These numbers will be climbing very quickly as we go through the late morning hours, especially by lunch time. Expect to already be in the 60s by then, maybe even upper 60s. Well take a look at the forecast for the afternoon, the record high temperatures and the warmup continues tomorrow afternoon, too. Lets get a check of the roadways with Jessica Boyington. We are watching an accident scene that happened around 3 15, about 45 minutes or so in Montgomery County on limerick on west ridge pike. This is 76, 13 minutes from the blue route to the vx. Watch for the bridge closure on the falls breath thats closed for rehabilitation work until april. Take the city avenue bridge for now. For the rest of the area bridges, i checked in with the tacony palmyra and the Burlington Bristol. No scheduled openings or no problems on the walt or the ben heading into philadelphia. Breaking from overnight, cars go up in flames and quickly spread to a building in calbwin, Delaware County. Katy zachry is live near the scene. How did they get control of this fire. Were hearing from firefighters it was not easy. The big concern is all the people that lived just blocks from here. Just cleared from the scene, many of the firefighters from throughout dell elle county who responded as backup. What youre looking at is the area that was an allout inferno a few hours ago. Heres video from the sky. Our ground crew could not get close because of safety reasons. This video captures how big and threatening this fire was. In began in the ellis Business Plaza near 5th. Several cars first caught on fire and spread to 15 of them total. The fire spread to a nearby building. People living just a block from here were forced to cover their faces. The smell was so overwhelming. Amazingly, no one was injured. Coming up at 4 30, youll hear from the chief on scene about a serious issue they encountered while fighting this fire. Reporting live in colwin borough, katy zachry, nbc 10 news. A violent day in philadelphia leaves six people dead in a matter of hours. These murders happened in six different neighborhoods across the city. Skyforce 10 was over one of those killings in north philadelphia. Police say someone shot two men along north van pelt street. One died and the other is in critical condition. In point breeze, police say a man who crashed his motorcycle had been shot. Officers found the victim lying next to his bike near 23rd and morris, about 8 00 last night. This morning, investigators are trying to figure out if the man died as a result of the crash or the shooting. So far, police have not made any arrests in any of the murders. A man Police Arrested in a deadly stabbing spree in West Philadelphia will face murder charges. Police say the suspect attacked three men at different locations along baltimore avenue. The last victim died after he was stabbed in the chest. Nbc 10s George Spencer spoke to a witness and the police, both puzzled by the violence. The guy who stabbed him had walked up behind him and swung him around and stabbed him and walked off. Just like that . Just like that. Clearly unprovoked attacks at this point. Were not sure what the motivation is behind this. Police arrested the suspect nearby. They say he still had the knife. The two surviving victims drove together to the hospital for treatment. New from overnight, a fire in lower marion Montgomery County send two people to the hospital. Were hearing the fire started around midnight in the bedroom of a home on rainham road. No word on the cause or the condition of people who were hurt. Decision 2016. Donald trump keeps rolling for the republicans and on the democratic side, big wins for both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. Frontrunner Hillary Clinton won the mississippi primary and the most delegates overall but Bernie Sanders scored an upset in michigan. In the republican contest, donald trump won primaries in michigan and mississippi and the gop caucus in hawaii. Ted cruz came out on top in the idaho primary. Trump told supporters in florida last night, he is the survivor of a stiff competition. We started off with 17, were down to 4. Of the 4, theyre pretty much all done. Okay . Pretty much. Watch out for new construction, north and southbound on 95 its going to be one lane between allegheny avenue and girard avenue. And also we have some of those ramp closures from 95 northbound, also aramingo and a new one at cottman avenue, the off ramp from 95 northbound. Closed until 5 00 this morning. About another hour or so for that cleanup. One lane between allegheny and girard. Possibly delays hned that. Out in Montgomery County, theres an accident in limerick. Heres 422 doing great here so far. No problems with the drive times yet, eastbound from 29 to the schuylkill expressway is a nineminute trip. Average speeds in the 50s or 60s. Opponents of a controversial symbol on the Mississippi State flag are taking legal action to try to get it removed. 15 years ago, state voters decided to keep the confederate battle emblem on their flag. Mississippi is the last state to have the emblem. A lawyer who filed a federal lawsuit claiming the emblem is unconstitutional and a danger to africanamericans led supporters at the State Capitol yesterday. A South Carolina lawmaker who saw his own state flag with the symbol removed last year had a message for mississippis governor. Urging to exhibit true leadership, not leadership in name only. I dont think that the lawsuit will go anywhere. I think the judge will look at this as a state issue. Flag supporters like that last man believe the confederate battle emblem is a symbol of history and heritage. A mayor in bucks county is blaming a Marketing Tool for worries over the Drinking Water in his township. Hundreds of flyers labeled professional Water Services recently showed you on door steps in bensalem. These pamphlets urge home owners to leave out water samples for testing but the fine print says the company is not associated with the Water Company or the health department. Lately challenges with tight budgets mean having to think harder to find a way to keep the classes going. And i love it and i love it a few years ago here at the Franklin Learning Center in north philadelphia, there werent enough instruments to go around. They sought out donations as a way to fund the Music Program there. One group thats been helping schools throughout the country, called little kids rock, theyve worked with schools around here giving them donations of instruments and equipment. Its critical to help out schools that are struggling to keep the arts in the classroom. Theres a lot of research on the connection with social and emotional learning. Students who participate in music are more likely to participate, show up to school, more likely to do better on standardized tests. More importantly, it allows them to express themselves in ways they wouldnt have otherwise been able to. Headed eastbound towards 95, no problems right there. And the full stretch on the vine street expressway from the schuylkill to 295, just under a fiveminute trip. Heres the schuylkill, average speeds in the 60s. No problems on 95. Well go over some of the construction when i come back in a few minutes. For right now, lets check out the blue route. 15 minutes southbound from the schuylkill to 95. The area bridges, no real problems or delays right now.
