Accused of. And thats the point, to send a message. As trump prepared these pardons, he discussed using his pardon power to commute the sentence of roger stone which would keep him out of jail despite being convicted in the mueller probe. So as Trumps Justice Department faces one of its greatest controversies over cutting the recommended prison time for of course, mr. Stone, thousands of doj veterans calling on barr to resign, barr claiming that he basically objects only to trump tweeting about that case. All of that is happening and trump makes this move blatant helping a politician convicted of bribery, the former apprentice contestants who was convicted and jailed for bribery. Thats important to keep in mind of trump also now pardoning billionaire michael milken, convicted of lying to authorities. If all of that were not clear enough, right here, right now with this breaking story, President Trump made a point of using this power for someone who is not even in prison anymore with you tied on trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani who is under investigation for the same thing. This is man giuliani installed as the chief of the new york police department, Bernard Kerik. All of that before his spectacular fall where he was convicted of tax fraud. The charges against him are serious. Rudolph giulianis former righthand man was formally arained on corruption charges. He second 255,000 in renovations to his home from a contractor. Then tried to convince city regulators the contractor was not connected to the mob and should be hired for city contracts. Conspiracy, wire fraud, mail fraud, evading taxes on half a million dollars, lying to the irs, lying on a loan application. Bernard kerik could be facing prison time after pleading guilty to felonies. The new york commissioner admitted he lied to the white house and he admitted to hiding income from the irs and faking a charitable contribution. Were showing you all of. News coverage from that time because this is very important. Under the law, those kinds of charges, which as you just heard, he ultimately pleaded guilty to many of them. Theyre considered especially serious when committed by the very people entrusted to carry out the law like a police chief or yes, a president. As we were reporting last week on this case, the blagojevich case because abusing the office extort a benefit. We reported that trump was musing about the plague pardon of the governor before the ukraine plot was even exposed. Raising the question of whether this is trump trying literally gut the impact of our anticorruption federal laws before your very eyes. To claim it is all maybe okay now. That elected officials should just have unchecked power. That is how many experts viewed Donald Trumps pardon for Bush White House aide Scooter Libby. Remember that . That was two years ago. Libby considered himself the target of an unfair prosecution, as the New York Times reported at the time. Other president s have certainly faced criticism for wielding their pardon power including bill clintons pardon for financier mark rich, investigate bade doj official names jim comey. And of course those republican pardons of iran contra figures, also controversial. What youre seeing here is President Trump breaking records and hitting a new low for the breakdown of justice in the pardon process. These blatant political and messaging pardons. They favor the rich and famous. Very obviously so. And the president also succumbing to his well known obsession on this weighty issue with celebrities, television. That brings me to another point that i want you to know. Giuliani ally bernie kerik was on fox last night. As was blagojevichs nummelin has also made the case on fox for a pardon looking right through camera. I just pardoned brernl kerik. A man who had many recommendations from a lot of good people. Bernie skairk a former new york police commissioner. People elected Rudy Giuliani because crime was at its highest. I really rely on the recommendations of people here know them. We have commuted the sentence of Rob Blagojevich. I watched his wife on television. What would be your pitch to pardoning your husband . The laws, the fbi and power hungry overzealous prosecutors like Patrick Fitzgerald who prosecuted both my husband and Scooter Libby to go after anyone they dont like. It was a prosecution by the same people who told me fitzpatrick, the same group. In this long running debate in america right now, over whether this president is totally clueless or brilliantly strategic or somewhere in between, the actions that impact his own interests, his own well being, his own legal liability can often be the most telling. As weve reported this novice to government who has seemed so interested in filling so many positions, hes been laser focused on two offices with jurisdiction over him and his businesses, new york and washington. Personally meeting with those candidates for office including preet bharara. He removed one prosecutor and saw four more resign on yes, roger stone. It all comes down to him. And donald trump says mr. Stone a candidate for pardon. And he says he wants to sue those four prosecutors involved in the stone case. This is what i mean about how to analyze. Is he just talking about here remembers from the simpler days of celebrity apresent snis or is he looking at the most controversial acts torsion normalize with it the pardons for political figures, from sheriff joe, his first pardon, toss Scooter Libby to now governor blagojevich. Other pardons for other Giuliani Associates in cases that he ultimately needs as he gets closer and closer to if he needs to, pardon someone like giuliani or convicts in the mueller probe. This