Reporter Surveillance Video from a nearby business shows cars passing the la parrillada chapina food truck and flames shot 200 feet into the air shaking homes, businesses and injuring 12 people, two critically. A girl was walking by from the line and her whole back got sprayed with debris. She was screaming up the street, im on fire, i want my mom, i want my mom. Reporter officers from septa police heard the explosion from their building across the street and were the first to get to the scene to help. Police say a mother and daughter were working inside the truck at the time of the blast. Woman lives over in the house here was able to get me a blanket to get the other woman in it and get them away from the truck that was still burning. Police say Karen Thompson left the children for at least 20 minutes while she went inside a Port Richmond shop rite. We spoke to a mother whose 6monthold was inside that suv. I dont want her to go to jail and then i dont have no one to care for my child. This is the only person that me personally i feel is trustworthy enough to keep an eye on my child. Police say the kids were checked out at the hospital and are all fine. He may have been cashing his mothers Social Security checks. Police wheeled this deep freezer out of the home with the 83yearold womans body in it to prevent decomposition. The medical examiner will try to figure out how she died. My daughter, they called the police. Reporter her daughter is married to the grandson. Her daughter called police after the son, william, allegely called and told her what happened to his mother. He said that shes she had died instantly and he put her in the freezer. Reporter she had a feeling something was wrong at the lee street house. Because he wouldnt let her in the house. Reporter police say william is a pizza delivery man. This is his car parked outside the home. We were there as police towed it away. I was very surprised, like i was at work, like upset because i mean, when you know people, you dont expect stuff like that to happen, you know . Then its like, oh my god, somebody you used to talk to, say hi to. Reporter neighbors couldnt believe what happened. You, your wife were just talking. You havent seen the woman for a while. We thought that she was sick or something. Reporter east detectives say they are still looking for william, now, the initial investigation shows no sign of any trauma to his mothers body. A bucks county man is behind bars tonight accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl he met on a social media app. Police say Michael Dougherty met the 16yearold girl on an app called whisper. The girl told police he offered to help her run away from home. He met the girl at the Neshaminy Mall sunday night and took her to a motel. That is where he allegedly beat and sexually assaulted her several times and left her there. Officers arrested dougherty yesterday. Surveillance pictures show two suspects wanted for robbing a liquor store then assault two workers on the way out. Happened at carpenter liquors in wilmington sunday. The owner and employee caught the two stealing alcohol but the suspects sprayed them with pepper spray and got away. Trentons new mayor shook things up on his first day on the job. Mayor eric jackson fired four Department Heads including the Police Director ernest perry jr. , will replace ralph rivera. Perry is a former Trenton Police officer. Rivera was part of former mayor tony macks administration. Mack is now serving a federal prison term for corruption. The federal trade commission came down on tmobile accusing the company of billing customers for millions in bogus charges. The sixmonthold bear was rummaging through the trash when it pulled the entire cookie jar right over its head. When rescuers arrived the cub got scared and ran up the tree. Then as we go toward fourth of july, friday, thats when were going to see Tropical Storm arthur get closer to us and could be category 1 hurricane. It is expected to stay a little farther offshore. The heat threat for tomorrow, all the counties shaded in orange here, this is a heat advisory. Counties north and west of philadelphia, along the i95 corridor through new jersey and northern delaware, heat advisory from noon to 8 00 p. M. Feeling near 100 degrees when you factor in the humidity. So do not be outside for long periods of time. If you dont have to tomorrow during those hours. Aside from the heat tomorrow, were going to watch afternoon storms move through. By the afternoon hours. Anywhere between about 4 00 and 6 00 p. M. Does look like the prime time for this. A line of storms, some of these could be strong to severe, some high winds, heavy rain, lightning. As we go into thursday, we have heavier rain moving in. This will be more of a scattered shower and storm event. Possibly some storms, but you see all the heavy rain thursday afternoon. This could lead to localized flooding. As we go into friday, noon friday, you notice a lot of rain offshore. That would be arthur, so the best chance for the most rain will be right along our shore points, delaware beaches. Now we look way town to the south. This is Tropical Storm arthur spinning around the northern bahamas off the east coast of florida. The track takes it along the eastern seaboard, possibly strengthening to a category 1 hurricane, but a cold front will approach from the west. That will ultimately push it away from the area, but, again, well have at least a period of rain through part of the area. So future weather here shows us the rain in green. As we get closer to friday, the storm gets closer but, again, this cold front pushes it away. Either way, we do expect increasing winds and seas. Mainly at the shore and this would be most likely friday afternoon, but then it quickly moves out to sea and we really clear up as we go into both saturday and sunday. Fourth of july forecast, best chance for rain at the shore. North an west, mainly dry. L l 4 degrees. Along the shore, the morning rain definitely in the forecast. Tonight, warm and humid.
