Thank you madam president colleagues im someone so i will be proposing making some amendments i believe that the Planning Department and the mta did really great work on crafting our transit Standpoint Program and the fee is something we spell need as as city all of the colleagues have been voting 11 zero to put anymore funds into Transportation Needs in San Francisco we are dedicated to doing that i have been glad we all that had consensus we need to fight for all dollars for transportation in San Francisco weve talked about also trying to find every dollar whether we can find for the infrastructure in the city we actually have a lot of money left on the table with the transit sustainability fee i sat in at the Land Use Commission i felt that was important we bring this effort into the light of day into the legislative arena the discussion that had been done before coming to committee was in the Mayors Office setting what what the fee will be developers or creating a deal one of the on that was going on and we look at what the fee is compared to what the nexus study will measure the impacts and what were chair mar for the fee will be pay for the residential impacts and nonresidential we are also not taking into consideration that projects had that have been in the pipeline before july 1st of last year 2014 anticipating that that fee would be established yet giving them a pass for the for the most part and not doing it but collecting has much as we can.