is its serious as a heart attack. Intimidation of law, investigation, prison, into a political weapon against rivals. It is of course what he was also impeached over. And it is the same fact pattern that he was recently acquitted of by the republican senate. For all the cheery political talk about not taking donald trump literally, now it is one of those nights where it is worth sitting up. Paying attention and listening very closely. You can see it in the open. Judge it by its actions. Taking him literally could be the largest mistake of all. Crooked hillary clinton, shes crooked, folks. Crooked as a 3 bill. Lock her up is good. Its ally good that someone with the temperament of donald trump is not in charge of the law in our country. Because you would be in jail. Who specifically are you accusing of treason . You look at comey, mccabe, if you look at probably people, hot people higher than that. If they were honest about it, they would start a Major Investigation into the bidens. Were joined tonight by a law professor at nyu, and glen kishner who was also inside the roger stone courtroom today. Thanks to both of you for joining me tonight. Glen, when you view these pardons, do you view they will as potentially corrupt or an abuse of power or as the president s lawful and proper discretion . He has the right to issue these pardons. We call it pardon palooza. The president really believes he has the right to weaponize the powers of his office, to punish his enemies, and to sort of bestow benefits on his friends. If you let the president talk long enough, he will tell you what he is really thinking, what is really motivating. I heard him talking about the blagojevich pardon. And he ultimately got around to saying, well, you know, you know who the prosecutors were in that case. It was Patrick Fitzgerald. And you know what . Hes friends with comey. Hes telling you right there that what he was doing was weaponizing that pardon as a way, a misguided way to punish his enemy, comey. And by extension, comeys friend, Patrick Fitzgerald. It reminded me of when he fired Lieutenant Colonel vindman for speaking the truth about him and then gratuitously punished his brother. If thats not trump sending a signal that i will punish you, i will punish your friends, i will punish your family in any way that i have at my disposal, including the pardon power. I dont know what is. Lets be clear. President s use executive clemency for lots of reasons, often to send a policy message. President barack obama xikd clemency 2,000 times during his presidency. All to make the point that he thought that low level nonviolent drug offenses were a problem. So most of the people who benefited from his clemency were people who had been convicted of these drug charges. The president today is also sending a message. This is a very different message than one about policy drug charges. This is a broader question about article two for his own political gainful. I dont think im minimizing it. It is invested in the president in article two. President s have the option to wield i as they choose. Some have chosen about legislative action. And others are using it for other reasons. Like we saw gerald ford pardon Richard Nixon before he was even convicted to make a stand about national unity. Were seeing the president today using that power to make a stand about preserving his own skin. Do you think these good idea pardons . Theyre not my pardons to issue. I will say, it is surprising. If you look at the individuals who are pardoned, largely men. He think hes only pardoned one would. Lots of individuals have been convicted of serious offenses against the public trust. Thats concerning. You mention the public trust. That really stands out. I think with blagojevich, who is also in our wild world, a Celebrity Apprentice contestant, someone that the president was musing about, Public Officials should be able to do whatever they want. So in that context, as melissa says, it may be driving a mention to the country. What is the message . That Public Officials should get away with . What accountability should there be . Take a look at what we learned about quid pro quo bribery in the initial blagojevich case here. The governor of the state of illinois was engaged in behavior in an attempt, quid pro quo, to trade a u. S. Senate seat for something of value. He didnt do anything. So you disagree with mr. Langs could not financial offering something of value of course i dont disagree with that. Offering is a crime. Where does it say he offered anything . There was a pretty clear offer for a senate seat. Certain considerations. This comes, glen, with the question of whether donald trump wants to rewrite history. That was a case where there was bipartisan condemnation of the convicted corruption, bribery, abuse of power. Is this a way of saying maybe that was never a bad thing in the first place . That may be part of what is motivating him. I really see this as a softening of the ground to prepare the American People for, i dont want to stay more consequential pardons to come but the ones that more directly aid the president himself, because if he pardons or commutes the extension of roger stone, of michael flynn, paul manafort, that is nothing but a president ial coverup plain and simple. What i will say is that prosecutors kind of famously are antipardon. We do pour a lot of time and energy and we pour our hearts into public corruption prosecutions in particular. It is our job to hold government officials accountable. When they violate the public trust, were protecting the American People. It is not just the prosecutors who he apparently is seeking to punish in some insubstantials. You have fbi