These troubling new lead results turned up as a result of the water policy. The fountains are being shut off. No water coming from the drinking fountain in jeremiah brook high school. In the bathroom, signs tell people not to drink the sink tommy chang send this letter to the School Community saying seven schools in six School Buildings had at least one water fountain with lead concentrations that exceeded the federal action levels of 15 parts per billion. New results indicate higher levels, likely due to testing conditions in the summer that did not reflect typical fountain usage in the school year. And these schools were not the only ones tested. Heavy rainfall in the lowell carlisle, tewksbury, wilmington, and right on boston road we have the heaviest of the downpours. And rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour. And no lightning, just pure tropical rain thats coming down. You know about the extreme drought area. That goes back to 99. Where is the downpour going, and the good news is we had thunderstorms over the past few days, so making a little bit of a dent. The downpours have been strange today. Why are they rotating . Why are we talking tornadoes . Theres been no lightning really . The warm front has been moving through. And usually theres a lo we had no instability, very little. So no lightning or hail, just a chance for tornadoes. We look to the west and we have thunderstorms moving across pennsylvania and new york state. And well be tracking those in the overnight. So looking at these moving to the east. By 6 00 in the hudson valley. And moving into eastern new york. By 9 00 getting into western massachusetts and connecticut. And i think most of our opportunity for overnight showers and thunderstorms will morning. Likely not widespread Severe Weather but a chance for beneficial rain. And you might get woken up by thunder and lightning. Temperatures in the 70s and dew points in the 70s. Its going to be muggy when you go to work tomorrow morning but well dry out. From northwest to southeast. The winds will turn around and well bring in the drier air. Starting to feel it at lunch. And by evening, much drier. Its going to take the whole day.
