The election is pretty much right up on us. 800,000 democrats that never voted there and they will get a ballot. Probably going to have 10 million to 7. 5 million voting before the election between absentee and inperson. The challenging thing from a campaign standpoint, you know, you want your story to be arced. Now people vote in the second and the third chapter of the book. Incumbent campaigning on tv, making calls. So, when you are looking at the polls, and i get your point that you are smart enough to not make a prediction on the show because you know how strange things are in florida when it comes to what actually happens on election night. What are the trends you are looking for if the poll numbers, if biden breaks away by 2 . Will that make you think biden is in better shape or is that not the way thaw think of florida Election Results . I think this is a dog fight until the end. Even in 2008 when it looked like we were in good shape for the last four or five weeks, we saw numbers in the last week making us anxious. I think this will be close to the end. If you are joe biden, the thing you really like is that most of the polls he is getting in the low 40s among white voters because of white seniors and suburban white women driving higher support than Hillary Clinton got. Hillary clinton, about 32 of the white vote. The same time not doing as well with hispanic voters. Doing what we did in 08. Not like he is doing poorly. I think you begin to see the hispanic number Getting Better for him and the white number stays where it is. How does one do that in florida, particularly coronavirus . How does one increase their standing with any given demographic. Issue driven or Something Else . I mean it is just a volume of things. You know, i think for example right now he is not doing as well with noncuban hispanics as he should be. I think sending senator harris down to miami was a brilliant move. The country has gone up in south florida to help with that. The campaign, i can tell you. I am in a pretty swing precinct. I get about three texts a week from the organizer in my community. I think they are trying to do the best they can to talk to voters without going door to door and risking issues with the virus. For a lot of the voters it will be hand to hand combat until the end.
