Our mobile app. It's finally Friday and welcome back everyone I swear I thought yesterday was Friday but it turns out it was just Thursday found here we are at the end of the week and while many of us are celebrating the fact that it is finally Friday and the end of our work week a lot of people in Britain are celebrating for a different reason yesterday there was a election for a prime minister and they had their you know kind of like we have the House and the Senate but they had their elections they're part of Parliament elections and they wore wildly different than what they were expected to beat So let me just recap for you real fast because if you're like me most of us don't really keep up with British politics but there was the ultra left the old progressive candidate in Jeremy Corbin and a lot of people thought he might be the one to win. She's a fan of his and a lot of what he said echoes a lot of what we hear from the ultra progressive wing of the. Democratic Party here in the u.s. As well so the reason I'm bringing this up is not to give you a history lesson on what's going on in the u.k. But to bring some parallels because an interesting thing happened yesterday the expected progressive ultra progressive candidate lost and not only did he lose while he destroyed his party got destroyed in the elections and a lot of people were shocked thinking wait a 2nd we had this Boris Johnson guy that a lot of people have compared to doll Trump and not just because they have similar hair styles but they've compared to him because you know he's kind of a put mildly come a goofball he says all sorts of strange things all sorts of erratic things and people have said that he's racist years he's racist tenant tendencies he's an isolationist he's all anti immigration so if you heard this one before and the comparisons to Boris Johnson and Donald Trump have not been missed on journalism's on journalists you mean they've this comparison has been made across the pond many times and so you have these people saying the u.k. Is not going to stand for this guy and I'm going to stand for this Boris Johnson guy the Conservative Party leader who's all about bricks that get the Brits out of there know they're going to go with with Corben right that's who they're going to with the really progressive leader the one who is saying we're going to have you know immigration is going to you know change is going to be even more we're going to have free college tuition to expand the public health care again stop me if you've heard these things of your own he's really in a bike lanes or bikes in general I'm a bike lanes exactly what he's really into bicycling so a lot of people Laura looking at this election and saying this is the U.K.'s turn to boot this ultra conservative Boris Johnson Donald Trump guy out of office and you know what happened not that as a matter of fact Boris Johnson won the prime ministership again and he also went to 78 seat parliamentary majority a time I mean it's not even like they kind of won they won a whole heck of a lot. People are scratching their heads as a matter of fact only was it a resoundingly victory for Boris Johnson but the left wing Labor Party that was led by Jeremy Corbyn the war's showing in nearly 100 years and get this before you think well you know people might muster just like Johnson Oh no they didn't they still don't like him apparently his approval ratings were deeply in the negative is approval rating was 35 percent how do you win a resoundingly victory when only 35 percent of the u.k. Likes you Britain likes you that's. That's that's pretty good I mean I don't know that's pretty strange I suppose but. Also his negative polling was 47 percent I mean out almost half the country really really didn't like him and yet they're now everyone's trying to figure out what the heck happened how is it that this grossly unpopular character won and not only that he won but a resoundingly victory how does that happen while since then not only are people trying to figure out what happened in the u.k. But how this might mirror what could happen in the us 2020 Alexion and this is where you and I come in because we're the ordinary voters we're not the people on Capitol Hill we're not the folks on m.s.n. B.c. And c.n.n. Or even Fox News we're not there it's you and me the ordinary folks who are just trying to live our lives and go to work for the most part and just just be and we're the ones that are going to decide these elections so what have we seen in the u.s. That might be similar to what happened in the u k. Well I will say to my progressive friends there was an article written by James downie in The Washington Post back in June of 27 teen and little while ago don't you think oh yeah but the title of this article Jeremy Corbyn success is a model for American Progress. If it is. Headed for not a good showing in 2020 had it right off a cliff but a lot of people saw Jeremy Corbyn and his progressive party the Labor Party how far left they had gone in the u.k. And looked at that and said back at least back in 2017 that this is how American Progress is should model themselves this is what is going to lead American progressives to victory in the 2020 election and it was bolstered by what happened in 28 and we had to even look at the state of Maryland where you have a Republican governor and what happened even have Donald Trump on the ticket but so many people going to the polls in the state of Maryland Remember Trump was not on the ticket but I had so many people going to the polls in the state of Maryland and they were voting against Donald Trump I was there helping a friend of mine who was running for clerk of the court a nonpartisan position I don't even know why it's an elected position but it is a nonpartisan position and I had people coming up to me saying that they were voting for Democrat straight Democrats I don't care who they are I don't care what their name is I only care that they are Democrats because you're voting against