Are historically unpopular. Their integrity and honesty doubted by many. What can they do to win the confidence of voters . Hello and welcome to Hofstra University. I will be with you here for the next hour, largely dedicated to the big news with the debate right here tomorrow. Its expected to be the most watched debate in american political history. You can see people are pumped. Lets start with the new reaction pouring in this sunday as the campaigns are looking ahead. Here is what they are saying. I dont appreciate campaigns thinking its the job of the media to go and be these virtual Fact Checkers and these debate moderators should do their bidding. We all have the experience a few years ago of mitt romney being interrupted and being challenged on an assertion he made. I believe it was about the tragedy in benghazi. It turned out the moderator was wrong. The important thing is that the American People hear from these two candidates. We need to hear from these two candidates. I hope and trust that the moderators will facilitate that. That issue about specifics, answering those Unanswered Questions and checking people is important. Its fair game. Its fair game for both candidates to be challenged on things that they have said or things they say tomorrow night. All were asking is if donald trump lies its pointed out. Its unfair to ask for hillary to play traffic cop with trump, make sure that his lies are corrected and also to present her vision. As the candidates get ready to face off tomorrow night, theres a new poll likely voters. It shows clinton at 46 and trump at 44, gary johnson netting 5 and jill stein at 1. We have live reports from casey hunt and kelly odonnell. Casey, starting with you, what is clinton doing here in the final hours . Reporter prepare, prepare, preparing. She was up until after midnight last night. Im going to take that out. She has been doing mock debates, unlike donald trump. She has been standing on a stage practicing. Shes on sit a clinton aide who frankly has the personality that you might expect to stand in for trump. He has working with hillary long enough that he is not afraid of her. Of course, were expecting trump to at least potentially make some very personal remarks about Hillary Clinton. Its something he has done in the past. His advisers are telling him to steer clear this time. But you never know. Thats a subject matter that they are were told he is kfrltab comfortable talking about with her face to face. The challenge for Hillary Clinton her aides think is not policy or handle questions along those lines from moderator lester holt. They feel confident in her ability to talk about, say, childcare policy or isis, the middle east, foreign policy. The challenge for her is going to be those things to do with personality. We have seen her get a little bit defensive when she was asked about her emails and that commander in chief forum. They are concerned about that. They have been working on making sure she doesnt let donald trump get under her skin in any way. They also were counting on being able to provoke trump to be that guy we saw so much of in the primary, the one that they believe voters will view as unpresident ial. Somebody who is will doing get down in the gutter, willing to throw insults, say things the clinton team doesnt view are appropriate. She has been practicing, trying to figure out how to get him to go there. Trumps aides have been trying to figure out how to keep him on message. To a certain extent, they are worried about him being overprepare order trump is worried about being over prepared. Both have been studying debate tapes of the other. It sounds like from what we know on the commission on president ial debates, Hillary Clinton will get the first question when they get on stage tomorrow night. Kasie hunt, thank you. More from you im sure. We want to give people an update. New details about the faceoff between clinton and trump. They announced all of the rules, 90 minutes is the time. No commercials. Each cant each candidate is supposed to use two minutes to respond to each question. Ten minutes for open comment afterwards. The first question of the night has been confirmed, it will go to Hillary Clinton. The crowd, which can have a big impact, about 1,000 audience members. They will be basically a mix of guests provided from each campaign. Thats supposed to be fair. Plus the students here at hofstra, of course, which is hosting the event. This is the third election in a row that hofstra has been granted that honor of hosting a again election debate. This one the most watched ever as we continue to remind you. I go to kelly odonnell. Kelly, on the trump side of the lengthe ledger, what are they saying . What us through what we have heard from them and the candidate in suggesting they might have a special guest at this debate and then today were hearing maybe not. Reporter exactly. The person you are referring is Gennifer Flowers who was romantically tied to bill clinton. That nearly blew up the 92. Thats a piece of history for clintons that is not something they want to see be part of the 2016 race. There was a bit of predebate trash talking. On twitter, donald trump suggested he was inviting gennife gennif genni Gennifer Flowers. We have heard she has not been extended an invitation to join the Trump Campaign among the seats that they get. As you pointed out, roughly 1,000 seats. A third for the Clinton Campaign. A third for the Trump Campaign. And the remaining third for the university. Hofstra stepped in kind of at the last minute. You may remember there was another university that was slated to do this. The cost of the security was so heavy, several million dollars, that they had to back out. Hofstra having done it before offered to host again. I was