Lots to cover. It is one thing in the white house that somebody to Say Something crude and stupid and disrespectful of an American Hero. It is another thing for them not to apologize. I just wish somebody from the white house would tell the country that was inappropriate. It is our fervent hope that chairman kim wants to make a strategic change a strategic change in the direction for his country and his people and if hes prepared to do that, President Trump is prepared to assure this could be a successful transition. The president will make the decision when he sits down with kim jongun just what exactly the north is up to and hell size him up and hes an outstanding got an outstanding ability to do that. Were hoping this will be big are and different and faster. So much to talk about today. We begin with the president trying to turn attention to foreign policy, touting his actions in iran, north korea and israel this week. Despite his efforts to stay on message, he cant seem to escape the domestic controversies engulfing his administration, still no apology though from the president or the white house for staffer kelly sadlers offensive joan about john mccains cancer. Referring to his opposition to see gina has pel, it doesnt matter, quote, hes dying anyway. Lindsey graham criticizing the white houses response to sadlers comment. Its a pretty disgusting thing to say. If it was a joke, it was a terrible joke. He wish somebody from the white house would tell the country that was inappropriate, thats not who we are. And that Trump Administration and john mccain can be criticized for any political decision hes ever made or any vote hes ever cast but hes an American Hero and i think most americans would like to see the Trump Administration do better in situations like this. Another issue plaguing the president this week is the revelation that his long time lawyer Michael Cohen took large sums of money from Companies Like at t after trumps election, a lot to discuss here. I want to bring in my panel, matt welch editor at large at reason magazine anddown yell goldman and fellow at new york universitys mcsilver institute, a plus panel i have today. Thank you for joining me on this mothers day. I want to start with you on this one, why havent we really heard from the white house with regard to sadlers comments . What about donald trum map o his white house lead you or this is a war hero. He said hes not a war hero he said he got caught. John mccain said he would not endorse trump during the 2016 until not only did he apologize to them to him and other veterans because that was a bad thing to say for their service. Trump didnt care and didnt apologize for even that sense of it. I doubt theres any expectation that theyll apologize. Maybe the individual will herself because she apparently promised as such to megan mccain, but i would see nothing, this is the way the white house and person in donald trump is. Megan mccain was telling abc that when i had a conversation with kelly sadler, i asked her to publicly apologize and she said she would but i have not spoken to her since and i assume it will never come. We havent heard from kelly sadler at all with regards to any sort of apology. Its pretty disappointing but i agree with matt its predictable. The tone starts from the top. The president didnt apologize about saying worse about john mccain and you have a white house where this is essentially normalized behavior. Im surprised by the fact it was said att all in a meeting. If we said anything like that in a meeting we wouldnt be able to go to back to work the next day. Were talking about the white house in this context. This white house has a particular opposition to john mccain, not just for his Health Care Vote but if you recall back to where i gave the dossier to the fbi, donald trump really doesnt like john mccain for a variety of reasons so im sure hes saying its one thing to not like john mccain but its another thing to attack his illness and what hes suffering through. I dont like the politics of this guy and dont agree with the way hes been voting recently but why would we expect decency from this particular president or anyone in his charge . I mean, i disagree with john mccain quite a bit on several issues and i have for a very long time. He is responsible for sarah palin and this emergence of immediate yot kritty, three generations of war heroes. Donald trump, five time deferments, vd was his big vietnam. Hes the least patriotic person. So the fact he refuses to even acknowledge that this is hes been quiet on twitter when it comes to this stuff and hes not going to make her redesign. If he does, it will be for something totally different. Donald trump doesnt care. Has he apologized to the kahne family and veterans and wives of veterans hes insulted. It seems as if Sarah Huckabee sanders with a admonishing her staff with regard to this leak but she was more concerned about the leak than she was about what was actually said. Her press conference on friday i think it was, the day after was an absolute atrocity. I mean to essentially say i refuse to even address the issue, im not going to validate a leak and make it all about the leak when first of all lets call a spad a spad. Theres no way this was actually a joke. Thats the aftermath of the sort of trying to save it and salvage in some way but they are in the middle of a conversation trying to figure out how to handle something and say that. And then for her to go on at that White House Briefing and not answer anybodys questions, not say it was a bad thing to say, were looking into it, were going to nothing. And that kind of stone walling when the president of course is going to stay silent and not doing anything and his mouthpiece is also not doing anything, just continues to send a really bad its interesting, ive been told the making of a good leader means to admit when you made mistakes and were not seeing this from this administration. State of the union, what the white