Donald Trump people were angry and so you see this kind of wave this shift back in 2018 of people saying well we're on the right track right because people are getting so sick of Donald Trump there's no way he's going to get reelected and then you have this impeachment inquiry start starting with the Moeller report and that didn't work and you go to impeachment that is not moving the needle at all so rather than take 2018 as a marker for making progress I don't know I would go that far as a matter of fact I take a look back at this article that was written back in 2017 from James Downey in The Washington Post. Telling American progressive Jeremy Corbyn success is a model for American progressive Well I wouldn't model myself too much after this particular individual considering the a business showing that resulted in yesterday's catastrophic losses so let me tell you what what this article entails so back in 2017 as they said that the conservatives actually lost 13 seats for the previous elections this is in the u.k. So this is why this author is writing this like look 1st you had Boris Johnson in there and then also and you have Jeremy Corbyn the left the ultra progressive coming in and what happens well what happened was conservatives lost 13 seats they lost. The official majority in parliament which is kind of what happened here in the u.s. Except Republicans didn't lose the official majority they lost the majority when you had all those seats all those congressional seats that flipped from voting for Democrats voting for Donald Trump to voting Democrat and a lot of people are saying the same similarities that look you know what group or in the u.k. They thought they wanted this ultra You conservative message and they didn't instead they flipped and in the next election they lost the official majority and we saw that in the u.s. As well you know like Donald Trump and what happens in the next election well he loses the House although he retains the Senate and so this author is saying American progressive keep an eye on this this is where you want to head are right now right if that's where you want to head why does he say that he says because if you need liberals in the United States he said you need a bold uncompromising platform with real solutions. Where have we heard those terms before I feel like this is something that is very central to see Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren the 3 most progressive Democrats in mainstream progressive Democrats who say I don't care what people say about how feasible these things are to do right when a o c comes up and says these people who are you know touting the Green New Deal is abysmal Oh no we need bold action when Elizabeth Warren says we don't need people telling us what we can't do we need people telling us what we can do it's about bold action never mind feasibility the room when we discuss that it's about bold action it's about an uncompromising platform when Bernie Sanders is questioned about his Medicare for all plan and coupled with his free college for all playing what does he say we're going to compromise on values we're not going to compromise on what we believe is necessary for the us Elizabeth Warren does the same thing we're going to compromise on Medicare for all of these human rights a o c I'm pretty sure she's never said the word compromise in her life it just does not seem to be a word that is you know is it all in her vocabulary these big bold uncompromising platform with real solutions think we can forget that part because a lot of these are they are bold and they are uncompromising think they really offer any real solutions but that's what they were saying back in 2017 sort of American progressives were saying back in 2017 this is the model that we need to follow Well why don't we see what happened in the u.k. When they continue down this same path that we were all so keen to follow. It turns out. Books didn't really like it as it turns out these big bold uncompromising ideas don't really pan out when folks go to the ballot box and I think we're seeing something very similar here in the u.s. Originally when people talked about Medicare for all the question is often asked not so much in the details how do you feel about getting rid of these insurance companies are both about the details right it's bigger than that it's about health care is a human right the 1st question do you believe health care is a human right as soon as you answer yes to that you don't need the details because they're never going to they're never going to exist to the extent that you need them to but if you start asking it that way. Do you believe that health care is a human right and you answer Yes Well at that point it is a matter how it gets done is no matter how many trillions of dollars you spend doesn't matter if it's even feasible at all or if it's even the best thing for the nation it only matters that it's a human right and you get it done and then what happened well after the 1st round of debates then people started to ask Ok then are worn How do you plan on paying for that nothing and Bernie Sanders how do you plan on paying for that and then what happens to these Republicans these conservatives are always worried about money why are you always worried about money well because money makes it work I would love to tell you that you can have you know this big bonfire without a spark but you need a spark money's the same way so I keep asking that question and then what happened as the campaign goes on and on and on and then all sudden we got the trillions of $1.00 wait a 2nd now public opinion starts to shift. I didn't know it was going to cost that much money I don't think we have that I don't know if that's feasible or how about the other details about the millions of people who will lose their health insurance and be forced onto a public onto a public option or not even option a public inquiry that what I don't like that either or how about the millions of people who would