We dont live in a bubble. We live in a society that has every race, creed and color. This parent believes in what cms wants to do when it comes to creating more diverse schools and thinks since academic achievement is the goal all should do their part no matter the sacrifice. Schools not performing as well as other schools should be helped in whatever way we can help them. Dall yeah decided to kip her Neighborhood School. He wants to be an engineer. There are so many opportunities to have your child grow. This mother. You are meeting people not from your neighborhood. This mother wants other parents to join her journey to skip their Neighborhood School. George is buying bottled water now after one house out of five tested in his neighborhood came back with an elevated lead level. The nationwide utilityless inc. Says when they restefted results came back below the epa level for his neighborhood and two others. Theres no issue with Water Quality or the water source most likely the lead comes from household plumbing. Now, the utility is telling customers to run the water 1530 seconds before each use. It is not enough to satisfy rice or some of his neighbors. Shouldnt there be something as soon as they had seen something drink bottled water because we have seen elevated testing until further notice. That would give us a heads up. And notices are going out now to the neighborhood that is weeks before the state deadline. The homeowners affected directly with the elevated lead levels they were called immediately and weeks ago. The retest happened within days. It was completed within days and we know now that the utility will have to undergo more sample testing in the future to make sure there are no more problems. And just into the newsroom, we got word of a wastewater spill on norman shore road. That spill into lake norman.
