A bus crashed shutting down the left lanes in both directions. A truck driver involved and one student were Early Morning fire forcing a family out of their home near pineville, this is the scene before 2 00 this afternoon. Firefighters say when they arrived on scene, they could see heavy flames ripping through the home. The family was able to get out safely. The cause is under investigation. A man who rushed into a home is speaking out. Cross, who served four years in the marines, was driving on east stage coach trail in fallston sunday night when he heard the explosion and saw flames. Early voting in North Carolina starts tomorrow. All nominee races will be decided. The congressional races will be held in june due to redistricting. North carolina primary was moved from may to march, and if you are voting early in North Carolina, you will need to show a form of id. Voters who challenged North Carolina congressional districts are challenging the states new maps. They are asking a three judge federal panel to reject the new map claiming it doesnt fix the issues that led to the original map being struck down. We have more on this latest challenge. Congressional primary gets moved back further. It used to be in march, then june 7 after the lines were redrawn a month ago, now that they are redrawn again, it could push it back further am attorneys say the replacement map redrawn in february is not better than the last one at all. They argue the lines were manipulation of district lines. A federal panel ordered a new map drawn in february after legislators put too many black voters in the first and 12th districts. Thats why this all started. This map is supposed to be used in june. Now the lawsuit is calling for the judges to reject the new map and redraw the boundaries again. As far as the satellite and radar, heres that front that immuned through. That is well out to sea taking the clouds and rain with it. We have a Beautiful Day out there. Highest elevations, you do have a couple clouds. Didnt have a lot of snow, still a gray day, and cooler, cooler for everybody compared to yesterday. High pressure is in place am that moved through yesterday and brought the rain last night, and the big change in temperatures. This new High Pressure system is pulling in behind it. It is pulling our wind out of the north. That is all there is to it. Pulling in the cool air, it will stay around for a couple days before we warm back up. We will warm it back up again, maybe the end of the weekend. The next couple hours, temperatures from the low 50s all the way to the mid 50s by 3 00 or 4 00. Probably not going much above that, though, we at least get to enjoy the sunshine, but warm temperatures, that is not really in the forecast today.
