Plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the 80s. Now clouds and rain are moving in just in time for the workweek. A live look tonight at the center city skyline from our camera atop the adventure aquarium. Light rain is moving in and may stick around for your ride to work. Meteorologist Brittney Shipp is here with more on those changes ahead. The changes have already started. We saw clouds moving in. Rain is already pushing in to parts of reading and up to hamburg. This is a part of the larger disturbance that is moving to the east. Its going to move right through our area. I want to point out some of these thunderstorms here, this line of thunderstorms you can see its losing its intensity as it continues to track to the east. We could see a few isolated thunderstorms for tonight. But this is really light rainfall on and off as we head into your overnight hours. Closer to 4 00 a. M. Around 3 00 a. M. Youll see some of the heaviest rain from trenton into south jersey and into wilmington and the north of allentown. But it is going to linger for your morning commute. So what you can expect to see is wet roads and you are heading to work tomorrow. As we head into your lunchtime hour, well see another round of showers so you definitely need your umbrella. Even by 5 00 p. M. , on and off rainfall. And this is just the beginning of a stormy pattern that is going to last for most of your workweek. This is monday at 11 00 p. M. Still dealing with rain coming down for trenton. Isolated downpours. But mainly light to moderate rainfall expected. Not talking about a washout for the entire week. For tonight, temperatures at 64 degrees. Well see showers and mild conditions. As we head into tomorrow, a little cooler. Todays high 84 degrees. Tomorrow, 74 with showers expected on and off throughout the day. Ill let you know when were finally going to clear out of this stormy pattern coming up. The latest on a developing story in las vegas. A Police Ambush and shooting spree leaves two Police Officers and three others dead. Plis say a man and a woman walked into a pizza parlor and shot two Police Officers who were having lunch. Then they ran to a walmart across the street and shot and killed another person. They got into a gun battle with police before killing themselves in an apparent suicide pact. During the attacks, witnesses say the suspects yelled this is a revolution. Our officers did come in contact with suspects at which time gunfire took place between the officers and the suspects. A short time later, more shots were heard. Preliminary appears the female suspect shot the male suspect, then took her own life. Tonight the bodies of the two officers killed were escorted by police motorcade to the medical examiners office. Officers allen beck and igor were pronounced dead at the hospital. The names of the suspects and the other victim have not been released. New at 11 00, its a second largest construction project in penndot history and it could affect your commute if you travel on i95 in philadelphias fish town areas. Penndot is rebuilding and widening the gerard avenue interchange and three miles of i95 northbound from ray street to allegheny avenue. Nbc 10s tim fur long is live along the i95 in fishtown. Tim . Denise, i95 will be a whole brand new road with new on ramps and bridges. Its going to be a long few years waiting for it to happen. If you drive on the stretch of i95 from jer toward allegheny, enjoy tomorrow mornings rush hour. Its going to look a bit different and move a bit slower. Driving on i95 in philly isnt exactly a picnic on a normal day. But monday night its going to get tougher heading north on i95 after gerard. Penndot has a plan under way to replace a threemile stretch of i95 and adding a fourth travel lane in each direction. This next phase starts tomorrow at 212 million by itself, the second largest construction contract in penndot history. Its going to tighten things up for commuters. The current half mile Construction Zone becomes two miles long and shifts traffic away from the median. In a couple weeks theyll do the same to the southbound side. But we all know whenever traffic patterns change, commutes get longer. I think ultimately its going to be a good thing. It just might be painful in the short run . Probably. Be extra careful with these changes youll see overnight monday into tuesday. Give yourself extra time and just try to keep telling yourself how great its going to be when this project is done in the summer of 2018. Its not helping. Thats a long way away. Tim furlong, nbc 10 news. Now the latest on the 495 bridge closure thats affecting thousands of drivers in delaware. Officials say they are almost done removing a massive mound of dirt suspected of causing the bridge to tilt. Thats the first step in getting the bridge repaired and reopened to traffic. The process is expected to take weeks if not months. It was closed last week after engineers deemed it unsafe. Good news for drivers who take the platt bridge. Roadwork that could have affected tomorrow mornings rush has been completed ahead of schedule. The bridge was shut down friday night for repairs and was expected to be closed until tomorrow but that work only took a day. And right now traffic is once again moving on the bridge. Comedian tracy morgan and two others remain in Critical Condition tonight. And a georgia truck driver is facing charges in that crash that killed morgans friend and fellow comic. Kevin roper surrendered to new Jersey State Police last night. Hes charged with assault and death by auto. Authorities say roper apparently failed to slow for traffic early saturday in cranberry township. He swerved at the last minute to avoid a crash and slammed his big rig into the back of morgans chauffeured mercedes limo bus. It set off a chainreaction crash involving a another truck, an suv and two cars. Fellow comedian Jimmy Max Mcnair was killed. Morgan is expected to remain hospitalized for several weeks. He had surgery today for a broken leg. He also suffered a broken femur, broken nose and several broken ribs. A spokesman for the former star of saturday night live and 30 rock says morgan is also more responsive. His assistant and another comedian also remain in Critical Condition. Tonight police are looking for a masked man who robbed a bucks county cvs and claimed to be armed with a hand grenade. Police say the robber walked into the cvs pharmacy en route 113 at county line road in hill town township just before 5 00 today. A pharmacist says the man was holding a dark object