house should do, even though he defended john mccain but still gave an answer to the fact he didnt even want to address what the white house should do. Lets listen to bolton then talk. I dont know what was said or done. Ill say this, john mccain came to my defense in 2005 when my nomination to the u. N. Ambassador was under criticism because he thought i was being treated unfairly. Ill be grateful forever and i wish john mccain and his family nothing but the best. Megan mccain said the thing that surprises me most, i dont know what kind of environment kelly sadler is working in where thats acceptable sean she could still have the job. Im giving you my view. Doesnt the white house have an obligation to apologize . I said what im going to say on the subject. Matt . If you were john bolton how would you answer that question . It shows unity in the white house. I mean, in not fairness the wrong word but in the sense of proportionality lets be real about all of this. This is a terrible thing to say to mccain and family and people who serve like that. We also have the same white house, this same week on the record multiple people including john kelly saying really atrocious things about separating families separating kids from their mothers and fathers at the border as an active means of deter ent. This is happening in large numbers. This is a real world thing that happens to real world people. Its policy. We tend to get really obsessed with manners in our political discourse, all about can you say this, not say this, its an important thing to talk about and im not disputing we should talk about it now but lets keep in mind real world policies and this administration is engaged in right now that fill me with much more of a sense of shuddering down to the bottom of my spine than this particular nasty comment. I think it goes back to the core this president from the top down is filled with people who really lack empathy and real understanding of the collective, like no one in this administration feels the need to see themselves as a public servant. They are here to serve us. They think they are here to serve donald trump which is not the case. Thats how you can get john kelly saying they can go to foster care or whatever. What is the or whatever, these are families, these are American Families we should all collectively care about but everyone is so obsessed with making sure that donald trump is watching them on television and making sure they are on message with what he wants to say. Its not about the 320 million of us and thats the scariest piece if you had problems hearing the brilliance that was just said by christina, its because we are having microphone issues as we do on mothers day. Come on. Lets keep it straight, everybody. I know you have to go im not going to have you for the entire show. I want to get to this topic with regards to cohen and giuliani. He gave a statement about the at t time werner merger. The president stopped the mermger and said the at t time warner merger that they ie the president wanted and then called up Kelly Odonnell and he sort of clarified and walked back statements to say the least. He said the president had no knowledge at all of the payment to Michael Cohen and Shell Company in delaware, essential consultings from at t. The president was against the merger running for office but did not lobby cohen for what he wanted with regard to the at t and time warner merger. Does this make sense . It makes sense from a political standpoint when you have someones lawyer who is out there without any coordination with the policy and politics side of the white house making statements. They dont want it to appear as if donald trump personally got involved in what is now a litigation between the department of Justice Antitrust Division and at t and time warner about this potential merger. But giuliani is going out there trying to make the case for his client, donald trump and in doing so, hes getting into more hot water on the other side of things. So yes, hes walking it back just like he walked back the statement that donald trump reimbursed Michael Cohen. How can he make so many missteps in this . Thats what i dont understand. Im honestly confused about this. He hasnt been a lawyer for 30 years. I think people are forg getting he ran sdny in new york there has to be a central message in the white house what he should and should not be saying. I think part of the strategy is using him to deflect and distract, to muddy the waters. Yes, hes why would they walk back so many things. Because that muddy the water some more because were now talking about how he walked ba a statement that was potentially damaging to donald trump. I think donald trump likes having somebody out there because he is on the record as saying wheres my roy cohen and maybe he found it in giuliani tapping into the idea of the president and articulating what he thinks about the russia investigation. Im not saying giuliani is not making mistakes in that effort but i think thats part of the strategy, to confuse the public so Robert Mueller does come out with the report at the end of this we have all of this conflicting information as to what the facts actually are. Youre giving a lot of credit there where credit may not be due. It is interesting go. Got to go on the air. Were the ones that got to go. Happy mothers day, everybody. I was just going to say its similar to the way trump has dealt with russia in terms of the sanctions. And which have been severe and yet hes not saying anything and trying to dial it back. Theres a disconnect between what his administration is doing or wants to do and then what he personally is doing or wants to do. Giuliani embodies that. Can i quickly ask you while i have you, does chuck rhode s rus this other district, is that an accurate depiction of the Southern District . Are you connelly . Am i connelly . No, connelly is im totally waiting for the answer. Not that im endorsing anything on the show. The