lose their jobs in the health care industry related to health insurance and their brokers and all those other people who are you know depend on health insurance for their living. Well I like it even less and I think that's what happened in great in in the u.k. As well that these ideas that Jeremy Corbyn was saying that are very very similar to the ideas of the ultra progressive left here in the u.s. While they sounded good 1st you start going into the details and thinking wait a 2nd I don't know no that doesn't sound even remotely feasible you know it's even bigger than just having big bold ideas that you can't back up it's even bigger than that. It's about who you forgot along the way and this article in The Washington Post talks a lot about how Jeremy Corbyn he has this youth vote he's got you know the young people out in America progressives if this is how you want to win elections you need to get young people excited Well Bernie Sanders has done that he's gotten people excited to see can get thousands of people to watch her build Ikea furniture while she think it's popcorn or forget what it was that she was eating people are excited about them and so that excitement is supposed to translate into votes but again it's a funny thing that happens once you're excited and you're watching these politicians but then you've got to go home and think about how it's going to affect you in your own house and your own pocketbook and your own children funny thing happens then all of a sudden that excitement turns into concern and into questions and when he can't answer those questions just like Jeremy couldn't answer the questions guess what happens people suddenly don't want to vote for you or maybe they start questioning your idea I think that's what happened in the u.k. But one of the biggest things that I believe happened in the u.k. That has happened here. Is that you ignored a significant amount of people you ignored an important part of the country I think you're in the u.s. Manufacturing jobs those people in the Midwest those fly over states as we call them think about why we call them fly over states you call them fly over states because they're the ones that you literally fly over and you don't even know which ones you're from that Idaho is in Ohio I don't even know I mean was the difference between the states it's just a bunch of corn fields right. Except for the people that live there except for the people whose jobs have been decimated by some of our progressive policies and while progress might be headed in the right direction if you ignore those people long enough guess what happens they come out and they vote and they vote oftentimes for the guy that you never saw coming the guy who was coming down the escalator and everybody said oh this guy you know the reality t.v. Guy Boris Johnson a guy with a horrible hair on the bad reputation you know what happens when you ignore that part of the country over and over and over again and not just ignore them but when you do finally remember them you ridicule them you call them deplorable. You you call out their education level and every chance you get 0 polls on the educated the level of education that you get all the numbers change once you throw in how many degrees they have or how many they lack what happens when you keep doing that over and over again you end up with Donald Trump and of course Johnson. Yeah you know there are all these comparisons just a few years ago this is how progressives in the u.s. Should model themselves after Jeremy Corbin in the Labor Party in the u.k. Well if you want to win I don't recommend doing that now if you want to drive the party off a cliff there you go that's what they did yesterday but why I think the big question is not to necessarily look at how they are how they are similar but why they are similar and I think a large part of that is because we have forgotten a whole swath of the American voters and instead of just looking them as voters looking at them as people and I'll explain this in just a moment and how this relates to impeachment because as I explained earlier in the week. Yesterday I guess very late yesterday the Democrats or the House the House Committee as decided they are now going to push the articles of impeachment to the full House vote which means everyone's going to get a say everyone's now going to be on the vote on the record in the House deciding whether or not they're going to vote on impeachment whether to impeach the president or not and I know there have been a number of articles written about how many Democrats are threatening to. Jump ship and instead defect and not vote for impeachment Some say that it could be you know just a couple senior Democratic aides are quoted by The Washington Post saying that it could be as many as half a dozen or another aide said it could be higher higher than half a dozen Democrats saying yeah no I can't I can't vote for impeachment However just so we're clear based on the numbers and based on the majority of Democrats in the house 17 Democrats told 17 Democrats can choose not to vote for impeachment and it would still succeed they would still succeed in impeaching the president the House and it would still go to the Senate so what you're hearing all these numbers come out about how many Democrats might defect and on the necessarily a question whether or not it's. He's going to be impeached in the house but the big question is those that are starting to waiver why are they wavering and how does that relate to what happened in the u.k. Well I don't argue that they're way ring not so much based on evidence that's been presented or not been presented because look they gave you everything Mayhap you could watch any of those hearings my God they put everything out on the table for you including 3 law school professors for heaven sakes what more could you want all the evidence they had was their you know what's weighing them what's weighing them our poll numbers what's weighing them our poll numbers