Prosecutors say brian meehan had sex with a teen 20 times at his office. And its sentencing day for elementary schoolteacher paul hochschwender. In january he pleaded no contest to charges of sexually abusing nine students in two school districts. The families of two 8yearold victims said the district did not check his background to show similar abuse complaints in his past. 16 minutes after 4 00 now on to the atlantic casino crisis. The sale of the bankrupt revel casino is expected to be finalized today. Yesterday a judge formally approved the 82 million deal between revel and glenn straub. The casino opened in 2012 and cost more than 22 billion to build and sold for 4 cents on the dollar. Today a hearing is scheduled in the fight between caesars Atlantic City and the man who wants to build up the pier shops at cedars. Bart blastine said they took over caesars last fall but we are told he never actually signed the paper to take over caesars. According to a new poll this morning, the majority of people polled in new jersey say senator menendez should keep his job unless convicted. 58 say he should remain in office until proven guilty. 34 want him to leave his job immediately. Today governor Chris Christie will host a town hall meeting in middlesex county. Kentucky senator rand paul is expected to announce his bid for presidency today. He is the second person or will become the second person behind texas senator ted cruz to announce his campaign. Those showers could bring us some thunderstorms late tonight and into tomorrow morning. During the day, lots of clouds and occasional light showers with temperatures that will be mild. Highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s. It will be cooler this weekend, but we will be drying out saturday morning. The last showers come through saturday morning. We just found out about this crash in lower merion city avenue and north 53rd street not too many cars in that area so its not detouring traffic too much. If you are traveling on the schuylkill expressway theres a lot of green out here. If you are traveling between the blue route and the vine 12 minutes. The same if youre heading in the westbound direction. And on 295 at black forest pike im still watching the construction project right now on the northbound side blocking the exit ramp. Chris . In Montgomery County today, penndot is hosting a Public Meeting on a bridge removal plan in pennsburg. Officials are looking to get rid of the main street bridge over the Reading Railroad track. Construction is scheduled to start next year. Well, the party is over at one new jersey university. A new ban now in effect at rutgers. Well tell you what is not allowed for the rest of the semester. And tax freedom day. Thats when one person has earned enough money to cover their tax bill. Well tell you where that is this year and it may surprise you. And all house parties have been banned at the university. House parties will be off limits for the rest of the spring semester.