short answer is the executives are never actually in the meetings interviewing witnesses, that sort of thing. They never actually meet with anybody. And so its a little Poetic License because you can only have so much characteristics. Thats a lawyer answer. Daniel goldman. Happy mothers day to your wife and mom. Ahead of the opening the u. S. The wall mandated that the u. S. Embassy should be established in jerusalem. Yet more than 20 years this promise was unfulfilled. President trump committed to fulfill this promise and as a result of his leadership we are here today to open the embassy tomorrow. [ applause ] that was treasury secretary Steve Mnuchin speaking at the reception in jerusalem to celebrate the opening. Along with ivanka trump and her husband Jared Kushner are representing the Trump Administration. The embassys controversial relocation is happening amid heightened tensions with gaza, 50 Palestinian Protesters killed and hundreds more wounded. Israeli police bracing for more violent confrontations when they mark the displacement following the founding of israel. With me from israel Ayman Mohyeldin and ill start with you on this one, lets talk about what youve been experiencing on the ground so far, what youve been seeing. Reporter well, you know, today has been jerusalem day or what israelis call jerusalem day and from their perspective it is the day that they unified jerusalem east and west under their complete sovereignty and under their control in the 1967 or since the 1967 sixday war. What we saw was a festive atmosphere, thousands celebrating thought the day, marching in and around the city and old city, but what we saw from the perspective of the palestinians a very different story. They see this as a very provocative set of protests and marches i should say because many of the protesters and marchers go right through the muslim corridor in the old city. Many of them stop outside the compound or temple. They pray there and march there and chant there. In some ways a lot of palestinians who live there see that as very provocative and confrontational. We saw some of that spill over into violence earlier in the morning when in fact a group of those Israeli Jewish marchers entered the grounds. But they were then confronted by palestinians and that led to clashes where the police had to break them up and escort the jewish marchers back off the compound. So it gives a sense of how tense it is but this city has been shut down as a result of those jerusalem Day Celebrations lasting all into the night right now. Ayman, using the word provocative, some people saying really divisive move, obviously for President Trump so much of the conversation is surrounding this decision is with regards to his base. I want to take a listen to something he said at the rally, i believe it was a week or so ago then well talk. So they said from five to ten years. Now you know when they say from five to ten years that probably means 15 tore 20 years, right . We opened the embassy next week. Three months. Three months. [ applause ] so hes obviously talking about how he got from a to z, from the decision to move the embassy to opening the embassy, here we are happening in the next couple of days. How is this good for politics for President Trump . Well, it allows him to tell his base that he kept a promise. Other president ial candidates throughout the last 20 to 30 years made this promise. Hes kept his promise. So to the extent his conversation with the people who voted for him globally this is not looked upon positively. Thats a different matter. Internationally its much more complicated for the region and very few other countries seem to be inclined to follow americas lead in this. Thats a whole different matter. I dont think that is what the president is looking at. In that clip we just saw hes talking to his base and as far as his base is concern the his communication is im a man of my word. Do you think do you think he cares about the global measures that this sort of takes . No. No, i dont. Heres why. He ran on america first, right. He ran on make America Great again and he actually believes that. Thats not just a steve bannon you know talking whispering into his ear and telling him what to believe. Donald trump actually believes america should be more isolated from the world. There is that fight in the white house between the globalists and nationalists. Thats something that donald trump actually believes and i think that what is concerning to me, his lack of understanding of any of the policy details is putting us in a little bit of danger here. I also think that when he says it only took him three months, that is actually representative of the fact he doesnt understand the underlying policy because the reason why it takes five or ten years or more than three months to do things this complicated as bobby said, because they game out all of the different scenarios, he skipped over that and went right to the final decision. Its more about him versus the people its affecting. Correct. Hes also taking advantage whether knowingly or not, able to take advantage of a moment where the palestinians are uniquely weak at this moment. They have very little support outside of in the larger arab world. A couple of weeks ago the crown prince of saudi arabia said these guys should take whatever deal the americans give them, otherwise especially considering the u. S. Pulling out of the iran nuclear deal, now siding more with israel. Israel is in a very strong position and the palestinians have not been this week and all of the years ive been covering them at least. If there was ever a moment to do this, this is the moment to do it. Talk about the statement from the plo general delegation to the u. S. They said this move marks the end of an era when the u. S. Led International Efforts to supposedly achieve the two states solution ending israels occupation that began including East Jerusalem for a very long time the us was seen as a credible