Tragedy on a local High School Football field tonight after the game. Breaking news right now at 11 00, a shooting at a local college campus. Two people have been shot at delaware state university. A fight broke out right before the shooting. The victims are expected to be okay. Various Law Enforcement agencies are on the scene. No arrests have been made. Only nbc 10 was there tonight as this man accused of trying to lure an 8yearold girl into his car went off to jail. Police say the suspects disturbing behavior did not stop when the little girl told him no. The man allegedly approached the girl in bucks county wednesday. Randy gyllenhaal is live at Police Headquarters and they didnt have to go very far to find the suspect. Reporter and it wasnt that hard to find him. Police say after he fled the scene, he got into two car crashes, flipped his vehicle. We caught up with the suspect with our cameras rolling right outside the police station. 22yearold juan perez juarez is shipped off to a bucks county jail. Bensalem police say he tried to lure an 8yearold girl into his car. When she said no he exposed himself, then urinated on the street in front of her. Hes a sick guy you know theres no explanation for people that act that way. But hes not going to do it on our streets anymore. Reporter the young victim ran to get her father while police say juarez left the scene, driving eradically. Drivers watched him hit a pole. The pole went flying across. And he kept on going. Reporter Police Caught up with him after he crashed into a parked car then flipped over a guardrail, causing injuries to another driver. Hes facing felony child luring charges. He is an undocumented immigrant from guatemala. And they say they hope he gets deported. Thank god he didnt touch her or get near her, because it could have been a lot worse. This girl did the right thing. Her parents did a good job and the schools did a good job training her. She didnt get in the car. And she basically told him no. Reporter they did test the suspects blood for alcohol. New at 11 00, a little girl is fighting for her life after a dog mauled her. [ dog barking ] this dog was removed from cobbs creek neighborhood. The dog attacked and mauled the childs head. Officers called to the scene acted quickly. The responding officers did not wait for fire rescue to show up. They took the baby immediately. And theres no doubt in my mind that their actions saved that childs life. The child is in critical condition. The grandmother tried to protect the girl and ended up with bite marks to her hands. The dogs fate will be determined by local animal control. Tonight a 15yearold student is dead after collapsing during practice. Ryan gilliard was a freshman on the st. Joes prep football team. He collapsed this morning during spring workout. He was rushed to Temple University hospital where he died. At this point, its unclear what caused his collapse. The school released the statement this afternoon saying ryan was a great person and someone we were proud to have as part of our community. We will do whatever we can to support his family and friends, especially the members of the freshman class and football team. A woman will face charges in an intentional hit and run that Philadelphia Police say stemmed from a love triangle. The white suv that was used to hit Beatrice Spence was found this morning in fern rock. They believe the suspect was the romantic rival. She waited for the victim to come outside her nice town home and ran her down. Spences leg was severed, and she remains in the hospital. Spences mother rushed to the hospital, leaving food cooking on the stove. Their home caught fire and was destroyed. The name of the hitandrun driver has not been released. Two families say theyre still waiting for justice in two deadly hitandruns. Loved ones held a member or twralial service for a 4yearold. The car hit him and drove off monday night. Police know who the driver is, but shes not yet turned herself in. About an hour after that crash another driver hit a toddler and his mother in kensington. 2yearold david alicia later died. They figured out who was responsible, but so far there is to arrest no arrest in that case. Its a terrible loss in both families. And we need justice. People need to step up and help us have closure. The woman who police connected to that crash who killed wilson has hired a lawyer. Its unlikely she will turn herself in over the weekend. Well a little taste of summer today. Fire burned through a building on the Atlantic City express way. You can see the smoke coming from a storage shed behind a gas station in hamilton township. Today workers started demolishing the iconic Philadelphia International records building. The Historic Building on broad street served as a longtime headquarters of kenny gamble and leon huff.
