that rain falling. And by lunchtime, 42 degrees. A milder day today, a rainy day today. And by tomorrow well see the temperatures drop the sunshine returns. It will be a windy one as well. Well talk more about that, coming up. Now to breaking news. The teen couple known as bonnie and clyde have been captured in florida overnight. Police say that officers found 18yearold dalton hayes and his 13yearold girlfriend early this morning in panama city beach. The teens were asleep in a truck that was stolen in georgia. Hayes is charged with being a fugitive from justice and is awaiting extradition back to kentucky. The 13yearold girl is now with the Florida Department of children and families. Police in other states have been looking for the couple over the last two weeks. During that time they were accused of stealing trucks and cashing stolen checks. Although they have been compared and called bonnie and clyde, they are not accused of committing any violent crimes. New from overnight in philadelphia, two people are in the hospital and a gunman is on the loose. A man and a woman were shot around midnight around adams avenue in the citys frankfort neighborhood. The man was shot in the face. Hes in Critical Condition, and the woman was shot in the chest and arms. She is in stable condition. Also new from overnight, a man is in critical but stable condition after a driver hit him while he was walking in the cobbs creek section of philadelphia. This happened on the 5400 block of baltimore avenue before 2 00 this morning. Police tell us that the driver did stop at the scene. No word on what exactly led up to the crash or if any charges will be filed. This morning, a Burlington County mother is behind bars charged with killing her newborn daughter. Its a story that we first brought to you as breaking news yesterday morning. Nbc 10s Monique Braxton is live in pemberton township. And monique, whats happening next this week with the investigation . Reporter rosemary this is the dark road where the 22yearold mother brought her little baby girl. You can see, there is a growing memorial here a candle is lit, stuffed teddy bears, a stuffed fish. Also, some flowers being placed here at the roadside. Someone also has taped ribbons, pink blue white, next to the post where police had marked their crime scene on friday night. Authorities say Hyphernkemberly Dorvilier of pemberton township recently gave birth. Nbc 10 reached out to the mothers family, but as you can see, no one answered our knock at the door. Dorvilier is accused of dousing the baby girl with an accelerant before setting her on fire on the road friday night. The child died at st. Christophers hospital a few hours later after being airlifted there. Authorities said dorvilier could have dropped the baby off at a Police Station or a hospital anonymously. Its all part of new jerseys safe haven law. Its a crazy world, you know . I wish she would have taken better action dropped her off at a hospital or fire company, called the state, police department, anything that could have taken care of the baby. Now, Police Arrested dorvilier. Shes being held on 500,000 bail. In the coming weeks, the medical examiner will be conducting an occupancy to determine exactly how the baby died. Also investigators are staying on this case because they want to know the circumstances surrounding the baby girls birth. Live for now in pemberton township Monique Braxton, nbc 10 news. After 11 hours, crews have repaired a water main break and water is running again to rooms at a very busy Center City Hotel. Around 6 00 last night, a water main ruptured underground, leaking water into the subbasement at the loews hotel at 12th and market streets. The hotels electric lines were down, so that meant no power or water for the guests. Hotel management told us that they were close to full occupancy. No water, no power, everything in the dark. And actually no heat either, so the rooms are getting a little cold but thats all right. Power was restored around 9 00 last night and the water started flowing about 30 minutes ago. 12th street between market and chestnut has also reopened. It was closed while crews made the repairs. We have some new information this morning on the condition of the woman injured when a temple student fell on her from eight stories up. Erica goodwins family says that shes been upgraded from critical to serious condition. Goodwin was hurt when 18yearold rebecca kim fell from a center city window thursday night. Kim died after landing on goodwin, who was walking below. Kim was a freshman at Temple University and went to high school in montgomery county. Police say she fell to her death after climbing out of the window to take pictures. We have some new video this morning from just outside of a gym in Camden County where witnesses tell us that somebody has pulled out a gun. They all had to be evacuated. A viewer sent us these images after Police Responded to the l. A. Fitness in summerdale. People at the gym tell us that an employee was working out there when some kind of altercation happened and he took out a gun. Again, officials evacuated the building and then police took the man into custody. Now to news in Lehigh County, where we are learning more about a deadly crash between a train and an suv. Authorities say 64yearold carol midei became disoriented before she turned on to the tracks on friday night and got stuck. An oncoming Freight Train couldnt stop in time and slammed into her car. And thats when we saw that it was a baby instead of a pile of poop or a brush. Reporter now, that witness also told us that dorvilier told him that the baby wasnt hers but the little girl with her umbilical cord still attached was airlifted to st. Christophers hospital and died two hours later. Dorvilier is being held this morning on 500,000 bail. The medical examiner will perform an autopsy this week.
