We have just learned that charges will be filed against an mta bus driver who struck and killed a 70yearold woman in brooklyn and then left the woman this morning at the corner of sackman and fulton street in the ocean hill section. The driver then bought the b15 bus back to the depot before another driver then took it out. The drivers the detectives determined the bus was involved after reviewing surveillance video. A friend of the victim tells us intersection has always been a problem. Its horrific. Its the way they run this street. They need to put a light here. We need some politicians to come down here and check this here. Because we have a lot of buses coming down the neighborhood. And we have a lot of kids and elderly people on walkers. Again, that bus driver will be charged. We are told that the victim lived in a nearby shelter. Now to a dead lichting in stanford. One that took a life of a mother outserving food in a park. Reporter and david, this is nothing short of a senseless random shooting that took the life of this single mother here in this Stanford Park last night. She had five children. Well, now three men are in custody but its set off a chain of events thats unusual. Its very sad. Very sad. Reporter friends of Maxine Gooden remember her the way she was. And now tragically, with a candle light memorial they honor her memory. Shes just a nice person. Down to earth. Reporter and annette rose says maxine was here in the park last night socializing with friends when Police Say Three men entered the park with a gun and apparently bad intentions. It doesnt appear that she was targeted. Focal chaos. The total chaos, the park was filled with people at this time. People solizing and at that time we had the victim who was shot once. Reporter maxine was here as she was on occasion having made soup and other food and was selling it to help support her five children. Two of them underage. She made the food herself and bring it out here and keep it warm. Serving you they have money or not, theyre going to eat. Reporter as they gathered again in this park, her friends were joined by stanford mayor martin. Whos deeply troubled by this murder. Only the third in stanford this year. There was a terrific person that was just a random victim of her rick senseless gun violence. They were able to provide us with a license plate and within 15 minutes, one of our patrol officers spotted that car. The thing that alerted me it was gunshots me was the gunshots is. The brightness of the muzzle flashes from them fying their weapons. Firing their weapons. The police eventually came. And you can hear them wrestling in the backyard and everything. And looking for the guy because it was a guy with a black hoodie. Reporter residents here were on edge as cops knocked on doors. Searching for the suspect and telling people to stay inside their homes. I come outside. They told me to get back in the house. And i they kept looking to get back. Reporter Authorities Say the suspects Victoria Williams of carteret and hasan rich of rahway just started shooting on police at north 11th without warning. Two weapons were recovered and we are searching right now for a possible suspect that may be struck by gunfire. Reporter nervous residents heard the gunfire and stayed one of the suspects ran and hid. Residents watched and waited as cops eventually found that suspect and negotiated with him to surrender without incident. The first suspect was captured right after the initial gunfire. And Police Say Two guns have been recovered. Now authorities are now toling us that no one telling us no that no one was seriously injured in the shooting that happened last night. Reporter david, actually we do have an update that that suspect has been caught. He is in custody and the weapon has been recovered as far as those four victims were told four people were injured. Not lifethreatening. Two of those people were slashed in the head. Apparently youre taking a look at live chopper video right now. We are told those victims did not know each other and they did not know that system. But again the suspect. But again the suspect has been arrested. Six passengers were kicked off a flight from los angeles to dallas last night. All six were black. The Flight Attendant being rude. Reporter tension on this Spirit Airlines jet captured on cell phone is leading to claims of racial discrimination. A black passenger and his companion were escorted by officers off the flight on monday after an argument with a Flight Attendant over a seat. Guy said, hey, im not going anywhere. The Flight Attendant said something. The guy said, im not talking to you. Dont talk to me. After he said that, she said you need to get off the flight. Reporter it doesnt end there. Thats when according to officers, five other black passengers caused a disturbance. Those passengers claim a white Flight Attendant accused them of being a threat. I need your name and your bosss name. Reporter police say all five were also escorted off the plane, including the passenger recording this video. We were the only people that got kicked off the aircraft. So many other people were recording and talking about it from different races. Reporter despite several requests, Spirit Airlines has not issued an official statement. The company did offer the passengers removed Hotel Accommodations and another flight. Some witnesses say the passengers escorted off never threatened the spirit Flight Attendant. Other travelers do believe the situation was handled appropriately. Reporter four people minding their own business riding the ctrain heading into manhattan here at ralph avenue, stabbed. A very frightening scene. Its still very active. If you take a look, you can see Police Officers here. Weve been told that the been arrested. Two of those victims were slashed in the face. But again, those injuries non lifethreatening. Several service interruptions. We have been told the northbound ctrains are running exabout from broadway broad from broadway. Delays on the a and c trains are going both ways but again, this investigation is still ongoing. No word yet on what sparked the violence. Why he chose to stab these people.
