suspects run from police. >> it is a tragedy that has police and neighbored upset. melinda roeder is live tonight in northwest baltimore. melinda, how did this man get caught in the middle of a drug bust? >>well the elderly man and woman were in the car, parked by the stop sign when suddenly another vehicle came crashing into them. sending them through a neighbor's yard nearly into a house. you can see part of the fender. horrific ending to a police chase along gwynn oak avenue. >> it is tragic. >> joyce fuller can barely believe what happened right here in front of her home. >> they were going so fast, they hit the car broadside. and knocked it into my yard. they had to be going as fast as can be. >> police chase ended in tragedy as a elderly couple's car thrust through the burks across the yard into her deck. tearing down steps and a fire hydrant along the way. >> it is unfortunate scene. you know, people just stopping at a stop sign, and they don't have no idea what is coming at them. >> the car that crashed was driven by two drug suspects fleeing from police. >> the officers observed a suspect vehicle and a possible drug transaction as they attempted to approach the car, fled off at a high rate. >> both suspect centers a criminal history of drug charges, handgun violations and even assaults. >> and after the crash, police say the suspects never tried to help. instead they tried to run. but police caught them. >> they got the guys. >> that's not at all they got. >> we were able to get 38 grams of heroin from the vehicle. >> and as investigators process the crash site, joyce fuller's thoughts are with the elderly man that died. >> he did not ask for them. >> and the woman that remains in the hospital front it is rough. >> now, the victim has been identified as 86-year-old albert david, we know he is the father of a baltimore city police officer. the suspects are brent mathews and umar bradley, 39-years-old. both expected to be charged with in the brooklyn park area. under operation dragon police seized more than $3000 worth of cocaine, $3000 worth of marijuana, a gun and cash. 21-year-old davis of brooklyn park is still at large. >> nina tarkovskaya and they are asking for the help to find the killer. >> it was news that took nina tarkovskaya's neighbors by surprise. >> it hits home closer. >> a tight knit russian community in the 100 block of slate avenue, stunned by a neighbor's disappearance. so long ago. now, word of her discovery, her body, identified. >> i am very thankful that at least they identified that it is her. i mean, unfortunately she is not alive. which is very sad. >> tarkovskaya was last seen may 202006. she left her home on slate avenue, late that night. to buy cigarettes. police say she made that purchase at the now closed maria's restaurant lounge and carry out in the 11, 700 block of reisterstown road. investigators say tarkovskaya used her credit card here, at about 1:00 that morning. then about two hours later, police got an emergency phone call, to a location. not far from here. >> police found her van on cockeysville road, someone set it on fire. but the woman was not there. her husband filed a missing person report. then about two weeks after that, two kids found a badly decomposed body in a wooded area in owen's mills near pleasant hill and colgate roads. no one knew it was tarkovskaya until now. police are calling the 4-year-old case a very unique investigation. >> it actually took almost three years of forensic work getting some dna from family that we could find in russia where she is from and positively identify her. so it has been an unfortunate are long length of time for things to happen. but now we're at a point where we're investigating it as a murder. >> after a shooting in glen burnie. arrested lewis edwards. police say he shot another man in the parking lot of a super fresh along ritchie highway friday night. edwards faces several charges, including first-degree murder. the victim in that shooting is expected to be okay. >> the family of a paramedic killed in a 2008 medevac crash is suing the federal government. the family of mickey lippy is asking for $15 million. the lawsuit claims the federal aviation administration was negligence in the crash. lippy and 3 others were killed when the chopper went down in district heights back in 2008. was other people that, you know, other people that got theirs, and he showed a video people that had their lpn and they were working. but it was other states. not maryland. and then he played the tape. and it was realistic. >> so much so it was enough to convince her to sign up for classes. >> then started to heard presumes it so i did not go back. >> but had paid out money. >> former students tell me from the first time they stepped foot inside of this bogus school they found themselves forking over big bucks. fifty dollars for orientation. hundreds of dollars for books. but investigators tell me it was how much associated medical academy was charging for classes, where it was truly cashing in. >> i think, it was in the thousands. i remember thinking 5000 or something like that. but i know it was like, i think 600 a month. >> and the end result, a worthless piece of paper. >> when