can i have dinner at michael's house? they're having meatballs. don't be back too late. you know it gets dark when they shut off the lights. okay. i can stay. you know, you can just buy the sofas and take them home, today. for a limited time, get up to 15% back on select seating. >> and welcome back.e. the time is 5:36. the sun is coming up. beautiful shot from ocean city right there along the boardwalk. it will be a great day at the beach. if you are watching us on cable, you guys picked a good one. 75 downtown. humidity still in that comfortable range. top of the hour, winds were calm. that's the key to our forecast today. it will still be in that range like it was yesterday. a hot day, yes, but the humidity not as oppressive. area of low pressure down to the south. that will be drifting over us. we also have this back door cold front coming across pennsylvania and new york state. we have showers across new jersey and back into new york state. i think that will stay far enough away from us. certainly the high, thin clouds could drift into our neighborhood. even the clouds in the system to the south could make it in here. in between the two, we should wind up with a decent day today with sunshine and temperatures again sneaking into the lower end of the 90's. without the humidity, it won't feel bad. 65 in parkton. dew points running in the 50's. that's comfortable. when you get the dew points into the mid to upper 60's, that's when you feel the humidity. that probably won't come in until later tonight or during the day tomorrow. mostly sunny, hot but not too humid. high temperatures will climb into the lower end of the 90's. sunset at 8:33. if you are taking the boat out, it will be a nice one. wave height around one foot. bay temperatures in the low to mid 70's. next high tide at fort mchenry nine minutes before 10:00. temperatures drop back into the upper 60's to around 70. seven-day forecast, upper 80's tomorrow. humid. scattered showers and thunderstorms possible over the next three days. the best chance will be tuesday and wednesday, and that system that comes through will knock the rain back into the low 80's. the rain looks nice as we head toward the end of the week. >> now to a story we have a feeling we will be hearing more and more frequently. >> a bear sighting. >> and in places where bears are not supposed to be. kate amara tracked this one down in howard county. >> and when i came and saw the bear, i was just shocked and really surprised. >> it was not an ordinary monday for diana silk. about 30 minutes after her sons came in from playing outside, pay black bear moved in. >> he knocked my bird feeder out of the tree and was feasting away on my bird seed. >> after 11 years in this mom home, it was a first for the family. when diana called police, she learned she was not alone. >> they said they had received already five calls for bear sightings. >> according to the d.n.r., six bears are operating in garrett, alleghany, and garrett counties. sightings are on the rise state-wide as young bears travel up to 150 miles wide in search of new territories which may have been the case at the silk home this week. >> i can't imagine whr it came from. >> to keep it from coming back, the silk's bird feeder has been removed for good. according to the experts, that's the best way to avoid bears in your yard p and remove attractions like bird food, pet food, and garbage. if one does show up, back away and give the bear plenty of room. once you have left the area, make loud noises to scare it away. diana silk also alerted her neighbors, and as the story gets around, she realized she's now known as -- >> the bear lady. west baltimore murder case of quentin moindexter. police say his murder took place last month on the 4000 block of alto road. >> and police say they caught a prisoner who took off before a court north. at the same time we have a back-door cold front cutting across pennsylvania and parts of new york state. this is the one that's going to be close enough to maybe give us a couple clouds today. i think the rain is going to miss us. it is drifting very slowly to the south. i think it will stop and stay far enough away that we won't get into the precipitation. we will see a few scattered showers and thunderstorms along that boundary now. some of the high, thin clouds are going to start to drift down into northeast maryland. we might get some high, thin cloud cover from that. even the system to the south might get closer for high, thin clouds that come in. we'll call it a mixture of sunshine and a few clouds. generally a sunny day today. 64 in parkton right now. 66 degrees in rising sun. the dew points are still running in the 50's. when the dew points are in the 50's, everybody feels comfortable. when we get the dew points in the upper 60's, everyone starts to feel the arena. that has been europe's first live arena show called "imp assionada." it is making its debut in the united states. >> the show is riding into baltimore this weekend. the first mariner arena has been turned into a horse rink for it. >> it is something like a broadway show and has the full range of production. we have all the lights and video and sound system. we have wonderful costumes, wonderful horses. >> this is their first time traveling abroad. they are at the start of a 1.5 year north american tour transporting all those horses across an ocean and around the country is not easy. to get all 45 horses here from europe, they had to fly them on three different planes with special custom made stables in the back. >> we are traveling with four horses now. we are traveling from city and back to the city. the horses can get back to a stable after the show. >> that hub is a farm in ohio. the horses are trarlestabled during the course of the show in a back parking lot of the arena in downtown baltimore, but they don't seem to mind. their trainers and riders say the show has something for everyone. >> when we come in with our sparklers in the dark and people see horses on fire, basically you hear a wide gas p across the audience. we have laughing, we have a comedy act with laron and his dompingy and minature horses. people can be awed and amazed by the dress auge routines. we have trick riders that do stunts standing on their horses. >> producers say this is a unique show, the likes of which you will not be able to find anywhere else in the world. >> if you