agencies who pour their hearts and south into these cases. Witnesses, paralegals, judges, the whole system pulls together to hold wrongdoers accountsable. And trump with a wave of his regal hands does away with all of it. Which is a slam in the face to all lieabiding americans. Thank you so much. Melissa, stay, i want to bring in u. S. Senator Richard Blumenthal who sits on the Judiciary Committee and is a former prosecutor. Plenty of expertise here. Take a listen to how these cases overlamb. Blagojevich and trump and whether this is a nation in 2020 where abuse of power is something at the highest levels of government is basically deterred and punished or whether thats now being embraced. The case is a fairytale. It is a witch hunt. I hear its a joke. Im not going to quate job the people hired me to do because of false accusations and a political lynch mob. He said he was theville of a quote, lynching. It is a word that many people have used over the years. The fact that he might say, blagojevich might say it offends people doesnt make him impeachable. I donal believe it was impeachable. Do you think donald trump beating the senate trial on impeachment emboldens him . What really has embolden him is not tonight acquittal in the senate trial but the silence of my republican colleagues afterward. That to me is as striking. Theyre becoming active participant, aiders and abettors in unleashing him in this way. And you said that it is a heart attack moment. I couldnt agree more. On my walls in my office, i have lots of pictures with famous people. I also have the seal of the department of justice. I served as the United States attorney. What that seal means to me is justice and the department of justice have to be independent and impartial. And i look temperature seal these days and im proud. Im also sad. And i am angry. Thats the reason why close the 2,000 prosecutors have written a letter denouncing the corruption of justice in the department of justice and by the president himself who was hf krumingt cor are. Also a spineless republican majority who is enabling him. And giuliani as mentioned was at the center of the ukraine plot. He was also at least a person of interest, if not a subject of the investigation in new york. So it is quite that mr. Kerik who was literally as i pointed out, in business with giuliani. Not in prison anymore so there isnt even an alleged humanitarian reason to reopen this discussion. And i covered this. Many members of the nypd were very upset with him. Most officers do not. He was at the top acting that way. The president comes in. And he said while hes under investigation, i want to play what mr. Giuliani said. He admitted it was all a mistake to ever get involved with kerik. Take look at that from the archive. I think voters should look at it. What they should say is, in that particular case. I point out that i made a mistake in not clearing him. I take responsibility for that. Do you view this as trying to send an improper message to the open on probe that involves giuliani . I think it sends a lot of messages to a lot of places. It all boils down to the message that donald trump can do anything he wants. And it is part of a pattern, beginning with bill barrs confirmation where he said in effect, there is a unitary, he can commit obstruction because he is in charge of the department of justice. The president repeating this fallacious and very dangerous myth. The idea that he has an imperial presidency, and the message is, i can pardon, i can interfere, i can deannounce judges. Thats why you have very significantly an emergency meeting of the Judges Association to in effect try to exercise some oversight here. And i think that when the history of this dark era is written, the heroes will be the independent judiciary and frankly, the free press which is uncovering a lot of it. You talk about searching for heroes. That brings me to you, professor. I come to you with the hardest question at the end. We often learn from you, the big picture of what you tell your students. For people watching this, if this evidence lines up this way, this looks like it is bad and getting worse. What do you say to them . So i am teaching constitutional law right now at nyu. The other day my students and i talked about a case, nixon versus fitzgerald about, the president s immunity from civil suits. One of the things the court says, in immunizing the president from civil suits, he is not a king. He is still subject to other checks. The prospect of his legacy. When i said all these things class, my students laughed. And i dont think ive ever been more disheartened as a lawyer and a teacher to be in front of 112 new lawyers. People who are learning to be lawyers who are so jaded and cynical about the prospect of justice. And the powers of the president being vested in someone who does not use them for the public trust but clearly for his own gains. And its sad. That is a profound story you just shared as wreth about the next generation of lawyers, public servants, some people risk their lives and what are they standing for. What do they believe is possible. Thats sobering. Im going to fit in a break. We went 21 minutes, longer than usual. Thanks to you, senator blumenthal, my thanks to professor murray. We have a lot more on the show. Well discuss the rule of law and what advice he has for young people say if theyre not laughing him out of the lecture hall for saying what we want to believe in. Also, later tonight, well show you new evidence in the democratic race and why Mike Bloomberg will be on tomorrow nights debate stage for the first time. And later, the Justice Department now justifying why it is taking ukraine conspiracy theories from