just inside the debate hall where there is some finishing touches going on. They had the vac umeuum out to the stage ready. There was some kind of cleaning fluid that was going over the lecterns. Theres lighting adjustment happening, all of those preps. I can tell you the cheap seats among those 1,000 in the back will have a hard time even seeing the lectern. Just being in the room is certainly a an exciting ticket to have. For trump, as you have pointed out, today was also a day where he had a meeting with netanyahu, who is in the United States as a part of the extended u. N. Gathering. Both clinton and trump having those private meetings with the israeli leader. Thats been part of what the Trump Campaign has been trying to do, sort of a business as usual approach before the debate. Down playing any kind of homework or prepping, because they know Hillary Clinton has made it such a big part of her sort of predebate messaging that shes doing the hard work to get ready. Theyre trying to take the approach that he doesnt have to study as hard because his natural talents are the thing that have got him to this point and the thing that he will use on monday night. Ari . Thank you, kelly. Its fascinating if he isnt doing the mock debates. More to discuss about tomorrow nights debate. We will spend a lot of the hour digging in and in a few minutes, i will tell you, we will have special guests. Former democratic president ial candidate Martin Omalley who has himself debated Hillary Clinton. Tonight, we have very special sunday night coverage. 5 00 p. M. Eastern. Also, in case you havent heard, the debate will be on our air and a lot of air tomorrow night, right here on msnbc. We want to update you on nondebate news. The other big story in charlotte, north carolina, there are new protests today about the shooting of keith scott. Police had said they would not release the videos that they had taken of the encounter. You may have heard they said it would compromise the investigation. They have changed course. They released portions of dash and body cam footage over the weekend but held back other portions that they deemed not relevant to the incident. As always, we want to tell you, some of the images can be disturbing. Thats part of the new video provided by police from the dash cam. Scott emerges from the suv. He can be seen apparently slowly backing away, then four shots are heard. Scott falls to the ground. Police chief saying that this new video doesnt prove one way or the other that scott had a gun in his hand. Police also releasing photos of what they say was a loaded handgun found there adding it bore scotts dna and fingerprints. They say he had marijuana in his possession. T you have been following this story from the start. In addition to what you are going to tell us about the scene there, i wonder, your thoughts about police saying last week releasing video would compromise the investigation, this weekend thats what they did. Were they wrong last week or are they wrong now . Reporter you know, the police chief said that the time was right. So whether it was the right time or the wrong time, that is still to be told. Let me give you a look at whats going on here. Heavy police presence. We have police in riot gear over here. Then if we up spin across the way, we have bike cops. They have formed a change to keep protesters at a distance. Protesters arrived about 90 minutes ago. Theres maybe 200 of them. They are protesting the shooting death of Keith Lamont Scott who was shot and killed tuesday. Keep in mind, protests have been going on here. This is the sixth day. Some have been violent. Some have been peaceful. The last few days have been peaceful. The protesters are wanting their voice heard. Originally, they were demanding the release of the video. It has been released. We spoke with one woman, huge fan, football fan, has season tickets. She said shes not going into the game today in protest to whats going on in her town. Lets listen to what she had to say. We all want justice. We all want the truth. As of right now, were not getting that. I couldnt come out here and put on my blue Carolina Panthers tshirts and things without having not gotten everything that we have requested. Reporter and protesters and activists are asking nfl players across the United States today to take a knee during the national anthem. A few minutes ago it went off here. We had protesters down on their knee protesting in silent protest. Hopefully today will remain peaceful, ari. Tammy, do you have a sense there the protesters or community feel the release of the video is enough . Or that this was incomplete . They have only released parts of the video. Reporter this is the thing. We have been out here for six days with the protesters. Originally, they were asking for the release of the video. Now that the video has been released, they are still out here. That shows me that they are not satisfied with the release of the video. They are now saying they want justice. What that means, im not sure. Thats what they are demanding now, justice. Ari . Got it. Thank you. Appreciate the update. We will be back to looking at debate expectations in a moment. What will donald trump be up against when he debates Hillary Clinton . We will speak with someone who knows a thing or two about it. Former democratic president ial candidate Martin Omalley who tangled with clinton on the national stage. He joins me next. Now get 0 apr for 72 months, plus 500 bonus cash. I think its going to be a rock em sock em debate. I bet mrs. Clinton is as we speak trying to find something that will get under his skin. Thats former president ial debate moderator Carole Simpson giving her expectations for tomorrow. Joining me now is former Maryland Governor Martin Omalley. Nice