that are moving in the direction that they thought they would and why aren't they moving why is it that after all of this coverage that we've seen on impeachment why hasn't the needle mood why aren't more people more interested. So if you haven't heard the president the full House will be voting on impeachment next week from probably sometime next week but now there are all these rumors because now you're not just dealing with a House committee now you're dealing with the entire house and you know Democrats are going to make sure that you get as many of your of your fellow Democrats to vote for impeachment in order for this thing to work regardless we're even at the center right now where I'm going to talk you know about what that mess will look like but you got to start wondering especially for those in the debt and the vulnerable seats and I keep saying that because there were a significant amount of Democrats who were elected in this new wave or the one the flipped the house from the Republicans to the Democrats there are a number of seats that were in touchy areas so what I mean by that is they voted in these areas voted for Donald Trump in 2016 but then they voted for a Democrat in 2018 which means that a lot of them are you know they're they're more conservative I guess and so they're not these safe Democrat seats so I know that sounds a little crazy to us here in Maryland because so many of the congressional seats are safe Democrat seats that it almost feels like when you mean well they're kind of like the swing states or congressional districts and so a lot of these Democrats are saying look look I've barely got here all right and now you want me to a vote to him to impeach a guy that people in my district voted for I mean should I just hand in my resignation now should I just put everything in a box today so that I can get out of here as soon as they vote me out of office so a lot of them are saying and not to be too cynical about it but if you're a Democrat and you want to stop the president's agenda losing the House is going to join in the house. Not the way to do it so you got to think strategically about this and I am being a little bit skeptic here because the think that a lot of what goes on in Congress is purely politics is just you know about you but the reason that people don't like politicians that a lot of people don't like politicians but let me give you an example of why I think that President Trump might be in the Republicans might actually be in a better footing today post all the impeachment stuff in the house than they were before because you would think wait a 2nd you've got all this evidence you've got dragged through this whole thing about impeachment why a lot of Democrats are asking themselves as to why are more people interested why are people mad about what Donald Trump supposedly did well let me explain why I think a lot of people are mad and how this relates to what happened in the u.k. They forgot a lot of their hard working middle class voters and that's exactly what's going on here let me explain so as part of this impeachment inquiry and the votes right was it the most curious thing that right after you have Nancy Pelosi and Harry now are Democrats announcing that they are going to vote on these articles of impeachment there's even they're going to debate these articles of impeachment What do they do about an hour later. About an hour later they came back in a nother press conference and announced that they were going to vote on the u.s. In Ca that the replacement to NAFTA it's a trade agreement with the u.s. Mexico and Canada and it's something that Donald Trump campaigned on and so curiously people were thinking. What exactly are you trying to do here and I think what they were trying to do is show that look we can walk and chew gum at the same time you know we can impeach the president and yet we can still work with Republicans to pass legislation that Americans that is good for Americans right that's a good thing that's what they're trying to show is that what they did know because you know what I think a lot of people have seen especially in those manufacturing districts that are critical to reelection and also that have been hammered by some of our progressive policies. Why didn't you do that earlier excuse me so you mean to tell me that you can agree with Republicans that you can hammer out details but you chose not to do it until a time that it is politically expedient for you I'm sorry did you not recognize that in 2016 Americans were angry with politics as usual do you need to explain to you what politics as usual means for a lot of Americans especially those who are in areas that have been devastated by certain policies when you are being used as a political pawn guess what it is a feel good it is a feel good to feel to be made into a political pawn that hey guys look we passed the u.s. Embassy and we're all good now right we can work together you know I think a lot of Americans are sitting back thinking so you can do it you just have it until you want to you until you think it might help your political chances again I don't know about you but I don't like being used as a pawn I don't like American trade being used upon and I certainly don't like American manufacturers being used as a pawn and guess who has been making that message for the last almost 3 years. You don't know why he won there you go in short order that's why he won because well lot of other politicians are fine with doing it this way just politics as usual making deals back room and wheel and deal and guess what a lot of people in the Midwest a lot of people in Virginia in coal country in all country down in Texas have felt left behind you. And yet maybe he says it in a horrible way Donald Trump Boris Johnson to. At least he's calling out the games yeah you guys know me I've not been a fan of the president but you want to know why he'll probably get himself reelected because of tricks like this and there's another example as