Her mothers boyfriend was babysitting him yesterday in their upstairs apartment when he rushed into the Doctors Office in a panic. The toddler limp in his arms and bruises all over the boys face and body. He said the boy fell in the bathtub. She took over from there, performing cpr. His color was bad. His color was poor. His pupils were dilated. Reporter 31yearold daniel graphton told investigators he was bathing the child, stepped away for a few minutes and found the toddler face down in the bathtub. According to the affidavit, it took graphton an hour to seek help from the time he said the toddler fell. The condition of the child was just mind blowing. Reporter neighbors who didnt even know the 2yearold say theyre angry and feeling the loss. Its devastating. I dont understand how anybody in their right mind could hurt a child. Reporter dr. Sutton who hired the toddlers mother when she was pregnant with him, wishes she could do more. Its going to be hard to go back to that same place. Reporter the 67yearold man was rushed to the hospital after suffering chest pains, this after police say he struggled and fought with that suspect before shooting him. An upper darby Police Officer moments after he arrived on the scene of a Deadly Shooting Police are calling selfdefense. Detectives say a 67yearold man took on a robber and things turned deadly. You saw somebody laying in trail. Reporter saul lives across from the park where the shooting took place. He had just gotten home when he noticed a mans body sprawled out on the ground. I called the r. A. Hes not saying anything. So i called the police right away. Reporter it all happened around 2 30 this afternoon in cobbs creek park. The 67yearold man was walking along this trail when a masked man wielding a gun and a stick ran up and demanded money. Police say the suspect put the gun in the victims face and thats when the victim who was licensed to carry pulled out his own handgun and shot the suspect once in the head. The older guy didnt get hurt. He did the right thing, protecting himself. Its a very dangerous park down here. Reporter police eventually learned the gun the suspect used was a pellet gun. They say it doesnt matter because the victim rightfully believed his life was in danger at the time. I personally spoke with him. He was very upset that this incident happened. But at the end of the day, i dont see any criminal charges whatsoever. And to be quite frank with you, i think he did what he had to do. He had a real gun, the bad guy didnt have a real gun. The victim won. Reporter now, tonight were told the 67yearold is expected to be okay. Meantime police say the suspect is in his late teens or early 20s. However, they have not released his name. Police say trevor parhan told him he was still a Police Officer when they pulled him over in lower marion back in october. The collin Police Department has fired parhan on two different occasions, once in 2013 after he tasered a 16yearold boy who was shackled to a bench in a holding cell. Today a judge sentenced Jonathan Garcia to more than 17 years in prison, his onetime partner joannis could serve more than five years. They faked arrests and ripped off cash and drugs from dealers. A south philadelphia family is in the middle of a deportation battle. Immigration officers detained jaime on january 14th. It stemmed from a dui arrest a year ago. Each of those trains potentially dangerous, and each one passing not only the densely packed areas in the middle of the city but also miles and miles of our suburbs. Last night the new york train crash looked like a fireball. Three days earlier in south philly 11 oil tanker cars derailed. Two unrelated incidents, tonight highlighting vulnerabilities on our rails.