to see you. Thank you. Thanks for having me. Lets start with what you thought of her as a debater. In all honesty when you were on stage together. I will tell you, shes very prepared. She has an indepth understanding of all these issues. In the debates that i was on the stage with her, she never made a gaff or never made a mistake. Shes very, very skilled at this. Shes steady. Shes disciplined. Shes well prepared. I think she on when we see her monday night, i think this will be a bit of a reframing of this campaign. I think shes going to well. She must do well. She must do it by talking directly to the American People about what they care about, wages, affordable college, the things that matter around the familys dinner table. You say she didnt make mistakes. Its certainly true is sometimes people say she can afeppear too practiced. Some people said that about you. Im not singling her out. She had her counter punch between the two of you. The truth of the matter is, secretary clinton, you did not go as far reigning in wall street as i would. The people of american deserve to have a president on their side protecting the main street economy from excesses on wall street. Second clinton, a response. First of all first of all, paul, barnie frank have endorsed my plan. We have doddfrank, it gives us the authority already to break up big banks that pose a risk to the financial sector. We never used it. Who do you think had the better of that exchange . The good old days. Like i said, shes very shes very skilled and secretary clinton is very adept. Ive been campaigning all around the country for her. I can tell you that there are a lot of people out there who are looking forward to this debate, ari. Because what we have seen for the last few weeks is it seems like its either Hillary Clinton talking about donald trump or donald trump talking about donald trump or you guys talking about donald trump. So i think people are really hungry to hear these two candidates talk about their plans for our economy and how we get wages to go up. Now that president obama put our country on a better footing of creating jobs. I think you are going to see Hillary Clinton very, very prepared. You will see a practical, sober, steady person who would make a very steady and good president of the United States. What do you think is the most important contrast for her to draw with trump . You mentioned jobs and policy. Theres also simply his demeanor and his ability to be president. You recently said he has limited brain power. Thats one line of attack. Then there have been really a series of investigative reports as you know and our viewers have seen that go beyond his style and dig into the fact that his organizations, his charities, his employees have engaged in a great deal of conduct that is questionable and under investigation and in some cases under civil and criminal inquiry. Which if any of those do you think she should focus on . I think that if i were advising secretary clinton, this is my advice. I would say that she needs to hit him back and hit him hard whenever he comes at her. And then she needs to kind of wipe the spit from her brow and bring the debate back to what matters most to the American People. In every question and in every exchange, yes, she has to be the tough person she is and hit this guy back, especially for his overtlyand his offshoring of jobs in his own companies. She needs to bring it back to the kitchen table, back to affordable college, how do we get wages to go up. The good news is with the news of last week showing median family incomes going up 2,800 for the First Time Since this recession, she has firm ground to stand on in painting that story of whats truly happening in our economy rather than giving in to his story that were all headed to hell in a hand basket. Governor, while i have you, i want to ask about some of the policing controversies. You have experience in this as a mayor and governor in a city, baltimore, that we know has had its share of troubles. When you look at the situation in charlotte as we were discussing just before the last commercial break, you have a police force that one day says we cant release the videos because that compromises the investigation, then another day releases part of the videos, then there are questions over whether thats all the video. Is charlottes police force on the disclosure side doing this the right way . What do you think is the best approach . There are so many questions about the conduct of policing right now. Yeah. I think that Police Departments all over the country are trying to figure out how they can be open and transparent and meet public expectations and public trust in an era when video Cell Phone Technology is everywhere. So some of the old rules that would say, look, you have to keep the evidence you have to keep the evidence close, you dont reveal the evidence until the investigation is done, i think all of those sorts of old rules have to go out the window here. I believe that Police Departments all over the u. S. Need to figure out very, very quickly how to get to full disclosure in the aftermath of policeinvolved shootings and also how to make decisions much more quickly than we have in the past. I think you see charlotte doing its very best to get ahead of to catch up to public expectations. But none of us around the country are really there yet, ari. I understand the argument that you shouldnt release video, that that would somehow taint a jury. I was a prosecutor and defense attorney myself. But i think those issues can be addressed, if there is a trial, of an officer, i think those can be addressed by removing the venue and moving it to a different jurisdiction. I believe whats in the publics best interest is full and immediate disclosure