giuliani and why they say theyre open to everyone. To be honest a little t never bothered me. Until i found out what it actually was. Dust mite droppings eeeeeww dead skin cells gross so now, i grab my swiffer sweeper and heavyduty dusters. Duster extends to three feet to get all that gross stuff gotcha and for that nasty dust on my floors, my sweepers on it. The textured cloths grab and hold dirt and hair no matter where dust bunnies hide. No more heebie jeebies. Phew. Glad i stopped cleaning and started swiffering. He has argued dozens of cases with the Supreme Court and an analyst with msnbc. Good evening, sir. Good evening. Neil, he know you heard part of the conversation we just had in the early block. It was one of those where i was at a loss for words. Before i get into any of my prepared questions for you, i have some, your thoughts on all this. This story. Yes. I heard her talk about how her students were so disheartened. Trump seems the get away with everything and i understand this sentiment. I really want to push back against it. I think this country has a robust tradition of law. And yes, the president has gotten away with so much. But i have news for him. The law will come after him. What he is doing is lawless. It is unprecedented. It breaks every rule in our constitutional democracy and the law will finds a way to catch up with him. He can pardon his maralago friends and pardon his campaign contributors, and this or that. One way or another, our system robust enough between the press and the courts to bring him and his ilg to justice. And it will happen. When, i really dont want people, i get what professor murray is saying but i really want people to understand that there is still a lot out there and a lot of work to be done west shouldnt give up. The american experiment at its base is all about a system of laws, were a government of laws, not of men to use the constitution of 1780. It is striking to hear you say that. That was the conversation pouring over. More than one view about what this means. And whether it means the president can technically do something and then the question of whether it, in concert with another pattern, is a potential abuse of power in itself whoox meddling is going on and how it will be investigated by the coequal branch, whether or not the impeachment trial is over. Mr. Barr will be headed in to face congress. He was clearly moved to some degree by the public criticism of experts and doj veterans like yourself. At a time when we often focus on the washington part of the story. Mr. Blagojevich was governor to this pardon today. Take listen. I saw a governor who was rogue on on steroids. He didnt care about the state of illinois. He cared about his own ambition. It is just because the celebrity of Rob Blagojevich which he is getting this time of relief and i think it wrong and it saenlen bad message to the people that you dont have to pay your debt to society. Thats one of the Republican Leaders of the house, a credit to him for speaking his mind against the president. Your reaction. Exactly. Thats the kind of beautiful sentiment that americans have. The simple idea that justice is blind. Literally, lady justice is a blind folded individual in the statutes. And you shouldnt get out of jail because youre the president s friend or you met him at the country club our gave him a campaign contribution. Conversely, you shouldnt put people in jail and throw book at them as the president has tried to do, or call for prosecution, sill reply because they have different politics than you. He is supposed to be the president of the entire country. I want to commend that republican and thats of others like him. Because this is now a war for the heart and soul of what america is about. Do we believe were a system of laws . Or do we believe this president can just do what he wants because he happens to be good for the stock market or whatever . Or whatever. Indeed. I always benefit from having you on the program. Let me remind everyone, you can go to msnbc. Com opening arguments. You can see this and other arguments with neal katyal. Talk to your doctor, and call 8442142424. I want to begin with the context. When we cover this race, well always show you the evidence first. Merg has been plowing record spending into the race and now he is rising in several ways. Let me show you the money. Mayor bloomberg spending more than 124 million on ads targeting the key super tuesday states. Thats remarkably ten times more than his rivals. And bloomberg who has been in the race for less time than any of the other democrats is finding a big boost in one of those super tuesday states. Take look at virginia polling showing bloomberg and sanders now tied for first place in the state at 22 . Meanwhile, a story weve been bringing you here. The dnc has changed its rules for how the qualify for the debate stage. The results in for who that new rule change helps. One candidate. Mike bloomberg. Under the new rules has qualified. Thanks to two new national polls. Bloomberg on the scene here, and sandsers Still Holding a very strong position which helps explain the shame of the race right now. Were seeing senator sanders sharpening his attack. Mr. Bloomberg has a right to run for president. He does not have a right to buy the presidency. We say to mr. Bloomberg, you are certainly not going to win when you have a record in new york city that included racist policies like stop and frisk. We are a democracy. Not an oligarchy. Listen to what youre hearing and think about the wider race. As this Democratic Party has moved to the economic left with two candidates running explicitly against billionaires, the billionaire class, now all of a sudden, a