I know Cincinnati was in there but you dominate a lesser opponent in Cincinnati like you should and then you come on you dominate a really good team who is sitting just a game back from you in the a.f.c. And I know you get em at home but the games in the n.f.l. Are not supposed to look. Each week and for whatever reason the Ravens are dominating and they're dominating good football teams at that and so it's difficult to argue like I mentioned that they're not the best team in the n.f.l. Right now they're certainly playing the better I think from top to bottom with the additions of Marcus Peters and some of those Late Edition that linebacker they have one of the best rosters in the n.f.l. And finally this defense is is playing the way that we all thought that they would play at the beginning of the season. And really shutting people down and the big difference yesterday with their billet you get after the quarterback they get the team they had 7 sacks and that was really in my opinion for the game defensively being able to get after dish on Watson and make his life uncomfortable and we're talking with Dennis pad and Lamar Jackson through 4 touchdown passes against the Texans. And we keep talking about his progression as a passer what it was kind of some of the things that jump out at you when you stay when you see him throwing the ball and how much different it is maybe even a I. A year ago at this time. Well I think a year ago at this time all we had really seen of Lamar to this point was what we saw through the offseason training camp when he was 1st there and to be completely honest I don't think anybody inside the Ravens and failure outside the Ravens he was that encouraged by what they saw him throwing the football I mean I think he struggled at times just to throw a spiral and those were some of the storylines that came out of camp and the off season about him last year and so to fast forward now a year and obviously he was able to play the latter half of that even last year and do what he did but now to this point to be able to see him throw the ball. And not only look better so involved with to throw it incredibly accurately and to be a high end passer at this point is certainly surprising and I don't know that I've seen a quarterback take that big of a jump from year one to year 2 ever that I can remember and so that's what's most impressive to me is if he went from a guy who couldn't even really hold an n.f.l. Ball properly and throw a spiral to very accurate passer and you look at some of those passes he's made I mean he has all the different arm Ingles the Starland seems to tighten right on the money I mean those are difficult downfield throws that I think we're now getting accustomed to seeing him make and if he can continue to play at that level of the passer we all know his ability as a runner and it just continues to showcase you know a dynamic running attack so that's one reason why Marge actually right now is the odds on favorite in Vegas to win v.p. Does you touch upon the Ravens defense earlier again 7 sacks season high do you think that is a sign of things to calm or do you think you know it will be a little bit more. More of the inconsistency that we've we've seen throughout the maybe the early portion of the year. Well I don't think that you can count on the Ravens defense getting out there a quarterback quite the way they did to Sean Watson this week and I don't think you can anticipate. In the ballpark of 7 facts being moving forward it certainly helps that you have a guy like Marcus eaters and all that depth d.v. Now that they have because anytime you can cover better in the back and it helps those pass rushers and give them just a split 2nd more time to get to the quarterback and so. That will help moving forward but I just think you look at that 2nd dolphins of line I think that's a point of weakness for their off sense and certainly not a point of strength and so. You look at a game like this and say the Ravens played tremendously defensively and got after the quarterback I don't know that they can sustain that level of pressure but I think it's trending in that direction and I think you have to be encouraged by what you saw this past week and what you may continue to see moving forward and this is Dennis Pitta Dennis you know kind of the rigors of the you know this point in the season now the Ravens they have to go out to l.a. For a Monday night game you know how challenging is it not for that game in particular but I'm thinking about the week afterwards where you know after the Monday night game on the West Coast they have to travel cross country and play on a short week yes it's a home game against the 40 niners but as a player Dennis Al challenging is it to to have that long to travel and have that short week even at this time of the year. Well it's very tough and they will play Monday night against the Rams like you mentioned on the West Coast they won't get back into Baltimore that night well I should say the next morning until probably 4 or 5 in the morning and so you'll play in a game like that you'll fly all the way back to the country they'll get home about 5 in the morning to their houses trying to get some sleep and because now you're a day late on your preparation they won't have the opportunity to just. Take the next day off like they typically do normally Mondays your day off play a Sunday game they're going to have to get right back to work on that Tuesday to keep the same structure and consistency within their week that they normally would be going into a Sunday game and so they'll they'll give the players some time off in the morning but I would anticipate they'll probably be back in the building by noon or 1 o'clock to start meeting should be just a light walk through that day but you don't get to just sleep all day after getting home at 5 in the morning like you would want to go get some sleep but but then you're just playing catch up the rest of the week and that's where I think it's most difficult is just that travel period coming back and having to get right back in the swing of things look at the next opponent and have a short week from that respect and certainly it always takes a toll physically when you have one less day to heal and recover and get all that back to where you can play again and so it's a challenge and they'll be tested but you've got to like their chances each and every week even even on a short week the teams playing too well.