of these sorts of videos and these incidents. Governor Martin Omalley, thank you. Appreciate you joining us today. Thank you, ari. What donald trump just said, brandnew, about whether his foundation has broken any laws. The answer actually might surprise you. Also a trump surrogate on for their perspective. Before we take a break, a most memorable recollection from debate history. Ronald reagan is running for reelection. The oldest candidate to be running for president. He is 73. There are some concerns about his ability, especially mentally, to keep doing the job. In the first debate, there are moments when reagan seems he is lost for words. He seems to go blank. Walter mondale says that was the one moment he believed he could win. The second debate, he knows the questions coming. I will not make age an issue of this campaign. I am not going to exploit for political purposes my opponents youth and inexperience. Its a great moment because obviously its a great line. The crowd loved it. You catch mondale, he cant help but laugh. He has said since then that that moment, he knew the election was over and that was it. Watch it on msnbc tomorrow at 9 00 eastern. Today we have a special lineup of a preview show. That begins at 5 00 eastern. We want you to know about that. Lets get right to it. Hillary clinton and donald trump preparing for a debate expected to draw as many viewers as the super bowl. Tomorrow night the two face off. Its the first time they will be together in the general election season. Steve cortez, thanks for being here. How nervous are you for a guy celebrated for being new to politics . But he is new to debates. He does not have the experience. Maybe you know for sure, he is not doing practice debates. He is preparing but not like many things about donald trump and about his campaign, its unorthodox. I can tell you. I would have been worried if not for the primary season. He went through a dozen primary debates. I think he debates like steph curry does basketball. He does it well and makes it look effortless. He was going against heavyweights. These were serious contenders, master debaters, ted cruz. He dispatched them one by one, 16 oopponents. Im very confident even though he is not practicing the way Hillary Clinton has been for decades, i believe he will shine here tomorrow night. One other thing we were talking about that can hurt him since you are here to represent him, we will give you the chance to respond. People who say he was effective in those days say he was reactive. Which can work. But he would tee off everyone and find his moment. Thats much harder to do in 90 minutes. These are somber affairs, at least historically. The moderator tends to go through and say here is domestic policy, here is another issue, here is your response. Is that an issue if he has to do that . Will he get bored . He looked bored on the trip to mexico. I dont think he will get bored in an hour and a half. You bring up a good point. Its a different dynamic. In the primary debates, he played the crowd effectively. While there is a live audience, its instructed they have to remain silent. This is less a rally and more a funeral or a Church Service where they have to be respectful and quiet. Thats a different dynamic. I think that this man has showed he has defied critics all along the way from the beginning. Including me, by the way. I used to be a critic. He was not my candidate. He is now. I have come around and speak to you with the zeal of a convert in favor of donald trump now. But i was skeptical for largely these reasons. Could he be serious enough . Could he handle the dynamic . Would he be president ial . I think what we will see tomorrow night is he will rise to the occasion and be incredibly president ial. He will make points forcefully. But he will do so without being belittling toward Hillary Clinton or anyone else. Then you look at some of the recent tweets and the trash talk. Thats the era we live in. He brings up, i could invite gener Gennifer Flowers. Then your colleagues said, thats not a formal plan. What is that supposed to convey . Is that really an attack on Hillary Clinton . What did Hillary Clinton do wrong there in his view . I dont think its an attack on Hillary Clinton. I think he was being funny. When he uses sarcasm the media is willing to attach the most nefarious whats the funny part . Because he is at his home life and his marriage whats the funny part . If Hillary Clinton thinks shes going to bring in celebrities like march cuban, that donald trump is going to be intimidated. He says, im impossible to intim dat intimidate. It was not the right move . I would admit. I concede when i think theres a misstep. That was a very tiny misstep. Whats the biggest headline you want coming out of tomorrow nights debate . That trump acts president ial. That he conveys to the American People he is ready to occupy this job with incredible gravity. Number two, we want to see him deliver the plan for the way forward. 