Investigators say a teenaged girl slashed another girl in the face. The victim rushed to Cooper University hospital. The student with the knife was taken into custody. Right now, she is at Pennsauken Police headquarters. New at 4, learned a berks county neurosurgeon is one of a dozen people arrested in a child pornography sweep today. The berks County District attorney announced the arrests in the past two hours. Doug shimell was there. What have you learned . Reporter what detectives tell us is this is a culmination of a year and a halflong sweep that netted suspects from all walks of life. It was not welcomed news that her 22yearold son, william florianny, had been arrested by berks county detectives in a sweep of 13 alleged child porn traffickers. Im not gonna speak about it. Eporte District Attorney says defendants range in age from a 17yearold male juvenile to 65yearold gy co elect were containing pornographic images were seized. Neighbors tell nbc 10 they saw police at dr. Schwartzs home in Sinking Springs in recent weeks. Most of the suspects face charges for possession and distribution of child porn. When nbc 10 went to dr. Schwartzs home for comment, there was no answer. Investigators tell us that all 13ment ises have either been arrested or have turned themselves in. We dont expect Severe Weather for any of this for this evening. The Severe Threat will lie to our south. We will continue to see the rain and the drier air is not too far behind it. At the white house, a marine from South Carolina got americas highest military honor for his courageous effort in afghanistan. Two studies in the new england journal of medicine found people with this mutation have lower triglyceride levels than the general population. A new survey reveals people dont understand the disease. 60 of people believe alzheimers is a typical part of ageing while 40 think the disease isnt faithal. Police seized computers, cell phones and other electronics allegedly containing the child porn. Philadelphia City Council Approved a plan to lower the penalty for marijuana possession. If approved, anyone caught carrying less than an ounce of marijuana would face as 25 fine. Happened around 3 00 this morning, no one was hurt here, you can see the damage left behind to that building. The chimney literally blown apart. In chester county, lightning being blamed for destroying a house here but investigators respect sure if it struck the house or a tree first. In any event, it sparked this fire on mark road near East Friendship church road in highland township, a neighbor telling us you heard a loud crack before the fire. No one was home at the time. Some heavy showers right around baltimore, we have been watching these, a couple lightning strikes in these as well, they are moving in the direction of delaware so we will certainly keep our eye on these, dover, some rain moving closer to dover, just in time for the fire fly Music Festival, but it does appear to be light rain at this time. And this heavy rain does appear to be sliding just to the south of dover, so for harrington, could be around that area, by 6 15 if it holds today, 6 31, milford in delaware, look to the north, you see no rain, this is where the drier air is starting to move in.