peace broker between the israelis and palestinians. And it doesnt seem like thats the case anymore. I think were going to be waking up tomorrow morning to a very different reality from the perspective of the Palestinian Authority in terms of what its relationship with the United States will look like. You can even just look at how their reaction of the Palestinian Authority has been since the announcement back i believe in december it was that the president said he was going to go ahead with this move. Since then, the pa has not had any communication with the Trump Administration about not only the Peace Process but other the United States government has frozen the funds that go to help the Palestinian Refugees that heavily depend on that. Interestingly enough, i thought the statement that came out of the plo had two other interesting points, one saying that today will go down in history as the day the u. S. Encouraged israel to cross the line towards a full fledged apartheid state, suggesting they are now possibly cannot be a twostate solution and the second part of that was that todays move of the u. S. Embassy gives life to a religion conflict. Another suggestion by the palestinians that in fact as a result of this move, were going to harden the extremists on both sides, particularly perhaps on this right wing government here in israel to continue with its policies unabated, settlement expansion, moreland con fis indication and expansion of settlements in the occupied palestinian territories. You bring up a really good point with the weakened palestinian stance and palestinian state. Sort of this new alliance, it Rare Alliance between the saudis and israelis. Can you bring up that tweet again from iran about with regards to iran from President Trump to read that on prompter . We had a new tweet that just came out from iran. As they bring it up. Theyll get to it now. I remember how badly iran was behaving with the iran deal in place. They are trying to take over the middle east by whatever means necessary. Now that will not happen. So President Trump sending that tweet out today. Really its sort of seems like there is now this common enemy in place. Thats right, this has been building for a while. The saudis and other arab states have been gravitating towards a more softer stance, israel for a very long time. Theyve been speaking less and less about palestinians for a very long time. We can argue that the arab states always use the palestinians as a kind of convenient Political Tool and that their sympathies, they never really backed up their words with any real action on the ground. Certainly not in the last couple of decades. This has been happening for a while. I doubt what President Trump tweeted out, the idea that just by switching off the Nuclear Deal Israel iran will not be able to influence affairs in the rest of the middle east. I dont think thats necessarily true. Certainly if the end of the nuclear deal means that iran will have less access to money and resources which it certainly will. That eventually it will be less able to spend money on hamas and on hezbollah. Guess what, hezbollah runs the government in lebanon. So in some ways, the horse has already left the barn, to shut it now, a little late. Bobby goesh, appreciate it. Ayman mohyeldin will be back with more from jerusalem. I dont have any deals in russia. I have nothing to do with russia. To the best of my knowledge, no person that i deal with does. All right, that was President Trump during his first month in office, denying any connections to russia as he has done many times since, however decades earlier, a citizen donald trump did attract unsavory russian players to trump tower and Atlantic City casinos according to investigative reporter, author of the new book trump russia, a define tif history, when corrupt russians flocked to purchase trump Tower Apartments under a policy that allowed for anonymous buyers. Says trump expanded his russian he relationships at his taj mahal casino in Atlantic City. Thanks for joining us on this mothers day, very much appreciate it. Fascinating read so far. Theres a key figure in your book that you talk about. Its a russian mobster named David Bogatin whose connection goes back to the late 1980s, excuse me if im pro nounnouncis name wrong. Who is he . You got it right. Hes a russian criminal who came over from the soviet union and immediately went out and partnered with the Italian American mobsters and ran this lucrative gas tax scam. They had so much money, the estimate was like this whole scam in total generated like a bill dollars or something. So much moneythylaunder it and y found was trump tower. Trump found them convinced them it would be a good investment and got them to buy five apartments for less than around 6 million. Do we know how trump found them . We dont know. I have im still working on that part. There may be family connections in trumps world that introduced him. But i dont have the full story yet. Do you know if he still has a relationship even now . I just heard from a source that that relationship, it is a fascinating story, got busted in the gas tax scam and fled to europe and extradited back then went to prison. Then i heard from a source of former federal investigator just recently when he came out the fbi was looking at him again because he was back in partnership with donald trump. You also quote fusion gps founder Glenn Simpson saying this we know fusion gps with the russian dossier, as we got deeper and deeper into understanding Donald TrumpsBusiness Career and history, it gradually reached a point where it seemed most of the people around trump had a connection to russian organized crime and one way or another. This is pretty astounding stuff. It sounds sinster sort of at the face of it but is this really for donald trump about making money . He doesnt really care whos behind the money and where they are getting their money from, just as long as the money is being put into Trump