in his hand and claimed it was a grenade. He got away with an unknown amount of pills. Police blocked the two entrances to the stores parking lot while they investigated. No one was hurt. A love triangle ends in a stabbing at a south Jersey Convenience store. It all started when a woman used a tracking app to find her estranged husband. It happened at the wawa on the blackhorse pike. Saeeda davis tracked her husband to the store and confronted a woman from new york who was in her husbands car. Police say davis punched the other woman and that woman shenandoah goldsby started swinging a knife. The fight spilled from the parking lot into the store. Another person got dragged into it as well. During the fight, a gas attendant attempted to splitted up the two females. He was stabbed in the arm. Both women and the 18yearold attendant had to be treated at the hospital for cuts. Both women have been charged. A shooting outside another wawa in Camden County sends one man to the hospital. Witnesses tell nbc 10 the two men got into a fight over a girl at the wawa in winslow township. They arrested lameen adams after he took off in his car and threw his gun out the window. The 26yearold victim is being treated for a gunshot wound to his leg. Still ahead a deadly road rage shooting on a busy philadelphia street. What police say led to the violence. A man is dead tonight and a woman critically injured after someone opens fire on a car on roosevelt boulevard. Tonight, police are questioning a man about the shooting. It all started around 11 00 last night in philadelphias feltonville neighborhood. Nbc 10s Monique Braxton has more on what led to the violence. We heard the gunshots and the motorcycle pulling off. Reporter feltonville activist Marshall Lockhart heard seven gunshots half a block away just after 11 00 saturday night. Investigators say a 43yearold man was shot to death here at fifth and roosevelt. His 31yearold female passenger was shot twice in the stomach. Shes now listed in stable condition. Lockhart also tells us what he saw when he arrived on the scene. The driver exited the car and everything happened after he got out of the car. And the girl exited the car, too. She was shot. And then we heard all the motorcycles take off. Obviously, one of them didnt get away because this bike was still in the street. Thats the one they chased up in the bushes. Reporter one man is in custody. A gun has been recovered. But they dont believe that person is the only one responsible. Sources also say the incident began when the deceased driver didnt allow a group riding motorcycles to get in front of his buick sentry. Youll see the rain centered over philadelphia and south jersey. 6 00 a. M. , closer to the shore. Also parts of toms river and trenton. So not as much of a worry if you dont live closer to the shore. In this week on capitol hill, the house and senate are Holding Hearings on the deal that freed Sergeant Bowe bergdahl. As nbc 10 National Correspondent brian mooar explains, they say they are still getting stonewalled by the white house. Reporter there are new reports Sergeant Bergdahl told his medical team he was tortured, held in a cage and tried to escape. Members of Congress Learned those details from news reports, not from the white house. With respect to escape, no information but rumors with respect to being tortured, this is the first ive heard of that. Its going to be very difficult to validate but thats not to say theyre not absolutely true. But we werent there. Reporter members of the house and senate are Holding Hearings this week, furious they werent consulted on the trade of bergdahl for five taliban leaders. One of them has already vowed to rejoin the fight. Im not telling you that they dont have some ability at some point to go back and get involved. But they also have an ability to get killed doing that. 30 of those released from guantanamo have reentered the fight. We certainly havent been able to kill all of them. Reporter lawmakers want to know more about bergdahls disappearance, but questions about desertion will have to wait. Bergdahl is fine physically but struggling psychologically and so far hes chosen not to call his parents. The fbi, meanwhile, confirms it is investigating threats against bergdahls family. Officials say the attackers were disguised as police guards. They were armed with machine guns and a rocket launcher. It was used for vip flights and cargo. All the passengers were evacuated. The pakistani government says the attack was carried out by ten militants, although no one has claimed responsibility for the fivehour siege. Five families of the passengers aboard the missing Malaysia Airlines flight want to offer a reward to get information on the plane. The families are looking to raise 3 million through a crowd funding website to put toward the reward. Flight mh370 disappeared three months ago with 239 people on board. After the search, we were able to locate the vehicle as it had obviously moved down with the current of the water. Reporter rescuers rushed to get the driver out and revive him but it was too late. Right now his death is being investigated as an accident. It took nearly an hour before the car was pulled out of the water. A symbolic celebration of the 70th anniversary of dday in france. The little girl who bravely battled cancer and questioned why there was no cure for kids like her. She set up a Lemonade Stand so she could give the noun a childrens hospital. In twint 04, alex and her family appeared on the today show challenging the country to help her raise a Million Dollars for cancer research. I think if enough people help with donations, then i think we can do it. Two months later, alex learned the foundation not only reached her milliondollar goal but surpassed it. She died shortly after age 8. This weekend marks ten years since alexs lemonade challenge and next week her former first grade classmates will be graduating from high school. She was somebody who was always positive and upbeat. I always admired her. She was so mature and wise. Her story inspired others living with cancer. Katlyn was diagnosed with lymphoma last year. Im going to be having my own alexs Lemonade Stand. And all of the money is going to go to support pediatrics. Today alexs foundation is going strong, raising more than 80 million in helping fund hundreds of research projects. Alexs parents liz and jay scott said alex would be proud of all they have accomplished. This is an incredible day for us as a family. And im just amazed. Im just amazed. So thank you.