well as the Washington Post writes these House Democrats are bracing for some defections among the moderates on impeachment of Trump but why are you bracing for those defections so they go into another example so there have been a couple of Democrats who have said you know what I mean a really vulnerable seat you've got to let me vote differently and according to you I represented Daniel Kildee who's the deputy whip he said they're not going to whip votes which means they're going to go around and tell people this is how you need to vote convince them how to vote which is ordinarily what happens instead he said this is one of those issues where members have to come to their own conclusions is just too consequential I think this is one of those votes where people are going to be remembered for a long time for how they voted on it man that sounds really noble right for the House whip to say the deputy whip to say you know what. You can't push on this one you got to come to this on your own you've got to make your own individual decision you know this is politics Ok you're not being noble you know they're doing the biggest see why a letter ever to say that you know we're going to you allow you to vote your conscience what they're saying is owed your god we don't know what's going to happen so you do what you feel you need to do to keep your seat so that we can keep our majority and still be able to tell the American people that we tried to impeach this guy and so that is and I think a lot of Americans can see through that but as I promised you another example of how this is happening so one of the moderates that I was talking about in one of those vulnerable districts Representative Anthony Brindisi he's a Democrat centrist and he has been agonizing according to The Washington Post on how to vote on impeachment. Well he secured a win just the other day on a defense bill on Wednesday the House passed the defense bill and there was a provision in there that would boost local manufacturing in a plant in his district a district that trump carried by more than 15 points you know you should be asking yourself why did it just pass on Wednesday on Wednesday this is a bill a provision in this bill that would have boosted manufacturing plant in his district you just now passed it you just now happen to pass it since we're discussing impeachment you know what that looks like see why a. Or for radio cover your rear your rear end is basically what I'm saying those are the kinds of things that are saying we're going to we're going to vote to him peach him and if you would like to vote as well we also know that you're in a vulnerable district and therefore we're going to give you this when I give you this that you can take home and say look I got this passed in the house and now manufacturing is going to be boosted in our district and you should be asking yourself and I think a lot of other people will as well why don't you do it sooner if you could I mean I get that maybe 6 months ago it wasn't politically expedient for Democrats in the house to do this but 6 months ago I bet those people who were without manufacturing jobs what have liked to see them in their district what it's like to have that job but it wasn't politically expedient and right it wasn't advantageous it wasn't according to the polls what you should do at the moment to get yourself reelected and I think a lot of Americans are seeing that and saying. Or how about this one as they said bring the C's predecessor Claudia Tenney she had implored g.o.p. Leadership to adopt this provision What is this provision Well it would have required the military to buy American made eating utensils and apparently Republicans didn't do it but now now Palosi did and the tweet from Brindisi on Wednesday stick a fork in it pleased to finally secure this win for American Manufacturing in upstate New York yeah all you needed was an impeachment vote so you could cover yourself right. I think a lot of people might be looking at these things and saying wait a 2nd I feel like I'm being used. Believe the radio 1090 any of them want to 1.5 traffic and weather. Traffic is still absolutely shut down going towards Annapolis on 50 westbound just prior to the Severn River Bridge and coming off of Ritchie highway a major crash the puv 5 vehicles involved in response units all over the scene and still no one getting by at all with traffic sitting there before Baby I'll drive almost back to keep sane clear at this point he's spent travel baseload just take a look all he's bellies are open but that is heavy back from at least around both are going out of Annapolis this way so this is a major trouble spot to avoid this if you can. You can get northbound to Ritchie highway through Arnold but just to get there in Africa in general is going to be the challenge at this time tells a lot of a top on 95 through Baltimore northbound a few new delays now ahead of a street through the 4 by tunnel and a bit slow north of O'Donnell street towards 40 bus like that is it wrapping up a little bit here w b a l t v 11 weather near 40 for the high today with ongoing rain showers a very cloudy day as well goes down to 43 tonight as a warms up a bit tomorrow highs in the low fifty's but more rain expected this report is sponsored by b g e home m j Walker w.p.a. Last time I checked being impeached is not an honor camp is going to have this asterisk on the history books for eternity thank God Well you know Normally I'd agree with you being impeached is not on the top of my list you know I don't think that most people who are as you presidents that's not what you put on top of the mantle you know Christmas got impeached but if you're Donald Trump and you're going there to rattle the status quo if your job is to go there what do you say drain the swamp What do you think he's actually doing or not look at this from his perspective you are getting in piece by the very people who are still playing the same political games that they have been playing for