These are steady wins being reported well into the 30s and 40s along the coastal areas with gusts into the 50s and 60s. The high wind will work west and inland. Many of the gusts near the water had been in the 55 to 65 mile an hour range. The center of sandy is just east of cape may, new jersey. We have had four to 6 inches of rain so far. We are not done yet. When these things make landfall, the rain rings out of them. It will rain steadily through the night before it tapers off. In the west, temperatures have dropped into the 30s.
