Bars will be crowded and the jumbo screen will be lit up. Now its up to the mets to make these royals feel like commodores. Reporter it has been a messy dreary wet rainy day all day today here in kansas city. That rain expected to continue for another several hours. Batting practice behind me not likely for the afternoon, but they do expect at least at this point for the game to go on as scheduled shortly after 8 00 eastern time. This is one of two tents here. Were told its for a top secret fan experience. Pretty cool stuff. Were told the fans will not be disappointed. In the last hour i was inside citi field, and it was really a surreal experience to be on the field without the crowds. It was quiet. They were really setting up, cleaning up, and i think the fans will not be disappointed. The grass at citi field is getting a makeover, the kind that fans have been waiting to see for years. The world series logo making its mark in preparation for world series games later this week. Heres Something Interesting to note. This years world series begins on the 29th anniversary of the night the 1986 world series ended, which was the last time the mets won the world series, so you can imagine the energy thats been mounting for diehard fans. Meanwhile, mr. Met will be warming up at the met. With a rendition of meet the mets from lincoln center. New at noon, the violence in israel has claimed the life of an american from the tri state area. Richard laken who is originally from connecticut was stabbed during a bus attack two weeks ago and died today of his wounds. Laken lived in israel and has dual citizenship. Israeli Officials Say a palestinian man boarded the and started stabbing and shooting riders. That brings the death toll from that day to four making it the deadliest day since the explosion of violence in the region began more than a month ago. We have new information in the funeral for officer randolph holder. The reverend al sharpton says he will no longer attend the service tomorrow fearing his appearance would lead to a confrontation with the citys police unions. A Third Generation Police Officer and a fiveyear veteran of the force murdered in the line of duty one week ago tonight. It feels like a Family Member just been swiped away, like a family loss. Borough president eric adams says Governor Cuomo needs to give money to antiviolence programs like snug which is guns spelled backwards. All right. An Airline Controversy after a disabled man says he was forced to crawl off a plane, now hes taking his message to social media. You will hear what the airline has to say about it. A tree trimmer trapped in a tree, a robber tossing cash, and a drones crash landing just some of the stories caught on camera that caught our attention. Were going to begin a dramatic rescue more than 30 feet above the ground in california. Firefighters in pasadena used a large ladder to reach a tree trimmer who got tangled in the branches of a palm tree. The man was cutting away dead heavy limbs when he got stuck. Firefighters were able to loosen some of the leaves allowing the man to slip free. Rescue crews placed a harness on him, lowered him to the ground, the man is in fair condition at the hospital. This israel. Office workers watch as high winds start pushing a crane away from a building under construction. How frightening is this, this wound up snapping next to a busy highway in tel aviv. High winds around 60 miles an hour are being blamed for this. Fortunately no one was injured. Severe weather expected in the region throughout the week. Several students pulled out their cell phones as the deputy dragged and tossed the student to the ground. Now federal officials are involved. Abcs Karen Travers has the story. A disturbing classroom confrontation involving a female student and School Resource officer in South Carolina caught on camera. You can come with me. Several videos of the incident going viral after the officer identified as ben fields who worked at Spring Valley high school in Richland County grabbed and tossed a female student from her desk. Hands behind your back. Officials say the student had been ordered to leave the classroom but refused. Then officer fields was called in. The officer puts his arm around the ground before apparently flinging her across the classroom. Tony robinson is one of the students who recorded the incident during mondays algebra class. I terrified, so that was my first judgment call is get your phone out so that everything after this is recorded. As terrified students sat frozen at their desks, only one decided to intervene. He was like you want some of this too and then he said youre going to jail too, and he put me in handcuffs. The sheriff says fields received a culture of excellence reward for proving in 2014. Of shock. Very disturbed with it, and i answered. Fields was placed on unpaid administrative leave and banned from School Grounds while the investigation takes place. School district officials called the video extremely disturbing telling abc news they are deeply concerned. The fbi is also investigating the incident. Recent videos of officers may not paint an accurate picture of police brutality. Also clarifying recent comments that resulting from those videos that officers are pulling back on the job, which could lead to a crime increase. The white house disagrees. The Available Evidence at this point does not support the notion that Law Enforcement officer around the country are shying away from fulfilling their responsibilities. Komi says the officers have to work harder to prove how hard they work to protect the people they serve. Police in the bronx have released video showing three men wanted for impersonating Police Officers. The group allegedly tricked their way into several bronx apartments earlier this month. In brooklyn the family of a girl who is on life support after choking in school is preparing to speak about the tragedy, the mother of Noelia Lisa Echavarria has hired an attorney in response to the incident. The family says they want answers from the department of education about what happened last week when the 7yearold collapsed at her school in williamsburg. Doctors say the child choked on a sandwich. A passing emt performed aid and the girl was rushed to the hospital where Family Members say she is in critical condition. By the way, that emt who helped says he was suspended from his job because he rode to the hospital with the child in an ambulance that did not belong to his company. Former nba cheerleader suing the milwaukee buccs claiming she wasnt paid minimum wage. Lauren harrington claims dancing for the team was a full time job.
