We have construction and youre looking right now around 16th street. What you can see here lane restrictions where they are funneling traffic off before they get to broad street. The vine street closed between the schuylkill and broad until about 5 00. Well have updates as soon as they lift these restrictions but the rest of our drive times are okay. Overnight police raid in a paris suburb has killed at least two suspected terrorists, there are also several under arrest. Were getting word up to four Police Officers have been injured as well. Look and listen to the gun shots captured by the onlookers. So why are investigators targeting this area . They believe the the orchestrater of the attack is holed up and based on an update its believe there had is still one person inside the apartment. The identity of that person is unclear. Moving to this. A connection to the u. S. , two air france flights departed last night, one from los angeles and another from washington, they were diverted and forced to make emergency landings because of threats against the aircraft. Everyone on board made it off safely and the fbi says there is no evidence to suggest that either of the threats is credible. That is blocked off right now while this fire it was blocked off initially while the fire was raging and is still blocked off as crews are in the cleanup process. The fire is out. They are touching hot spots making sure they have all of the flames out. Firefighters were on ladder trucks at the height of this hosing from above while others worked from the ground. Police in Montgomery County are looking for a robber who assaulted someone early this morning. It happened around 1 30 on gray wall lane in lower merion. Were not sure what happened. Police havent told us and havent told us what was taken. The victim was not hurt. So far no arrests. Today counselors will be at a middle school in New Castle County after authorities charged a former choir director with sexually abusing a student. Police arrested gary smith at his home yesterday. He worked at h. B. Dupont middle school in hockessin. Police say he was involved in a sexual relationship with a 13yearold student from 2010 to 2012. It was just reported this past september. Police say many of the offenses happened on school grounds. The School District helped with the investigation. Its deeply disturbing. Its a very difficult time for red clay. Smith is charged with 27 counts of rape among other charges. He is on paid leave and is on jail. This Morning Police say there is good reason to believe this missing College Student from Montgomery County is armed. Out of precaution officials have closed the college that he attends in maryland. Heres the story. Sources tell us that nbc 10s sources tell nbc 10 that jacob was last seen at this walmart monday morning buying ammunition. He is a sophomore at Washington College in maryland. Safety officials there say he previously told them that he felt, quote, persecuted after students pulled pranks on him in october. Three weeks ago they got a tip about him having a gun and found an antique rifle and revolver in a house. He was suspended until a psychologist cleared him to return to school. But police say he left campus sunday night and went to his parents home where he took a rifle case. We do not have evidence that he has threatened students, the campus, the community here. He obviously is a troubled young man, we hope he comes home. We hope he calls his parents. Washington college in maryland is closed until further notice. Pennsylvania state police searched for marberger by air and turned up no new leads. Happening today, four high ranking lawyers in the Attorney Generals Office will testify. The panel is considering whether the suspension of kanes law license prevents her from doing her job. The panel has already heard from legal ethics experts about the limited work that suspended lawyers like kane are allowed to do. The state Supreme Court suspended her license to practice law after she was charged with perjury and conspiracy for allegedly leaking secret grand jury information. Today the university of delaware could have a new president. The schools board of trustees will meet to take a vote on that. And the Search Committee is made up of 15 people. This is what police found in two hotel rooms reportedly used by one of the suspects in the attacks, one of the suspects still on the run. Authorities say he used his credit card to pay for the rooms where he stayed with an accomplice. Forensics teams are analyzing the items to see if they were used to make explosive suicide belts.
