Pastor and members say theyre not sure what theyre going to do, where theyre going to worship on sunday, especially days before christmas. Witnesses tell us this was one intense fire. It was a fire coming out of the building. The front of the building fem. The homes behind the church have some damage out here as well. One fire fighter was injured further back. Happening today, the pennsylvania budget is facing a deadline. House republicans are threatening tom wolf. They say he has until 12 30 this afternoon to get the votes he needs to pass. If he doesnt, republicans say they will vote on an interim spending plan this weekend. Pennsylvania has been operating without a budget since july. Philadelphia schools will have to close. The superintendent says philadelphia schools could run out of money january 29th without a budget. Yesterday they told parents have to think about what to do, if the schools cannot stay opened before january. The motivation is for them to start thinking of what they could do with tear children if it ends up happening. Philadelphia schools have oto close, 130,000 stooupd students would be sent home. Today the commission will consider the contract. They propose an extension for Superintendent William hite. The chairperson says hite has been a strong leader and they want to insure the continuity of that leadership. Philadelphia police are questioning the death of an 82yearold man stabbed in his home. They say they found the knife. The son was home. They took him into custody. Neighbors say the victim had recently become terminally ill and his family was caring for him. They say the emails were not offensive and did not warrant discipline.