billionaire and former republican jumps into this race. The other candidate, of course, is senator elizabeth warren. She had a strong finish in iowa and now calling happy billionaire. Tomorrow were going to see all of these debates in person for the first time with Michael Bloomberg on the stage in vegas and note while he was fly there for the debate, he is not even tech nick will on the ballot for this and thats part of how he is managing expectations. He is trying to say that hes not really competing. We have professor cooper and a former adviser to president obamas press secretary and now with vote. Org. Nice to see you both. Thank you. This is something else. This is a mess. If it were a movie, a socialist, senator warren, and then a billionaire. Thats trying to make it too much of a character. On the other hand were hearing from some democrats who say it matters who has the money and the experience and the media fortitude to deal with this particular incumbent. I want to strongly disagree with anyone who claims what we need is a trump to beat a trump. We need another manhattan racist who has really terrorized africanamericans for the better part of a couple of decades with aer suies of racist policies to stand up against the person in the white house who is already doing that. What i also want to think about, we do see his numbers, bloombergs popularity, increasing and there is a lot of concern about why thats happening. I think his rising in the poll reflects a lack of faith in american he institutions. This idea that theyve already been given over to money. If youre going to roll in the mud, 200 get dirty with them. To me, the challenge of. In that kind of logic, it sounds like pie in the sky to say, no, take a risk. Vote for a progressive candidate. The challenge is, africanamericans cannot afford another center led democrat in the presidency. We cant afford anyone who has these terrible policies on crime. Terrible policies on housing and a general disregard for people of color. Thats all that were seeing. It hangs over all of this. People may have seen them. A lot of them show Mike Bloomberg with barack obama. You worked in that press office. For one, i will say i hear every candidate trying to make their cases for why they need to be commander in chief. The one thing i dont hear people making the case for is that what does democracy look like when we have fair and equal representation . I dont see as much emphasis. If i was a candidate, whether youre the top pulling candidate, the numbers hawaii and happen happen will for voter turnout, i mean, historic lows. I think people should be concerned that going into the democratic convention, i say it will look like season one of a real housewives reunion. I think right now, the plot line of the election, it feels like tyler perry movie. A little of everything. You have a millionaire, someone who pulled them up by the bootstraps, formerly someone who was in the tech space. If it is a tyler perry movie, the question is is Michael Bloomberg putting on a wig . You would have a happy ending. Let me ask you this. Do you think as he rightful heir to the obama legacy which is what hes running on if. To be honest, the obama legacy is shared. The rightful heirs are the exact people had put him there. Who gave small dollar donations. Im going to push you like i push everyone. Is that a yes or no . Do i think hes the rightful heir . I dont think any candidate can say that they are the rightful heir. It is a shared legacy. Thats what president obama ran on. Ill push further and say, i guess you can argue that it is some spectrum. What were hearing from some groups, wait a minute. People like warren, sanders, and obviously joe biden have more of a claim to obama style policy than this former republican mayor. But people, including one of your former colleagues, David Plouffe said someone came up to him and asked, did you hear that this. No. Discloerk you are to the audience. Im about to Say Something not technically true. He said of all the people, why is obama backing bloomberg . Because the ads, form point, let me show the facts. When you look at the 2020 ads, this is where the race is once you get out of the early states where you can do grass routes. Take a look. They have spent 5 million or more. Warr warren, buttigieg, sanders. Take look at mr. Steyer who has over 100 ms. Now look at mr. Bloomberg. Already 318 million. The big money does not belong in politics. Thats a thing we know. This is not a conversation about obamas legacy. None of these people is an heir to obamas legacy. I have great almost for president obama. The idea that he was really a boone for africanamericans who were the people i care most about, certainly, i dont know that we can make kind of argument. Part of what i think is that bloomberg is playing on africanamerican fear. By saying time guy who can handle it. No. Hes playing on africanamerican fear by saying one, obama endorse think me in a different set of political conditions like this one and then making it seem like they cant see that the endorsements are from the are 2008, 2011. One more thing. The man will step on the stage tomorrow. The Democratic Party as well have reported said we wont change the rules to let in people. They wouldnt change the ruse when cory booker said wasnt fair. This was last month. Take a look. We made the rules. They were very transparent. Theyre very inclusive. And we cant change the rules mid stream because theres a dad that i wish were on but didnt make the debate stage is it fair that they have changed the rules . It is under fair, outrageous. What we have now is three white men dominating the race. The Democratic Party knows thats not their