Current condition in charlotte, 54 degrees, light breeze out of the west, excellent visibility, humidity level high at 97 , the dew points are in the 50s after last nights rain, we will dry appreciably through the day. Humidity level coming down. 8 00 temperatures mostly in the 50s here, after daybreak and lets roll on this and show you at lunch time well up in the 70s and by late this afternoon, were talking about temperatures in the upper 70s near 80. In mind with the days getting longer and of course with eastern daylight time, often times the highs arent going to be at 3 00 or 4 00, might be at 5 00 or 6 00 as the days get longer going forward. High pressure is building in, that will be with us through the day. Plenty of sunshine, that high will move offshore tomorrow, then turn our attention to this weak boundary, not much of a rain maker, a few showers tomorrow watch how this comes eastward and rain disappears. Bigger thing with this it will cool us down. This is a reality check coming our way, High Pressure builds in, dries dry thursday and friday. A low will move to the east of us late in the weekend, that is why you will see cloud cover saturday and sunday, and a small chance for rain but more importantly our temperatures fall in the 50s for highs by sunday and overnight lows in the 30s. The average last frost is the first week of april. So we have to watch this and ive mentioned it before, record was april 28th, 1928, a trace of snow and as late as the 25th of march we had as nine inches of snow. We did it march 25th in 1983. It can get cold around here still in march and april. Hasnt been of late but it can and probably will turn much cooler going forward. Average high, 63 and 39, take a look at numbers, no where near average the next two days but inch back thursday, we start to really fall back as we go in the weekend, overnight lows in the 30s for three straight nights and highs will only be in the 50s to low 60s, saturday, sunday, monday. Lots of sunshine the next several days, more cloud cover saturday, small chance of shower saturday night into sunday, very small chance unless something changes dramatically. 5 45, check in with chris, update, first alert traffic.
