29-year-old vanessa davis was ready to move into baltimore's reservoir hill neighborhood, and even signed a lease agreement in january of 2010. for months, davis tried to move in, patiently waiting from baltimore city housing states she was tossed out the program because she never took possession of the property. the house had been vacant since 2004. there was no license for multifamily dwellings, no accuracy -- occupancy permit and electrical work had not been completed or inspected. baltimore housing says we take the welfare are residents very seriously. the matter is under clouds and storms will continue to spread over our region. it partly to mostly cloudy sky tonight will drop some of the warmth and is likely to build up some today and keep things warmer overnight. even western maryland has readings in the low 70's. for tonight, 53 to 60 degrees, mainly cloudy skies. we do have a 20% chance of showers primarily after midnight heading to friday morning. this slow-moving storm in the middle of the country is trying to get past us, and it's going to take several days. the cloudy, shower weather will now take several days to move through. scattered showers tomorrow afternoon and storms will stay further west of us. the same scenario on saturday. sunday, maybe some thunder mixed in there and the same thing on monday. scattered showers and thunderstorms. it does not look like a completely washed out forecast, but the continuing threat of a shower will be hanging over us for the next several days. mostly cloudy friday, scattered showers, cooler and upper 60's to around 70. winds are light. in the western maryland, getting into the warmer air that has been over the ohio valley. they are a few degrees warmer at deep creek lake than we are here at