we visited the academy today. no one came to the door. yesterday one worker told me she was unaware of the charges against the academy. and its owners. the attorney general's office continues to build its case, one student is just thankful she did not lose more than $50. >> i could not afford it. i was in baltimore county is a major success. the county began the program back in february. since then t has seen 33 percent rise in recycling. there is also been a 4 percent decrease in the amount of still a breeze out of the northwest. looking at the hd radar level two no precipitation to talk about. dry conditions right now. and the clouds are breaking up. few high thin clouds but you could see them dissipating over the state. without any cloud cover, temperatures will drop again. through the overnight. and as the temperatures drop. we will see temperatures in the lower 40s over the central portion of the state. around the metropolitan areas of dc and baltimore. out lying areas, frost advisory again. kind of like last night. until 9 a.m. we will see the temperatures down to the mid 30s in some areas. lower 30s along the maryland pennsylvania state border. so continue to see this cool temperatures out there. 54 degrees in baltimore. 54 in d.c. 37 in western maryland. through the day tomorrow, we will see beautiful day setting up with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s pushing into the low 70s. and then it will warm up for the weekend. details with that in the seven day. coming and i said it is coming. >> you always get those questions? >> yes, i do. my neighbor ron, i am telling you. it is coming. >> you hear that ron. >> watching for it. warmer temperatures coming our way. and the good news is that it will be pretty much for the weekend. which is nice. weekday temperatures. and normally we're inside with work and everything. but it looks like we will see some warmer temperatures as we go into the weekend. which will feel good. looking at hd skycam. 49 degrees. clear skies. and temperatures will drop quite a bit. especially in the outlying areas outside of the city. so that's why we have a potential for more frost popping up around some spots around the state. winds out of the west at eight. and humidity levels at 48 percent. now, around state, you can see the blue indicating the frost advisories. this will be until 9:00 tomorrow morning. and this includes areas to the north of us, harford county. as well as northern baltimore county. carroll county. howard county. folks back there in frederick and points west. and then also in northern virginia. and it is until 9:00, because the sun starts to rise and warm up the air out there. but nonetheless chilly out there. in fact, looking at the future temperatures here on the future scan. temperatures dropping down tonight. and we will see them dropping down to the lower 40s. and, i think, it will get down to the 30s out here. model data shows lower 40s but i think mid 30s out there to get frost developing. and see the temperatures back by lunch time. around in the mid 60s. and then bump up to the lower 70s for highs tomorrow. which will feel good. here is what it will look like across the state. across the region. temperatures in the mid 50s. 40s to the north of us. and we will continue to see a warm push of air from the south. what is one of the determining factors of that is area of high pressure that is building in through the next day here. and replacing this low pressure, is high pressure. this low pressure is counter-clockwise rotation, drawing the cold air out of canada. all across the new england and mid-atlantic. that's what we have been experiencing for last couple of days. but what is shiftning behind that, is an area of high pressure that starts to drag in the southwest flow of air, that will change things up quite a bit toward the weekend. looking at the future scan. you can see not a lot of activity going on out there. dry for the next couple of days. feels good actually. and we will continue to see the temperatures increase as well. 71 tomorrow on the eastern shore. plenty of sunshine. still breezy out of the northwest at 10-to-15. and for tomorrow, across the central portion of the state. right around 64 to 70 degrees actually, depending on where you are. and we probably still more warmth as we go through the day. and then 67 out there in western maryland. once again, high pressure is off to the west that will help us warm up. and warm front that builds in from the midwest. and that will help the temperatures go up as we go through the next few days. next chance for rain is probably at the end of the weekend. with the chance of showers and thunderstorms. cooling down to 40 degrees. and looking at the temperatures. warming through the day tomorrow. around 70 degrees it will feel good. and we will see plenty of sunshine and your five-day forecast shows 83 friday. 88 on saturday. sunday looking at a possibility of 90. maybe a pop-up shower or two. and monday a chance of showers as well. >> mcdonald's happy meal tradition is ban in one california county. elected leaders in sana clara banning happy meal toys. and other promotions that come with high calorie children meals. the reason?