decades and now they're trying to impeach you ordinarily I'd agree with you Textor them being impeached is not an honor but in this case if you went there to be the bull in the china shop I don't know. I'd have to disagree with you there I don't know that I don't know that this would necessarily dampen Trump spirits in the way that he would ordinarily any other president and that is because he was elected to be a destructor to do things differently and when we have seen time and time again and you know if you've been listening to this show for any amount of time I have not supported the president's behavior under number of occasions I'm a Republican and I can support the president when I think it's appropriate but also I can criticize him when I think it's appropriate and I've done that I think a number of times but you're kidding yourself if you don't realize why a lot of people voted for Donald Trump they wanted him to come in and be a disruptor what happens when you go in as a disruptor you disrupt things and then people the status quo the elite the government elite they get mad at you that's what they expected them to do I don't quite expect them to go this far I expect them to threaten impeachment at least from now until 2020. But I George they actually did. They're actually you know they actually introduce articles of impeachment the House committees actually backing the articles of impeachment and that full house was going to vote on it next week I didn't think I had to get it in you know that we're going to continue to stall with one report after another but I guess they're finally going to do it but you've got to recognize you've got to recognize that while this may not be. An honor for most people always Donald Trump sent to Washington to do it wasn't sent there to hold hands with Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the Democrats he was sent there to cause a ruckus and he's doing that I don't always approve of it but I'm Tony got to recognize he's doing exactly what he was sent to do and impeachment is going to. I mean you want to know how to get his voters excited how to get his base to shore up his support here you go here you go patch on the back because you're doing it this is exactly the kind of thing that will rally his supporters and by the way he's not actually going to be removed from office the Senate's not going to convict him so what do you do what do you do I want to get your thoughts you can text me 410467925 you can also give me a call at 410467. Let's take a John in Harrisburg John you and I mean gale force like you were taking my call. It was just to quote drain the swamp unquote Don't be disrupt wrote quote I wonder if you will also wears on or the recent Bush in court in New York State Court to his lawyers. He spent $2000000000.00 actually $3000000000.00 of his charities and money on himself and his family to pay off people bills. Campaign contributions by expensive gifts that were stolen. The church will shut. His children or to take ethics training by the way or will he also be. Years if he's elected God forbid. If his current peace continues. He will break the record for having. A straight shooter convicted of crude or start to fix reasons well those be badges of honor I don't know they'll be badges of honor for him John thanks for the call but I don't think they're going to faze him that's the critical thing they're not going to faze him you know I've I've had probably the most difficult time of many of you trying to figure out Donald Trump and how he got himself elected well in the sense that coming from a Republican myself being there during the primaries and hearing and taking part in the arguments as to who we should nominate as our as our guy let me tell you it was not pretty it was it still isn't pretty amongst those who question Donald Trump because there are a significant amount of Republicans who questioned all Trump and like John to say you can lay these things out all of these charges all of these accusations all of these but what if and what about this and what about that and you wonder why they don't seem to faze him why they don't seem to phase support for Donald Trump as you know why I think eventually you got to realize that it's not necessarily about Donald Trump it's about the people who are left behind the people in the Midwest How about the people in the us Jim see a this new trade agreement that's replacing NAFTA how about asking them how that will affect them what affects them or the fact that this thing got passed or the fact that Donald Trump's children have to go through ethics training while the latter is really bad what is going to affect them directly u.s. M.c.a. Before Donald Trump who was talking about getting rid of NAFTA who was arguing that NAFTA was a horror. Well deal for the u.s. Not a whole lot of people and a whole lot of politicians and that's why I think you've seen after all of these hearings going on after all of this evidence that has been laid out over the last few weeks and impeachment these hearings why didn't they don't know for heaven's sakes you would think and I think a lot of Democrats expected it to that Americans would look and say they'd look up at their T.V.'s and say My God look at this look at all this evidence against him and as i would happen you know you got to ask you know why because Americans don't pay attention probably possibly that has something to do with it also watching those hearings was boring as sin I sat here and you know I part of our shows were preempted by those hearings and I don't like that kind of stuff I like C.-Span I was bored to tears now everyone else also bored to tears there were a few that paid attention but what I'm saying is if you don't recognize what is most important to everyday individual Americans man what happened in the u.k. Yesterday that unexpected victory the decimation of the progressive party in the u.k. Which had an eerily similar message to hear. I think that could happen Oh absolutely .
