Next couple days it continues to press up to the north. Category 2 now, through the bahamas. Edges closer to the u. S. Out to the east a little farther. Heads up and might round the horn near cape hatteras. Where does it go from here . We could see two scenarios. One where it jives into the northeast or one where it goes across the atlantic. Flagler beach all the way south of miami youre looking at a tropic Tropical Storm warning. Watches in yellow. Down the south around the upper keys also. The past over the next couple days. It goes up to the north through the bahamas. It makes a little bend toward the u. S. And then bends backwards sometime on this is saturday. Watch what happens after this. Goes up to the north. Then theres a strong cold front that may absorb this and begin to stretch it out. Winds are still up to about 70 Miles Per Hour here. Notice the different icon. Its going to be a postTropical Storm. Looks like its going to lose that tropical characteristic. The wind field will still be out there. The situation is still going to be the same. Where it goes from here its going to be interesting. As that low pressure comes swinging around out of the great lakes the upper level low may absorb it and move it in towards new england sometime on tuesday or wednesday. North of there to georgia with hurricane warnings for just about everybody in the bahamas. Watch it continue to go up to the north as a category 2, winds down a little bit. A little land interaction, cooler waters and shear coming in. Up towards the north it turns into an extra Tropical Storm, meaning it no longer will have tropical characteristics. It doesnt matter. Winds still at 70 Miles Per Hour in five days. It either goes out towards the sea or gets picked up by this upper level low and brings it back. A bunch of computer models bring it back towards new england or the del marva peninsula. Thats about five to six days from now.
