The offduty officer, he is okay at the time he was wearing plains clothes but he did have a weapon on him and he did mention to fire a couple shots at the robber. Police tell us the gunman ran behind a parked car for cover and then ran away. They do not know if he was shot or not. In the case he was shot they put out an alert to hospitals. The officer who was held up is a fiveyear veteran of the Philadelphia Police department before that he was an officer for two years in upper derby. A house fire in with mington, a firefighter was injured. The chief says the firefighter was injured in a flashover in that basement. The firefighter is expected to be okay. A man died after stepping out in front of a Freight Train in berks county. The coroner tells us that man walked in front of a moving train. A federalup sent two more of those iron workers to prison yesterday. Prosecutors say this was all part of a scheme by ironworkers 401 to pressure builders into hiring union workers. We have new information into the investigation of a Philadelphia Veterans Affairs office. The va Inspector General is widening its review now looking at two Senior Leaders for potential misconduct on capitol hill a House Committee herd testimony from an office. The panel questioned several whistleblowers who worked for that department. The hearing also looking at allegations of big payments to executives. New information in the Atlantic City casino crisis. Investigators say she cut up his body in plastic containers for several years even after she moved to another house. The judge sentenced her to 55 years in prison. And i truly believe that danny and myself were guilty of this. Burrows lawyer claimed that her husband pushed and chased her during an argument and thats what led to his murder.