70 of the American People believe the country is headed in the wrong direction. I think they think that because we are in terms of our economy, by some measures, we had the slowest decade of Economic Growth in our history, in terms of security, the world has gotten less safe because of Hillary Clintons policies. He needs to deliver the plan, the way forward for prosperity and for security. I think he will do that effectively tomorrow night. Thanks for joining us. We wish you luck tomorrow night. Joining me also on set is Abbey Phillip for the washington pos post. Lets start here, abby, you hear mr. Cortez, the trump folks saying he will check those boxes on being president ial and being somber. How do they walk that line . Are they doing it . I think its tricky and its all in the preparation. The thing with donald trump is what does he do when he is on i had own . When he is on that debate stage and its just him, Hillary Clinton and a moderator, and i think Hillary Clinton and her campaign have been working on how to not only prepare her to deal with what trump is saying but to get her to get trump to say things that his campaign might not want him to. To provoke him. So thats part of the dynamic here, that were probably going to see tomorrow night. I dont think even mr. Cortez or anybody really knows whats going to happen when trump is out there on his own. Dont know if donald trump knows whats going to happen. What do they call that . The joy and the agony. Amy, i want to play for you sound of donald trump striking what sounds like an odd note as he was responding to something we reported on here, the problems around his charity and some of the Financial Management and spending. This is new. Take a listen to this. Are you confident that the Trump Foundation has followed all charitable rules and laws . I hope so. My lawyers do it. We give way money. I dont make anything. I take no salaries. I take no any costs. I have zero costs. A lot of money goes through the Trump Foundation into charities. Goes to charities. It doesnt go to me, it goes to charities. The problem there is twofold. He says i hope so. You want your client to say more than i hope i followed the law. That may be word choice. The other part is, then he says the money goes elsewhere. It doesnt go to me. Thats the whole problem. They were using the Charity Funds this is not in dispute to do things to personally benefit him like settle other lawsuits or buy paintings of him. Yeah. You have that on the heels of this Washington Post report that came out last week. You Better Believe that the Clinton Campaign is going to seize on that moment and say, no, look here, you guys have been criticizing us for our foundation. We do good work around the world. You guys are using your money to throw around and settle lawsuits and something about a flagpole in Palm Beach County and how they settled that. They will come equipped with all these examples. Thats going to sort of be a counter to the way they view trump and the way the gop has seen and has labeled the Clinton Foundation. They think the Clinton Foundation has been above board and not necessarily paying off lawsuits and that kind of thing. Look for a counter there. Definitely look for them to come well equipped to handle those points. I want to ask you on the clinton side you followed her expensively. Wrote a book about her. Here is some of the breakdown in the new poll on trust. Shes in a dead heat on a bunch of issues. On the economy, voters saying they trust trump more by 7 points. A draw or terrorism. If you would have told on healthcare and the middle class it would be a four point split on trust, i think she would spit her coffee out. Is this not an issue . I think its going to have to be an issues election. Its a little troublesome for them on the economy, the numbers on the economy. But i think you are going to look to see them use president obama in a way, in the coming days. Use Michelle Obama in that same way. They will pivot and they will piggyback on his legacy. They are happy to. He is above 50 right now. They think that he has done good on healthcare and she was she had her fingerprints on the healthcare matter as well. They will really try to talk about that and try to talk about the good things that she has done in the last eight years. Because they think the president that president owe be obamas legacy speaks for itself. Theres no question the Clinton Campaign has to win the argument on the economy if theyre going to win this election. They have prosecuted a case against trump for last seven months on his temperament. They flooded tens of millions of dollars in ads on that issue, on a single minded focus on his temperament. If you look at the numbers, the public hasnt really gotten the message about what shes going to do. Thats a real failure up until this point. They have 42 days to rectify that if theyre going to pull ahead in some of these states. Thats why we are seeing ohio where shes losing ground. I think you will probably see pennsylvania get closer as we move forward. Its about winning the argument on the issues in addition to making whatever case they will make against his personality or his temperament or readiness for job. The Clinton Campaign complains, they give a child healthcare speech and no one covers. Tomorrow, they will be wherever it is, 50 to 100 million voters will hear it. This is a key inflection point. Abbey and amie, steve, everyone in the block, appreciate it. Thank you. We will talk to someone who has moderated a debate and helped politicians prepare. Thats part of the civic purpose of whats being accomplished up there on the stage. You want to test their premises, test what they have been saying on the campaign trail. But you also dont want to make it about you. If the next morning they are talking about you and what you did, maybe you didnt strike that balance correctly. Scott, the campaigns are to that point working the reves a lot. They try to get everyone talking about this. Who do you think that benefits more in this case . Well, i think we all remember back to 2012 when one moderator teamed up with president obama to sort of tag Team Mitt Romney in the corner over a statement that he made. You remember that. In this election, people are saying things that arent true, its probably is a judgment of the media, donald trump. If you are the Trump Campaign, you might be worried about that being fact checked all the time. But then again, trump is not as passive as mitt romney might have been. Even if the Fact Checking does occur, im not sure