For years, bills aiming to Arm School Staff have failed in the general assembly. However this new bill just passed the education committee. Under the proposal, security guards would have to be retired Police Officers and get permission from the local school board before getting a weapon. This all started during lunch time yesterday in harford county, near baltimore. Deputies got a tip on where evans was. Witnesses say when a deputy approached him, evans pulled out a gun.