base. Here is the silver lining. Bloomberg needs to be tested. He needs to assistant up against these candidates and he needs to be debated, confront about his terrible legacies. Youre saying, not fair. But youre glad hes on the stage. Absolutely. If he is running at this level, then he needs to be vested. My argument is the only reason hes gotten this far, people havent had to see him up against better tested candidates. So it will work out in the end to have him on that stage. The dnc deserves to be called out. Really fast. Im out of time. Weve been watching such a long show. Always great to see you. Your first time on the beat. So excited to be here. I want to say that the campaign that president obama ran in 2008, i just ask your viewers, would that be the campaign that could deliver today . I dont know. You cant use the same methods. Thank you. A programming note. Tomorrow nights debate will air right here msnbc. Look at all of our colleagues and more. 9 00 p. M. Eastern. His current lawyer giuliani is under investigation and his associates were indicted and facing trial. While Bernard Kerik convicted today, found himself pardoned by giulianis current client, donald trump. Its a lot. And this is not normal. A lot of crimes swirling traunlds president which is why it was so suspicious that trumps own Justice Department said it is taking special ukraine information from giuliani which to many sounded like special treatment from someone under investigation. But as we have been discussing fact, could matter. Now trump doj is trying to down play this intake process for giuliani. Theyre telling congress. There is no unique to any individual. We are back with a very special guest, congressman jim clyburn, the democrat from South Carolina, House Majority whip. Hes one of the most soughtafter endorsements in the race. Hes also the host of the famous clyburn fish fry, which is considered a muststop every cycle for candidates in these president ial primaries. Im really glad to have you. Thanks for being here tonight. Thank you very much for having me. Yes, sir. We have to start with the big question, whether or not youre ever going to tell everyone in public, because youve been carefully neutral in the past, do you have a candidate among these democrats right now that you prefer, that you think is up to the job of being president . Well, i plan to vote. I can only vote for one, and i think i know who that will be, but well wait and see whether or not theres any public endorsements to be made. I dont want to get out in front of our debate. Were going to have a debate on the 25th and ive promised the debate sponsors that i will not be public with anything thats partisan until after that debate. And in the past we all remember particularly around South Carolina how heated the Obama Clinton primary got. Weve reported on this show about complaints in 2016 from people concerned about the role of the leadership of the Democratic Party, whether the dnc and other parts of the party were fair enough. Youre obviously emphasizing fairness leading up to your debate. What about these concerns that were hearing from some democrats who say, well, there are people now running for this nomination who havent really been longterm committed to the Democratic Party. We hear it from some critics about senator sanders and we also now hear it about mayor bloomberg. Do you think thats valid or do you think both of them are perfectly legitimate choices because they say now they want to be the democratic nominee . Well, here in South Carolina we have never registered by party. We only go by peoples actions where they which primary they choose to vote in, so ive never been all that concerned about these kinds of declarations. I am concerned about peoples policies and their practices when it comes to legislation and other things that cause concern. So when we start looking at what i would like to call democratic policies versus republican policies, id like to see where you stand on those things. And if youre okay with our policies, im okay with you. Very straightforward. When you look at your constituents, youve been a leader there for a long time, what do you see as the key issues right now this cycle in South Carolina where everyone is going to be headed after nevada, jobs, Health Care Action other issues. What do you see is important . Well, the number one issue in South Carolina, like everywhere else in the country, is health care. People know, as my dad used to say, you cannot do much of anything without good health. And people like to know that they can rely on the government as a backstop when they have problems with health care. And thats where the Affordable Care act was all about, but thats not the only problem here. Here in South Carolina, we are concerned about housing, were concerned about infrastructure, and were concerned about educational policy. And we are looking at these candidates and wanting to know what are you going to do to make sure that my greatness of this country is accessible and affordable for all of us. If its health care, is it accessible, is it affordable . Housing, education, infrastructure, broadband deployment, these things we would like to know what youre going to do to make them accessible and affordable for all south carolinians and all americans. That to me in a nutshell is what people are concerned about. Mmhmm. Makes a lot of sense. This is a race that weve known in past cycles things can change and its a state that has a lot of power, along with a delegation leader who has a fair bit of power. Congressman clyburn, i appreciate you coming on the beat. I hope youll come back. Thank you for having me. Yes, sir. We will be right back tonight.