mr. Trump is going to take it like mitt romney did there 2012. Right. I mean, its a good point. Mitt romney buckled there even though the particular nuance of the transcript was on his side, although it was a relatively kind of hidden point being made. The politics and the optics hurt him. Nina, you say, if donald trump gets into it and can get it looking like he is in a fight with the press, that could help him. It could. You saw that during the republican debate. Mr. Trump was very skillful at that. So the person thats moderating should be invisible for the most part until its time to call a foul. Even when they call the foul, it has to be done in such a way that it doesnt seem like they are trying to advantage one candidate over the other. I agree with you, if it cops down to mr. Trump getting into an argument with the moderator, that will give him the advantage, especially among his supporters. Nothing that mr. Trump is going to say tomorrow night is going to change how his supporters feel about him. I would say the same thing about secretary clinton. Right. But thats at the same tie, why the debates are so important. You have people less decided watching finally. Sometimes for the first time in the fall. Nina, listen to robby mook on the trail today basically making the argument theres a curve here that trump benefits from. Here it is. Im very concerned that donald trump will be graded on a curve. Because he doesnt fly off the handle in the middle of the debate does not mean he is prepared to be president of the United States. He needs to have coherent answers to the questions. He needs to demonstrate a command of the issues. And he needs to roll out specific plans about how he is going to make life better for americans. Nina . Ari, while some of that may be true, its really up to secretary clinton to draw that point out and not the moderator. At the same time, i would say the same thing about mr. Trump. Theres no crying in baseball. Both candidates have made it. Mr. Trump beat out 16 other contenders. The secretary beat out three others on the democratic side. They are going head to head. Its going to be up to each one of them to prove the point, to show the weaknesses of their opponent. But i think even more beyond that, the drama that has taken place in this entire president ial election that a lot of voters are tired of that. Its going to be if secretary clinton is able to contrast in a strong way with heart and feeling because we know that she has the facts and that shes very skilled, but people want to hear some heart action happening tomorrow. If she is able to do that, she will in fact win that debate tomorrow. I dont think mr. Trump should sleep on her skills and on the other side, secretary clinton of course, will not take mr. Trump for granted either. For all the talk about Fact Checking, i want to fact check something you said. There is no crying in baseball. That is true. I just want our viewers to have the benefit of knowing that fact checks out. Scott, with or without the crying, donald trump does complain a lot and says everything is rigged against him. Do you think in your view he has to cut that out when its primetime tomorrow . The main mission for donald trump in this debate is to look president ial. At this point, there are a lot of people looking to figure out, can i really do this. Theyre not looking necessarily for any policy answer. Theyre looking nor demeanor does he look like a president on television. I would stay out of the fights, out of the insults and look the part. Hes done that in recent weeks. He went to louisiana, he went to detroit. He did the meeting in mexico. Hes starting to do things to make him look president ial. If he gets over ha hump, were already in a close race. He could take the lead if he does that well in a debate like monday night. Ray, what do you think . Ari, were in a really weird, weird situation. If Hillary Clinton shows command of the facts, that almost ends up being a wash for her. People will walk away from the television saying well, shes been at this a long time. Of course, she has command of the facts. It ends up not being a plus factor. If donald trump doesnt have command of the facts as weve seen copiously over the last two months, it seems not to the matter. So i mean, thats grading on a cuff on steroids. Its sort of in another context the soft bigotry of low expectations. I really appreciate you citing george w. Bush on the affirmative action case for donald trump, plus the baseball. We are backing with nina turner, ray suarez and scott jennings. Our lightning round panel. Nina, what headlines do you think would come out tuesday . Well, i know for democrats, hoping that the headline is secretary clinton spoke to the heart of the matter, on the issues of concern to the people that she did a magnificent job, but that the point is its not just the facts. It is how can we convince the American People that the Democratic Party is does deserve to be back in the white house and will serve the people. Scott, what but . I think republicans are hoping for a headlines that says donald trump looks the part and holds his own against Hillary Clinton. He took on someone around a lot longer than him and took her on on issues and president ial demeanor. That would be a good outcome for the republicans. And ray, you look at all this coming together here. What do you think beyond wins and losses is the most important headline to come out of it . Split decision, both candidates realize their weakness as candidates and people and warily circle each other rather than trying to land a knockout blow. Even though it has the largest audience, it may be one of the most boring of the three. Well, a note of humility and tamping down expectations, ray suarez, thank you for that.