Organization and trump property. Thats exactly right. You know, donald trump gives you all kinds of inconsistent statements and things but his behalf yor doesnt change. His m. O. Has always been he doesnt care where your money comes from but hes happy to take it. Hes been associating with all kinds of crooks and scam artists for decades. The quote you mentioned, the interesting thing about that, Glenn Simpson, has how we got the steele dossier, but it was glens investigation in all of the connections to the russian maf i can mafia, thats what led to the dossier, glenn didnt know what was going on and needed someone to find out. Had to really figure it out because he realized there were so many connections with regard to the Russian Community and russian mafia, sort of what you found out much more everybody my conversation after the break. Well find out if you found any evidence of collusion during this investigation and plus a decision delayed, why the president will not be sitting down with bob mueller any time soon. President trump has no immediate plans for a voluntary interview with special counsel bob mueller, at least not until after the june 12th summit in singapore according to the president s new lawyer, rudy giuliani. Author of trump russia, definitive history and msnbc legal analyst and editor in chief. Ben, ill start with you on this one, is the north korean summit sort of a legitimate reason for delaying the decision on whether to interview with bob mueller . I think it probably is actually. I mean, a summit on a Major Nuclear issue with a you know in a high stakes situation is precisely the sort of thing i would think a prosecutor would defer an interview and that sort of thing over. Im not sure how seriously to be candid to take mr. Giulianis comments about anything right now because everything he seems to say turns out to be contradicted by other things. So im not sure how reliable the fact that he says that is but i do think that theres good reason for if they make the decision to defer that conversation until after the june summit, i suspect that would be something that the mueller team would probably accommodate. Matt, lets talk about the optics of this decision in putting this out there to the fact that giuliani is now saying President Trump is going to wait until after the north korean summit. How is that being received . Actually ben has pointed out, were in kind of a constitutional gray zone, we dont really know whether the president would have to respond ordeal with the Supreme Court if the Supreme Court says you must testify, we dont know how the Supreme Court rule theres a lot of i think what weve seen since march is a kind of Public Relations dance between the mueller team thats when they first floated that he might be thinking about issuing a subpoena to testify and now giuliani is kind of playing the Public Relations angle on the other side. I think and kind of hope both sides dont actually want to force the constitutional issue because theres going to be some moment of confrontation when all of this is said and done im not sure this is the right time and place to have that kind of thing. Youre seeing a public negotiation happening that may result a public negotiation. P. R. Negotiation. That may result in some kind of written set of answers or may result in something a little bit less than heres a two day grilling. Correct me if im wrong, they said they wouldnt accept written answers from President Trump . They say they wont accept that, at least thats what the Trump Lawyers say, right . Look, theres i agree very much that theres a public dance going on right now that is a kind of piece of the negotiation and the first element of that negotiation is whether between the Public Communications and the private communications you can kind of sketch out terms that are mutually acceptable to both sides and just do it. The second piece of the negotiation if you cant do that, is to issue the subpoena and start litigating it and see who blinks first. So seth, lets get to the crux to all of this and the crux really of the russia investigation and what the public wants to know as well. You did a lot of digging as we were talking about in the last block on the president s relationships with russia, some who have been probed by american authorities like the fbi, some convicted of outright crimes, did you in your Research Find any evidence that the president colluded with the russians in efforts to influence the 2016 election . Collusion if you look at the june 9th 2016 trump tower meeting when theres a group of russians came, pitched to don jr. As a russian government attorney with dirt on Hillary Clinton and replies i love it and brings had brotherinlaw and campaign manager, that is collusion. That could arguably be called collusion, whether its criminal, thats for Robert Mueller to decide. Really, whats happening in that meeting is the russians are putting out another and series of feelers we keep hearing about and what the message that comes back in the Trump Campaign, were going to play ball but the dirt youre giving us its not good enough. Don jr. Calls it a waste of time. The message that comes back is, what more do you have . Then we see more. We see the emails coming out and more coming out during the campaign. Theres a whole conversation going on between the Trump Campaign and russia throughout the entire election. Then you have saying she was there to talk about adoptions and then it turns out she was actually there on behalf of Vladimir Putin as she sort of identified to richard angle at one point. Talk about this rogue character unreported with regard to the trump tower meeting, seth . You know, i got interested, theres a guy in the meeting make named ike and he was sent there from an oligarch who brought the Miss Universe pageant to moscow in 2013. Nobody paid much attention to him. I talked to some people who knew him in moscow before the soviet union fell, he spoke english back then which