Do you have license and registration and identification on you, sir . He identifies himself as mayor of paulsboro of hamilton and he can be heard outside his vehicle and out after a series of sobriety tests on the shoulder. Can i call the mayor because were buddes together. Asking the officers to call his friend the mayor of woolwich township. Today residents in paulsboro are weighing in on it. He needs to be treated as we all are and he shouldnt be behind the wheel of a car if these drunk, intoxicated. We tried to track down hamilton at the township building, at his home and also by phone, but got no response. He married us last year so i have a little bit for him and i feel bad for the guy. Hamilton was arrested and booked that night on charges of dwi, but he has not appeared in court. And hes still trying to get out of it. Other politicians had similar instances and they took the punishment without any problems. Reporter while some resident residents in paulsboro would like to see mayor hamilton to resign we saw no formal request of that today. We will continue to try to track down mayor hamilton along with his attorney and in the meantime the mayor of woolwich township is also keeping quiet. Did the attorney general offer any direction for Police Departments during these tense times . Reporter the attorney general says he is just here to listen to both Law Enforcement and Community Members express their opinion on the matter and outside where the meeting is taking place right now there is a group of demonstrators expressing their opinion. There is also extra Police Officers on hand. Just a few minutes ago these demonstrators were chanting no justice, no peace. This is the fifth stop in cities around the country that eric holder has made for these round table discussions. We just left the building where he is meeting with Charles Ramsey and mayor michael nutter. It is part of the president s plan to build trust between Law Enforcement and the communities they serve. Theyre talking about what they can do to quell violence against Law Enforcement and increase the justice systems integrity. That geyser of water that rocketed up into the sky over one philadelphia neighborhood has finally been choked off. Among them, why was that water line flowing into an old, abandoned tank in the first place . Nbc 10s doug shimell spent the day in the neighborhood trying to get answers. Reporter the big mystery for the Philadelphia Water Department is why was a fully charged water line leading to an Old Industrial facility that neighbors say had not operated in decades . When the first repair crew got inside the building they found a hole the geyser had blasted through the roof. It froze everything around it. It started around 7 00 wednesday night just off grand avenue leaked for more than 12 hours. Because this is a private property and private connection the plans are not always available to us and we had to work on our plans and see what was feeding that line. A Philadelphia Water Department worker was injured and had to be taken to the hospital. It was extremely difficult to get close to it and thats what we were trying to do last night and we had employees in the immediate area and once the conditions became too dangerous we did have to leave that area. Reporter the utility says it had to shut off water to hide rabbits and sprinklers to finally stop the geyser. By early afternoon the Water Department says it was able to turn on the sprinklers and hydrants that had been turned off at a nearby Shopping Center and the mystery of how this was allowed to happen continues. Philadelphia police are trying to figure out why the driver of an suv rear ended a Newspaper Delivery truck. The driver of the truck hit the sidewalk and no one was hurt here. Philadelphia police are looking for two men who robbed the pizza shop in juliana park tuesday night. You can see one of the suspects ran into the restaurant and pointed a gun at the worker and demanded money. The other suspect on the lookout outside on the street. The pair of thieves ran off with some cash. Fire claims the life of a redding woman. Her home on Chestnut Street went up in flames around 9 30 last night. The fire burned for more than two hours before finally being brought under control. The victim was found on the third floor of the home alongside a dog that was also killed. The roof collapsed. One was vacant and the other occupied. The cause right now under investigation. The victims identity has not been released. And sky force 10 over a fire at a Mobile Home Park in gloucester count pep it was caused by a space heater. Three homes went up in flames and you can see the billowing smoke there. The flu outbreak is claiming more lives in delaware and were only half way through the flu season. State Health Officials reported two more flu deaths this week and that brings the total number of flurelated deaths to 13 in the first state. There were only six deaths during the entire flu season last year. Spokeswoman with the Delaware Department of health and social Services Says quote, were extremely concerned and we urge people to take extra precautions to reduce any possible exposure to the flu virus. So we dont really get to warm up very much and well get the cold northwest winds quite a bit and one of the computer models with the amount of rain shows much more toward the shore overall than what we see for the north and west. As a matter of fact, this particular model gives allentown and reading and lancaster practically nothing for sunday and it could be quite a variation across the area.
