That rain changing over to snow on future weather by 7 00 8 00 in the morning, a good portion of the area seeing snow. If youre in new jersey or delaware, your temperatures are just above freezing possibly with rain and sleet changing over to snow. Along i95 it will be snowing and on the wet snow side. It will be kind of sloppy snow tomorrow morning north and west we do expect a snowy morning commute. Some areas could see 6 to 9 inches south of philadelphia. Parts of the area will be seeing pretty significant snowfall compared to what we have seen so far this season especially. Areas north and west dealing with heavy rain around the allentown area. About you now were starting to see some of that heavy rain changing over to heavy wet snow. Were seeing that approaching the allentown area through the poconos as well starting to see the changeover to snow. Maiden creek turning over to an icy mix and potentially heavy wet snow trying to develop in parts of burks county. Well watch this through tonight. Well expect all the rain to be changing over to snow. We have a winter storm warning out for almost the entire area. Most of the area from tonight until 7 00 p. M. Tomorrow evening. Because of the accumulating snow and the time this will be coming for of the morningny again, hazardous travel. Be very careful as youre heading out tomorrow morning. Were going to be looking at roads with snowy conditions and its all going to be streaming in from the west to southwest. A long weather system a lot of moisture in it and a lot of snow that has to make its way through the arewpy were starting with right now, we have the rain around we have rain changing to snow in the higher elevations. Now we go into the 1 00 hour 2 00 in the morning, we should be seeing pretty good snowfall areas near the Lehigh Valley chester, montgomery also bucks county, we should start to see the transition over to snow. And approaching the philadelphia area by 3 00 4 00 in the morning. The transition continues in the philadelphia area continues moving south into new jersey and northern delaware by 4 00 a. M. We will continue to slowly see that line moving to the south. The peak area you see by 8 00 in the morning, through extreme south jersey possibly Cape May County and parts of delaware that would be sleet and ice at this point. Well see the transition over to snow. So this area may really see it last. But either way, everyone will see something during the morning commute. Now i zoom out a little bit, we go into the afternoon hours, and this area of snow continues pushing to the south. By 5 00 p. M. We should really see a lot of the area clearing out of this. It will mostly be the first half of the day. As this snow starts falling and during the morning commute, heavy wet snow is very likely since temperatures will be right around the freezing level. Low visibility at the time this is falling. But it does end by the evening rush for most areas. So at least its going to be good for the later part of the day. Not so much in the morning. As far as the snowfall totals are concerned, we could see two to four inches north and west. Thats going to be the lowest amount. In chester, montgomery parts of bucks county closer to philadelphia, were looking at possibly four to seven inches. It could be the fine line where we see some of the highest snowfall totals. Maybe up to nine inches through parts of south jersey and northern delaware. So either way its going to be some of the most snowfall weve seen so far this season for much of the area.