is an interesting thing because not everybody spoke they didnt just teach english to anyone in the soviet union and there was kgb english, they only taught it to select people. Then he comes to the United States and sets up a company in delaware where hes basically setting up laundering machines for russian money coming out of the former soviet union into u. S. Banks and from there who knows where it goes, but were talking billions of dollars that came through the u. S. Banking system. Well, a lot of good stuff in this book to say the least and fantastic conversation with you all. Thank you matt and ben for coming back with me. Officials in warsaw, North Carolina are standing by the actions of a Police Officer who choked a africanamerican man at the waffle house earlier this month. A bystander shot cell phone video of the incident. So this incident comes less than a month after a woman in alabama was wrestled to the ground by police also at the waffle house in a statement the restaurant chain said its review of both incidents found that race was not a factor in calling the police. Joining our panel to talk more about this. Kwame jackson. Can we show that video again . So people can see it again and see how incredible it is. There you go. Is that the way you handle anybody, kwame . That seems wildly inappropriate to me. Let me first lighten the mood first and say happy mothers day happy mothers day. And then let me jump into the segment and say this give a shout out to your mom. You should. James baldwin has a quote that says to be a negro in america and to be relatively conscious, is to live in an almost constant state of rage. When you think about the overall drum beat of this, over and over constant state of rage, to be relatively conscious. If you can take this and process it and somewhat curious, you know that that really goes into the merit of who you are and works you up. Having that happen over and over again, it frankly gets old. You look at the incident that happened with Heather Locklear three months ago, the former 80s star, she got into a conflict with her boyfriend and police were called. She actually assaulted two officers. She wasnt choked like that. She wasnt pepper sprayed and didnt want to get accidentally shot because she got too excited. We see black women are not exemts from this. What makes me so disgusted, when you hear the interview with the gentlemen after the fact, he says he couldnt breathe so he was moving around, seem with the woman at the waffle house assaulted by two Police Officers and this is the most damaging part. He has a reputation, we keep having the conversation, its a few bad apples. And we had this it is the capitalism and pat tree arcy, we wont get to any resolution. Its interesting off what kwame said, the constant set of rage and off what christina said, christina said that everybody in the community knew that this Police Officer had an agenda. If you are that individual, that young man, youre on the defense. Yeah. And when you see this guy approaching and know exactly who he is. All black people essentially when they see the police are in a state of defense. I know personally im not breaking the law, but when i see a Police Officer theres a stiffness in my spine because i know it doesnt matter who i am or that i worked for Hillary Clinton or i sit on msnbc and talk about politics, im a black person when the police arrive, and so i could be treated that way, and i think thats something that largely White America doesnt understand. Were looking at this this incident by incident and were analyzing the specific facts in each incident but its a systemic problem and about racism and i think, you know, theres a famous academic that asks a group of white students would you like to be treated the way that we treat black people. Raise your hand. Nobody raises their hand, so they we know theres a problem. White america knows theres a problem. Yeah. And black people should be able to exist in public spaces without having the police called. Weve seen enough black People Killed on camera by the police to know that introducing the police in an incident where black people are not doing anything wrong is actually dangerous. We could be killed in that circumstance. In seconds. In seconds it escalates quickly so its very important that if black people are living and existing sitting at starbucks, taking a nap, they should be able to do that. You cannot call the police just because you feel uncomfortable that black people are sharing a public space with you. One of the systemic problems in all of many of these cases is oftentimes the police are not they are protected all out of proportion to the activities. If theres a use of force incidence, some instances they are protected from being interviewed from a deadly use of force for 30 days after the event. We have to systematically go after the ways in which the tools allow for bad people and bad cops and bad actors to get away with it and to not be, you know, if we have a series of complaints. I betcha theres a police union there thats protecting. And reforms being made in the Police Department with regards to the Obama Administration and when the doj changed hands. Rolled everything back. Thanks to all of you for that very good conversation. Still ahead, everybody. Tensions are high as israel prepares for the opening of the u. S. Embassy in jerusalem. Amman moejdin is live on the ground. Oh, i missed her. That went really well, everybody. Happy mothers day to my mom. Can i get my mom on camera. Happy mothers day, mom. That was terrible. Well be back in a couple of minutes. Keep it here, everybody. Msnbc. Love you. With expedia you could book a flight, hotel, car and activity all in one place. No signs of an im sorry coming from the Trump Administration over an age joke about senator john mccain dying despite a crying outcry for a little decency. Im here in jerusalem on what could be a very few explosive few days in recent history in the region.
