Police say they last night when their pickup truck was struck. The man police say he was speeding when he ran a red light and tboned the victims car. Police in Westchester County 19yearold stevenson is charged with seconddegree murder. 18yearold Brandon Lawrence and four friends parked at the boys and girls club sunday morning. Burkett spoke with the teen. Reporter the valedictorian has been accepted at every ivy league school. Augusta says there are no secrets and no shortcuts to academic success. I think the main thing that has shaped me in to the individual i am now is just tenacity and persistence. Reporter augusta is the daughter of nigerian immigrants who instilled in her selfconfidence, humility, and a though i was born here in america, i visited nigeria many times and ive seen my cousins dont have the same opportunities that i have. So definitely whatever i do, i want to make sure it has an impact in nigeria. Reporter she was finalist for her research on cement which could help underwater oil rigs from rupturing. He was studying mass media as a freshman this year at iona college. This weekend, those dreams, that future cut short by a bullet on a ball field.
